BOTH my wife & I have had visits/appointments w/Dr. Abbate in Riverdale, NJ. The dermatology group that I had been going to for years..., told me an app't. would be in 2 - 3 months! I called Schweiger Group, & they had a cancellation the very next morning @ 8:00. Was I GLAD to have gone (SO QUICKLY), as the diagnosis was BCC (basal cell carcinoma) on my ear lobe. The next week---on a Friday morning - it was removed by Dr. Glashofer. It was done, biopsied, & 'turned out' very nicely! My wife had a VERY LARGE "lump" on her lower back. Someone said that it should immediately be L@@KED at - stating to go to Urgent Care. I SUGGESTED she NOT GO THERE, as they were ONLY superficially L@@K at it, & hardly so-called: would be able to treat it PROPERLY. AGAIN - within a couple of days - back to Dr. Abbate, who REMOVED the lump IMMEDIATELY at the Riverdale facilities - RIGHT AWAY/the very same visit. Very , VERY "Pleased" - with BOTH Doctors, & would HIGHLY RECCO. them!! Very professional, efficient & knowledgeable, INDEED!

This is the worst dermatologist's office in NYC. How cruel of your director Tiana to disrespect my black daughter in this way and cancel her appointment the day of because she left a negative Yelp review about the office manager Sarah being unprofessional and expressed concerns about misconduct. How cruel of Tiana to not understand the concerns of my black daughter when it comes to a medical procedure? Dr. Nava Greenfeld is unprofessional for not taking the time to review her appointments and doing back-to-back appointments. How cruel of the office manager, Sarah, to threaten my daughter? Sarah told my daughter that she would disrespected by the office upon leaving the negative Yelp review. The entire staff was kind and helpful. I had to undergo a painful procedure but they made sure that I was comfortable and answered all questions.

Yesterday was my first visit and I loved the office and the staff. Will definitely go back...I have already recommended the practice.

FYI: I would highly recommend patients check their insurance claims & make sure your insurance is only being billed for procedures actually done. Discovered some extra procedures billed to my insurance company that were not done. Have never experienced this in my 20 years of visiting doctors.
