Dr. Eric Samuel Nadler

Dr. Nadler saved my life. Very smart and good at what he does. His staff is highly trained and always there when you need them.

As a long-term sarcoma patient/survivor of 27 years, I receive followup care with Dr. Nadler. I am very fortunate to have this doctor's expertise through testing, selecting a surgeon, and in finding the right resources for my ongoing condition. He is a problem solver interested in quality of life issues for his patients, and in my case, encourages me to exceed expectations. Dr. Nadler has dedicated his career to sarcoma research, which is a rare and complex study, and also has a genuine concern for his patients. He advocates for his patients with close attention to detail and a thoughtful approach, and I will highly recommend him to any patient (local or international) seeking medical care for this rare and challenging cancer.

My husband and I both love Dr. Nadler. I honestly do not know what I would do without him. He is the best and I have recommended him to several people already. He listens and answers any questions you may have and he does not beat around the bush about things. He is very thorough. He has not only been my doctor over the last five years but a friend as well.

Dr Nadler is has always answered my questions that even a layman like me can understand.

.Dr Nadler is very knowledgeable about lung cancer. He gains your trust and is honest and forthcoming. after one treatment of chemo, I feel better than I have in a long time.

3 year follow up post chemo and radiation with negative scans. It has been teamwork and consideration between physician and patient.

Dr Nadler is well versed in all things regarding lung cancer. He gains your confidence and is honest with you. He told me that after one session of chemo, I would feel better than I have in months. I went thru hell to get there, but sure enough, I feel good. Haven't been able to say that in a long time.

My mother had Stage IV lung cancer non smoker with prognosis of 3 months with no options other than chemo and radiation. She had been treated with radiation in Mississippi prior to our visit. I did countless research and attempts to try to get second opinions and even tried to get an opportunity into MD Anderson but was not successful then we found Dr Nadler. My mother is not with us today but if it wasn't for Dr Nadler and his quick acting and determination, she would've left us in just a short month. Dr Nadler gave us another full year with my mother. We were not aware that chemo and radiation were not the only treatments out there. There are many many options out there depending your case/tests. He told us exactly what was going to happen through chemo and radition. Explained check-ups and how often I would be doing CT scans. I liked him being honest and up front with the whole treatment.

My last visit with Dr. Nadler was to get follow up results from my latest CT scan (3 month schedule). Even though he was wearing a mask, I could tell from his eyes that he was smiling as he read the results and then gave me the good news that there was no evidence of cancer. He's been treating me since the summer of 2020 and he has always been very straightforward with me about what to expect. He has also been very kind and supportive. He is an excellent doctor and I credit him and God with now being cancer free.

I moved from Long Island to the North Dallas area looking for a new oncologist. I had high expectations because I went to Memorial Sloan Kettering who is involved in treatment and research. I found Dr. Nadler, and I am very pleased. He is extremely bright, well-informed, has a great deal of experience with NSCA, my mutation and targeted therapies, among others. He has a lot of energy, is honest with goals in mind. The staff is very kind.

Dr. Nadler is a brilliant MD, MPP, with exceptional knowledge in his area of expertise. He is frank and straightforward in his diagnosis and with ongoing treatment /scan results. Great doctor, excellent decisions and patient manner.

I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Nadler for over three years and find him extremely knowledgeable and caring.

I have had 3 appointments. He has never checked me for any reoccurring cancer signs. A body scan is all he does. On first visits I saw ONLY his nurse. Told me to contact my internists if I had concerns other than cancer related—told me how great he was.

Dr. Nadler is a great, open doctor. Tells you how it's going to be. Started my treatments in January of 2020 along with proton therapy. By June 2020 i had no cancer. Everyone at Sammons Cancer is wonderful people.

This guy is like a tornado of action. He's got his phone in one ear, a computer in front of him, and he's firing off orders to assistants on my behalf in three different directions at one time. It is mesmerizing to watch him. He gets the job done, always follows up, and always makes sure I'm completely informed about what is going on and the choices I have. He makes sure I'm comfortable with the process and with the meds, and he never hesitates to answer my questions. Dr. Nadler leaves no doubt that he is fighting with me and for me, and it just doesn't get any better than that!

