Dr. Eric Janota DO Edward-Elmhurst Health Words such as gracious, friendly, welcoming, and compassionate come to mind when I think of Dr. Eric Janota as well as his staff of professionals at Edward-Elmhurst Health. Without medications Dr.Janota relieves stubborn pain, weakness, and immobility with Muscle Activation techniques and with coaching in proper breathing and tips and tricks for rounding the corner of any physical challenge I have been faced with thus far with complete success!

Always is kind and often thinks outside the box.

Dr.Janota is a caring person and has been able to address my chronic pain through muscle activation and not the use of drugs. Everyone at this practice shows professionalism.

Dr. Janota is simply the best! He takes his time and does not rush through his appointments. I have to advise getting muscle activation therapy done! I will go back

Dr Janota came in and introduced himself, shook my hand and stood looking eye to eye with me during our first appointment. He listened to my concerns and was willing to immediately pick up where my previous doctor (who left the medical group) left off. By the time I walked out of there I felt genuinely pleased with having him as a Doctor. I will recommend him to anybody who is looking for a new doctor! P.S. If you are looking for a pill pusher find a different doctor... If you want a doctor who actually wants to help you give Dr Janota a try!

This was a yearly check-up visit. As always, Dr. Janota and his nurse were pleasant and helpful. I had some questions about recent minor problems. Dr. J. listened patiently and gave me some practical suggestions. As always, he said to call back if the problem was not resolved within two weeks. I would definitely recommend him as a family physician.

All of the doctors, nurses and medical staff do a great job!

Very knowledgeable about activation and really helps immensely in my cycling.

Dr. Janota is very knowledgeable, kind and thorough, he spent a lot of time discussing the issues with us. We had a very good visit.

Dr. Janota is a good Dr. and a good man. He's very thorough, attentive and truly cares about his patients.

I saw Dr. Janota on Jan. 20 in the respiratory clinic with symptoms of corvid exposure. After Dr. ran test and discussed situations, I left with instructions. Dr. Janota personally called me on a daily basis before and after positive test. He checked on my progress and certainly ordered proper medication and helped alleviate my fears. His expertise, compassion and kindness went far and above. This community is very lucky to have Dr. Janota.

I went for activation, my neck was hurting, I do a lot of cycling. Afterwards my nick felt a lot better and hasn’t hurt much since.

Great doctor and great team of nurses and staff. Called with an issue and I was given an appointment same day. Doctor Janota did not rush me through but took time to do some proper testing and checking. He prescribed antibiotics and I think the medication is helping!

Dr. Janota is easy to talk to, caring, and gives as much of his time as is needed. I've been going to him for many years and trust his medical advice.

I’ve been a patient of his for years but will not return. Clearly based his clinical decisions on his political leaning. I do not trust that he has my best interests in mind

Timely, safe and courteous through all.

Did not feel rushed as he took the time to answer all my questions.

Dr Janota helped my wife with her back and shoulder problems and my daughter who was diagnosed with scoliosis. My wife they wanted to operate on and my daughter was told she would need to start wearing a brace full time. After a few visits with Dr Janota both issues improved dramatically and my wife rarely has any pain at all and my daughter no longer needs a brace to correct her scoliosis. Dr Janota and his osteopathic manipulation or “magic” as we call it really do work wonders. I would recommend to anyone before receiving any type of surgical fix to muscle and skeletal issues. Dr. Janota has been my primary care physician for many years. He is always thorough, takes the time to listen to you, and answers questions in layman's terms. His office staff are good to call and remind me when I am due for testing or a physical.

Dr Janota listens very carefully to patients. He has a calm, patient demeanor. Unlike other doctors, he makes you feel like you are the most important thing to him at that moment. While he seems to always run on schedule, he never appears rushed. Whatever time you require, he will see that you get it. He is very skilled and is supportive of patient beliefs. If you believe in a natural approach, he will work with you to maximize it, and to supplement it with any other medical treatment that may be needed.

Great visit activation makes me cycle to the next level

As usual Dr. Janota's office was wonderful to schedule an appointment within a day or two of my call. Dr. Janota has a "habit" of NOT keeping patients waiting. I no sooner check in when my name is called to take me to an exam room. His nurses are professional and friendly. I especially appreciate Cheryl who returns my calls promptly and always get me the answer I'm looking for. I am very thankful the I was referred and accepted into Dr. Janota's practice about 10 years ago. Same goes for my wife.

Not many doctors these days that spend time with you and really listen to you and help to feel better about yourself. I really appreciated everything he did for me . Looking forward to my next visit.

Amazing Dr. Really takes the time to listen, very caring.

Dr. Janota has been our family doctor for over 10 years - even before joining Edwards. He has taken care our our family, including since the time my children were born - and now, he even is my grand-children's physician. Would whole heartily recommend Dr. Janota for anyone needing a doctor.

Dr. Janota is very open to Holistic medicine and alternative treatments. I have had nothing but good experiences with him and actually look forward to my appointments when they come around.

I first started seeing Dr. Janota several years ago when he first started practicing in Sandwich. Due to insurance changes, I had to see another physician for several years, but was recently able to switch back. He takes the time to listen to you and explains anything that needs clarification. I recently found out I am diabetic and he and the nurses have been supportive in getting me on track with diet and weight loss.

I trust this man with my life and my whole family's lives. He has been the BEST Dr. I have seen. I really truly appreciate the oppotunity to be a patient of his. He acctually cares about his patients... which is hard to find.
