Dr. Eric Reynold Nelson

Dr. Nelson and his staff, all were kind and calm and made me feel safe and in good hands. They also smiled and spoke softly. I was scared but they made me feel like all was going to be o.k.. And I aM GRATEFUL IT ALL TURNED OUT WELL.

Dr. Nelson is a superior surgeon. My gallbladder removal and hernia repair went perfectly. My incisions were not sore, and they healed extremely quickly. My pain level was so low, and I had zero nausea, which is a testament to a great surgeon. He is extremely accessible and gives you his cell phone number. Some people prefer to go to Phoenix for surgery, but I would go so far as to recommend that they come to Prescott to use Dr. Nelson and Tri City Surgery Center. Both exceeded my expectations.

Dr Nelson is wonderful. He is a very skilled surgeon. He took time to explain everything to me and put my mind at ease. He even called me the evening of the surgery. Everyone in the office and at the surgery center was kind and helpful. He repaired my hernia. I felt no pain and am recovering well. Thank you Dr Nelson.

For better or worse, Dr. Nelson is generally against the use of cortisone shots. So the only real option he provides is surgery for carpal tunnel syndrome. One of the staff members gave me a mini intervention on obesity before I saw Dr. Nelson, e.g. the old "losing ten pounds can help a lot." Her unsolicited, out-of-no-where comments were immediately insulting since I was just there for my hands (and have been actively losing weight). I'm sure, in her mind, she was doing me a favor. Maybe I should have jogged in place in the waiting room???

My visit was amazing I am all about customer service and his office really makes you feel very comfortable and they immediately acknowledge you. I went to see him for carpal tunnel for both hands. He knew immediatley what it was and I had surgery in both hands within a month from each other and it went well. The people at Tri-City Surgery were just as good as the people in his office.

Very knowledgeable and quite compassionate. Did not make me feel rushed at all. Would definitely see him again. And his front office staff are wonderful:)

Dr. Nelson is absolutely fantastic! And all his office staff very helpful and sweet! Had my gallbladder surgery recovering well. Dr. Nelson called next morning checked on me make sure I was doing ok! Great doc!

First met Dr. Nelson because of a hernia problem. He and his staff were great. All questions were answered in a way I could understand. I had my surgery January 4, 2021 with no hitches or pain. The Tri City Surgery Center where surgery was performed also has a great staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Nelson removed my gallbladder on 12/22/20. He was very thorough in explaining my condition and how the surgery would solve my problem. His staff is always very helpful and great with phone follow up. The staff at Tri City Surgical Center was very professional and the surgery went well. I would highly recommend Dr. Nelson, his staff and Tri City Surgical Center to anyone needing surgery or an opinion from this doctor.

Dr. Eric Nelson performed carpectomy surgery on my right hand in 2012 and on my left hand in 2013 . Prior to surgery I had extreme pain. Both hands have healed beautifully. I have no pain and full range of motion. My husband also had Dr. Nelson perform hernia surgery, which was completely successful. We have also both had Dr. Nelson perform our colonoscopies at Tri-City Surgicenter. Much, much more affordable than the hospital! I would definitely recommend Dr. Nelson.

I have already recommended Dr. Eric Nelson to the neighbor across the street. Dr. Nelson operated on my carpal tunnel so that I could knit lace garments again. The surgery was quick and painless because it was a local. The surgery center is clean and careful. I am so glad my family doctor sent me to him.

Dr. Nelson and the staff are amazing. Dr. Nelson is professional and knowledgeable in all areas dealing with the hand. I had carpal tunnel release done and it changed my life! No more numbness or pain! This guy is amazing!

LOVE THIS OFFICE! my husband had wrist pain and went to see Dr. Nelson, He explained it in plain terms and was very helpful. office staff is great too!

No I would NOT reccomend Dr. Nelson. The doctor performed surgery for tendon repair on both hands. My husbands hand blew up twice the size. The dr left or vacation the next day. The assistant temp ved the stitches to drain it. Problem? The Dr wrote the prescription for antibiotics wrong and was half the amount needed!! My husband went to occupational therapy for three months at the height of Covid none the less. He is suffering with this hand. The finger is now contracted and still inflamed. We are going to Scottsdale to have another surgery to repair this. Really? A wrong prescription and excruciating pain AND waited till he got back from vacation to see him about this (a week later). There’s nothing else to say, except I hope this helps other people in making their decision for surgery. Just terrible

Excellent Hand surgeon

Wow! I wish every doctors office operated this way. They went above and beyond to help me and Dr. Nelson explained everything to me in plain English to where I fully understood what could be going on. The staff also worked with me more then I imagined. You guys are amazing, Thank you.

Dr Nelson repaired a "trigger finger" on both hands about 18 months ago. The hands were sore for a few weeks and stiff for almost 9 months. Further, I found the overt oversized religious artifacts all up in the patients face disquieting. How it's done put me off. within a short time after doing surgery; He decided to neither return calls or respond to messages. Rude. I've been kind in this review; I've heard worse from other patients.

Excellent staff and doctor.

Dr Nelson performed my colonoscopy at Tri-City Surgery center. He and his staff were outstanding. Terrific people. The facility and staff at Tri-City were also the best. Great experience.

Dr. Nelson and his team were very friendly and helpful. I was able to get an appointment quickly and they scheduled my surgery for the next Monday. Surgery was smooth and I was able to follow up any time. Dr. Nelson even gave me a phone call within a few hours to address my concerns and made time for me the next morning. They were wonderful to work with. They listen and care.

Dr Nelson performed surgery on my husband and he and his staff are wonderful. Very professional and caring. They got us in quickly and when we arrived for appointment they got us in on time didn't have to wait forever to go back and see Dr. Got him scheduled for surgery quickly also. While there I had a question not related to my husbands issue and when he was done with my husband he took care of my quick issue while we were there. Didn't require us to make appointment and come back.