Dr. Nadler is very knowledgeable and positive in his approach to treatments. I always found him to be positive, yet truthful in his explanations and discussions, and I trust his approach to my treatments. Besides my wife, I have found him to be the best partner in my fight against cancer.

My husband is a patient off Dr. Nadler. From the first day we met him I trusted him with my husband's care. He told us what to expect, what to be aware of, possibilities of what could happen. He was very straight forward. Needless to say only his hair came out and he had to have a trachea and G tube. As of today March 24, 2021 there is no sign of cancer. Dr. Nadler has been excellent to work with. I've been through a couple or rounds of Head/Neck cancer and have worked with a few Oncologists. I was referred to Dr. Nadler, since he specialized in this type of cancer. I appreciate the fact that he talks too me and not at me. He'll answer questions in a manner that I can understand. I am now with Dr Nadler for post treatment checkups and am so grateful to have been referred to his care at my diagnosis. He is honest and straight-forward but also caring and championing for the best outcome for his patients. Dr Nadler is currently treating my husband and I have to say that I wouldn’t want any other doctor. He’s aggressive and thoughtful in the battle and he’s very straightforward about what he expects from us. He does insist that you do it “his” way. But honestly while we were not thrilled about getting a port nor a feeding tube - in hindsight I wouldn’t want it any other way. My husband has his first post treatment scans in a few weeks and I have every expectation of good news. The team led by Dr Eric Nadler, ( chemotherapy) combined with efforts from Dr Scott Cheek (radiation) and Dr Lance Oxford, (oversight). From the original diagnosis, through the difficult treatment plans, through the last cancer free scan, I owe the team a debt of gratitude! Dr. Nadler was no nonsense, though very patient friendly. Dr. Nadler is warm, kind, honest and caring. On our first appointment, he spent over an hour with us calming our fears, reviewing the treatment plan and answering our questions - even the ones that were tough to ask. He is thorough and explains things in a way that is understandable. Now that we are post-treatment and cancer-free, we look to him as a friend. He made us laugh in some of our darkest days.

Not sure what to say here. Requested doctor’s notes for my own files and couldn’t believe what I saw. Physical examination states that neck has no enlarged nodes, stomach soft, armpits no palpable lymphadenopathy, heart’s regular rate...how would he know? He never touched me. Not on the last appt, not before last. He just wings it in the report? What if I did have enlarged nodes somewhere? It doesn’t matter what the scan shows, physicical exams are crucial, especially with cancer patients.

Dr. Nadler is wonderful! He is passionate about his work and takes your cancer care very seriously. Dr. Nadler is super knowledgeable, very hands on, and compassionate! I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Throat and Tongue cancer over a year ago and am now cancer free and feeling good! I couldn't have asked for a better Oncologist!!! Dr. Nadler is straight forward and doesn't sugar coat your condition. It is nice to hear the truth. He is caring and funny too! Highly recommend him!

I am currently in post-treatment weekly checkups with Dr. Nadler and have to say that I am not sure where I would be without him. He is confident, honest, caring, and straight-forward. He tells it like it is and exactly what to expect and when to expect it. I went into this scared and not knowing at all what to expect. I am now on the other side of treatment with a fantastic outlook and alot more life to live (and that's with a stage 4 diagnosis). Thank you Dr. Nadler for saving my life.

Dr. Nadler is no doubt a smart and highly educated man. There is no doubt he knows what he is doing. I however feel like he is missing several very important traits that together make an amazing Oncologist. If only he had the patience, empathy, gratitude, was less cocky and spent more time with the patient, sat down in front of them, answered every question looking them in the eye and just was a good listener. - he would've been a diamond.

Genius Doctor. Treated me in 2007 for a sarcoma in my right forearm. Provided a hard but effective treatment plan. Aligned me with two other surgeons that carried the torch in saving my right forearm and essentially my life. I have to say though I always told people he sorta looks like Josh Groban.
