Update: I hate to write this, but when Dr. Orzeck merged into the Endocrine Center on Katy Freeway, his attention to care suffered. I had surgery and my sugars kept dropping as low as in the 30's. I was told to "live with it". As long as I have been with him, this whole visit angered me as I left as a waste. I did the best thing for me. I fired him. I just adore Dr. Orzeck! He truly saved my life several years ago finding I had no HGH. When my job moved across town and my insurance changed, I went to several different doctors. None could compare and I am back! I've had some pretty unique health challenges over the years and I appreciate the time Dr. Orzeck spends discussing (Not just talking TO me) my health and care. We work on this together and I do try to educate myself so that we can have a discussion of options. I've never experienced an unreasonable wait time, I do try to be strategic on scheduling my appointments. There have been some bumps on prescriptions....they have been remedied in a fairly decent time frame. I don’t know why they even schedule appointments because they are never on time. Been coming here for years and never once got called back at my scheduled appointment time. So frustrating

That’s ridiculous how this office is working. Not first time when I asked to send medication to pharmacy, sitting and waiting in pharmacy and office staff doing nothing. It’s very normal situation for them to leave pregnant patient without medication.. Another situation- I called in the morning with question if I can use different meds instead of prescribed because no one pharmacy have it now, they promised to call back same day with answer. Nobody did it. I called again afternoon and lady said that doctor still haven’t received my message yet.. Are you serious?! I’m worry because I’m pregnant women and very important for me to take meds every day to keep my hormones lever. They promised to call back at the end of the day .. Nobody called ! Also I asked what time they close today (to have a chance to call them again ) , she said 5:30pm .. Of course nobody called me , I gave a call at 5:05pm and their phone was disconnected already with no voice messages system. Great Service !!! Eventually - Doctor and his stuff don’t care about their patients. Can’t find 1-2 minutes to answer important messages.. I work for an insurance company. I have requested information from Dr Orzecks office in order to help a patient get the care they need over the last month. Liz the authorization coordinator has told me things like I just got in the office, I have to have the Dr notes transcribed or Ill send that out today. I went looking for diabetic wound care. Google maps showed that they could help. They do not provide wound care. Had to find that out when i went there.

Dr. Orzeck has change my husbands quality of life. He had depression and uncontrollable diabetes in only 2 months he gained hope and is back working. It’s been 2 years. I cannot thank this doctor enough for giving my husband his life back . God bless you.

Dr. Orzeck has been my doctor for over 30 years. He has saved my life during cancer treatments and has kept me healthy through his constant monitoring of my care, medications prescribed and taking a person interest in me. May Dr. Orzeck remain healthy and well to continue caring for me for many many more years to come.

Stopped going to this doctor. He was very abrasive and rude on each visit. Antagonistic and not user friendly at all. Never resolved issues or even really explained well what was going on.

Dr. Orzeck is an excellent endocrinologist, better than the average, as he listens to the patient and doesn’t merely treat the bloodwork like most do. However, I have had better results with armour thyroid, despite his opposition to it as being an unreliable treatment.

I have been a patient of Dr. Orzeck for over eight years. My experience with Dr. Orzeck and his staff has been excellent. I have been with several endocrinologists during the last 20 years for my thyroid problems, and Dr. Orzeck has been the best by far. Dr. Orzeck's office is very busy because there are far too many patients with diabetes, but I never had any delays or been mistreated. Mary always takes care of my refills promptly and efficiently; I don't understand why "Mr. Stinky Teal" complain about her. I have been a patient of Dr. Orzeck for over eight years. Dr. Orzeck had me have TSH, T3, and T4 test, I then wanted to see the test report and the office wanted me to have a office visit with copay, which I felt it's unusual. I usually get my test report from other Dr. office FREE, but Dr. Orzeck's office asked me to pay copay to get my test report. My T3 level is abnormal, and T4 and TSH are normal. Dr. Orzeck wanted me take medicines, I did research and found out some medications can affect T3 levels, I don't agree with Dr. Orzeck decisions.

Excellent staff who go above and beyond to meet your needs. Dr. Orzeck is highly intelligent and he has helped me more than any Doctor I have ever have.

Dr. Orseck diagnosed me as insulin resistant 13 years ago without properly testing me because my dad was insulin resistant. After finally getting tested all these years later, I realize now he put me on medicine I apparently never needed to be on. I've been suffering from the misdiagnosis and side effects from the medicine since.

I have seen Dr Orzeck over 20 years and have had nothing but the very best of care from him and his other staff including his PA and nursing staff. i would highly recommend him to anyone with an Endocrinology problem.
