Dr. Eric M. Stemmer

He was the best doctor I ever had, but he moved to Columbus, Ohio and I moved to Ashland, Ky.

He was my primary care physician (PCP) for 4 years and he seemed a little short at first but he turned out to be the best doctor I have ever had, and I've seen over 25 different doctors in my short lifetime (including specialists). He's a great listener, ran appropriate tests to rule out issues but also did not push for unnecessary tests, did not skip tests that could have been helpful, he admitted when he was not familiar with something and he had no issues with referring me to someone who did. I would highly recommend this doctor, especially for an OSU PCP.

He has been my primary care doctor for 4 years now, and I'm sad that I will not be able to keep him as a PC because I will be graduating, because I would keep him in a heartbeat! He has always been very careful, good listener, excellent bedside manners, he doesn't hesitate to tell me what he does know and what he doesn't know, and has referred me to a specialist when he wasn't familiar with a background that could pertain to a diagnosis. He always completed tests that could help diagnose and never ran unnecessary tests. He is the best doctor that I have had. With that being said in my 26 years living in 4 different states after 8 main doctors and 12 specialists, and having quite a few medical issues and many visits over the last 3 years, I stand by that. Highly recommend, he's a great doctor!
