Eric C Chamberlin

Dr. Chamberlin is an excellent physician and also a kind, caring person. He listens with patience and explains treatments clearly, inviting questions. He is not quick to operate, but when surgery is needed, he is the person to do it well.

Dr. Chamberlain combines both outstanding surgical skills with a compassionate spirit. He has performed surgery on my neck and back, and my outcomes and recoveries were excellent! I highly recommend him. He is an outstanding physician and genuinely caring person.

After suffering for years and seeing multiple doctors, Doctor Chamberline quickly pinpointed my issue and operated on my neck and did a fantastic job. Highest level of professionalism, I recommend him without reservation.

On March 24, 2019 I went to Jefferson Hospital because of back pain following a fall. I was told I had a compression fracture of the spine, to see an orthopedic doctor. I called Dr. Chamberlin on March 25 and was not able to get an appointment until April 1. During this appointment I was told to get an MRI. The earliest opening they had was April 11. I called on Fri. April 12 and got a recording saying that the contact person wasn't in the office until Monday. I called on Monday morning and was told to leave my information and someone would return my call. I had heard nothing by 4:15 and got the same message. Once again I left my contact information. It is now 6:00 and I have gotten no reply. This is almost 5 weeks that I have been in pain and have had no treatment for this injury other than that given at the hospital and the MRI. I had an appointment scheduled with this office. On the day of the appointment, I was so happy it was finally here, when 3 hours in advance of the appointment, they called and cancelled the appointment, because the doctor had an emergency, which I fully understood. But then, rather than rescheduling for a day or so out, I was scheduled for 2 1/2 weeks out. As it turned out, I had a severely herniated disk and received essentially no treatment for those first 3 weeks due to the way this office treated me. It was reprehensible. Now that I am in a different position in life generally, I realize how badly I was treated by this office. Highest level of professionalism, care and concern. Highly recommend the doctors of Pittsburgh bone and joint.

Dr. Chamberlin did surgery on my lower back. He did an excellent job. I would have him again if need be.

Dr Chamberlin was awesome!! Did my surgery Dec 2012. Foraminectomy and laminectomy. Still doing GREAT! Changed my life.

I am in sever pain in my neck. I have tried physical therapy and cortisone injections. I have numbness and pain in both my hands. My arm strength has gotten worse. Dr. Chamberlain keeps putting me off saying my pain is systemic. I have been to a rheumatist doctor and he says that it is my neck. I feel Dr. Chamberlain does not care.

In Extreme pain. After my initial visit physical therapy was,suggested. I did this for a long while I was getting relief. My back problem increased unfortunately. I went back and was passed of to a pain clinic. When I called them they were extremely unprofessional. This doctor spent exactly one minute after I waited for an half an hour in the exam room. Only to be told to see another specialist. I was insulted by the total disregard for my condition. Will be looking for another doctor.

Dr. Chamberlin relieved my very painful sciatica with minor microdisc surgery in 2010 . I received immediate relief and am very happy and satisfied with the treatment I received.
