The administration staff who asked for payment (called Denise) was so rude and her behavior was so offensive! Really disappointed at this place!

Too many issues to actually list.

Had a great first visit with Dr Straka. Was looking for a good PCP that I can take confidence in with my health. All to often you feel rushed in a doctor appointment and can forget things you wanted to discuss with the doctors. He has been my PCP for many years. He is so caring & professional. He’s very through. He’s the greatest

Dr. Straka is very dangerous! He is not a St. Joe Doctor, so he actually has no privilege's at St. Joe. He never follow through on anything. His referrals are horrible, when I have tests run, St. Joe will tell you 1 thing, HE will tell you another. I now have permanent health issues thanks to him. St. Joe's is horrible too. Neither his office, or St. Joe's know how to do a "clean catch" urine sample, thus all my samples are CONTAMINATED due to this. It doesn't seem to bother him that I'm in Kidney Failure! His staff is rude and uncaring. I prefer to go to my local veterinarian, he's more knowledgeable than Straka! Stay away of you want to live!

Potentially lethally incompetent. Dismissive of life threatening injuries and lacks the basic knowledge of medical specialties when referring. Actually referred me to a specialist who didn’t handle the type of injury, but who did refer me to the correct specialist, and because of this, Dr. Straka actually had the guts to call me and say he’s “tired of patients using secondary referrals” because I had to recontact him to get him to rewrite the referral from his office in order to get the insurance company to pay, but by that time the injury, which was a time sensitive injury, had become permanent.

Dr Straka takes time with you.

More interested in what type of payment they could extract from insurance than helping with medical issues or performing necessary tests. Very poor bedside manner.

Dr. Straka has been my Primary Care Physician for about 5 years. He is very knowledgeable medically and is caring and has excellent bedside manners. He gives excellent diagnosis and will often refer me to a specialist if he thinks that will help.

This is the one Doctor I respect more than any other. He is extremly concerned about his patients takes the time to listen and explain. There is no arrogance about him. Ask as many questions as you would like he will explain his determinations with you. If for any reason he cant help he will steer you in the right direction. I really appreciate his etiquette and bedside manner. I have seen many doctors that just dont sit right. I find him knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend hin and have referred family members and friends. This is the one Doctor I respect more than any other. Dr. Straka is a great doctor. He's knowledgeable and has a positive, caring attitude. I feel he listens to me and I never feel rushed at an appt. I like the nurses, appt setters and receptionists...they are courteous and professional. The "Office Manager Mary" on the other hand was not helpful, down-right rude and condescending...not reflecting the atmosphere of the rest of the office and staff.

Dr. Straka has been my Internist for 17 years. He is very kind and caring. He listens to his patients and offers good suggestions. He is thorough and follows through. I like his sense of humor. He is personable and trustworthy.

Dr. Straka has been my Dr. for over 5 years and rarely spends more than 5 minutes with me during my appts. He doesn't remember me from visit to visit and usually just refers out or dismisses the issues quickly. I'm currently looking for a new Dr.

Dr. Straka is wonderful. Been his patient for years. The only problem I've had is with the scheduling and billing departments.
