Dr. Pizza has always been there for me in the times and I mean times of need. He knows what to do and it has been always the right treatment for me. Thank you Dr. Pizza and staff too!!!

Dr. Pizza took the time to completely explain my test results, showing me the MRI scans. He then laid out the next possible steps for treatment.

Dr. Pizza has a horrible bedside manner, but if he knew anything related to urology, i could overlook that. He is so quick to say everyone else doesn't know anything but yet it is him that doesn't know anything. He did not diagnose me properly. He is dismissive of what you say your problems are. He is absolutely the worst doctor i have ever been to. Thankfully I was linked to a very qualified urologist who is treating my problem and I am hopeful things will get better. I suffered for months because of him. Praying I don't have permanent kidney damage because of him. I wouldn't send my dog to Dr. Pizza. He needs to retire or the board needs to take his license.

Dr. Pizza is great. He knows what he is doing.

Needed to have a stone removed via uretheroscopy. Doctor Pizza, surgery center and staff were all great. Would recommend.

This doctor is somewhat of a brainiac. Smart but seems scrambled at times. It’s been 4 days since my appointment and I’m still waiting for a script to be sent to my pharmacy. I have a procedure scheduled that requires a relaxing effect. I guess I have to call his office again.

Professional, knowledgeable, understanding

Very poor experience and no resolution to my issue. Was basically told that I was lying when I described the amount of water I was drinking. I had to give Dr. Pizza a quick lesson on urinary physiology and hyponatremia. Highly encourage everyone to stay away. Would give zero starts if possible.

Dr Pizza has no interest in the health of his patients. Each time I see him he just wants me to take antibiotics for pain I've been having. He had ordered an ultrasound which showed nothing conclusive, and he said he was at a loss on how to treat me any further. Upon asking for a referral to another urologist, he declined knowing anybody that could help me. Each time I've seen Dr Pizza, he saw me only for a few minutes each time. I was able to get into Dr. Pizza quickly on a day and time that for my schedule. On the day of the appointment I was taken back to the exam room. Immediately. Then Dr. Pizza was in to see me in just a few minutes. Overall a very good experience. I did complete a lot of self check in online before my appointment, including uploading pictures of my insurance cards. I would highly recommend using the portal to register before your visit. I would also highly recommend Dr. Pizza. I was able to get into Dr. Pizza quickly on a day and time that for my schedule. On the day of the appointment I was taken back to the exam room. Immediately. My husband’s bladder cancer was missed by Dr. Pizza and abnormal cytology was dismissed. Find a different urologist.

Years ago I had a positive experience with Dr. Pizza removing a stone in my ureter. Recently however he failed to identify a bladder cancer and missed abnormal cytology to diagnose it. There are likely more thorough urologists available.

He took my husband's kidney and left a hernia the size of texas and THEN put him on ibuprofen 800!!! Killed him 4 months later when an ulcer blew his stomach out!

Dr. Pizza knows nothing about Foreskin, Was told it's a useless piece of"extra" skin!! I asked if he knew the functions and anotomy of the foreskin and he kept telling me it's useless!

Poor vasectomy experience. Dr. Pizza's bedside manner is very terse. In our pre-procedure appointment, he gave me a 60 second medical description of the procedure and then said "Any questions?" Had I gone to a doctor with a better pre-vasectomy counseling session, I would have likely decided against this procedure. As for the procedure itself, I believe it was far more painful than it should have been. I received absolutely no follow-up calls/care/support after the procedure.

Other reviews about quality of service are right...poor. And that is horrible when related to healthcare. Called to schedule appointment and was told 18 days to get appointment...okay. Asked for four pages to be mailed that scheduler said needed to be completed and was told 18 days wasn’t enough time for receiving the pages by mail because the request needs to be routed outside the doctor’s office and needs to be mailed from Detroit area. And that is simple compared to providing medical care.

My husband needs to be seen by Dr Pizza for a follow-up for bladder cancer concerns consisting of treatment or catheterization for frequent urination. I have called several times to obtain his input or appointment but have had no response. Time to find another physician. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this physician.

The office was unresponsive to post-surgical problems, and we had to hire a different urologist for follow up care.
