Dr. Byman has certainly "loosened-up" since joining the practice and become more personable and relaxed. He is thorough and addresses any concerns I express. The more I see him the more "connected" I feel.

The entire staff demonstrates a level of care that is very reassuring.

Dr Byman and his staff are very professional and caring. I have found Dr Byman to take his time when treating me and I have never felt like I was being rushed or hurried with my appointment. I highly recommend this practice.

Appointment was made in a timely manner. Waiting room was closed but the work around was a short wait in my car. Staff is courteous and professional. Dr. Byman is a trust doctor who has made excellent diagnosis and keeps me healthy. Highly recommend TPMG Independence.

I have going here for several years as my PCP and the staff have consistently been nothing but kind, understanding, and professional.

I was very impressed with the thoroughness of Dr Byman and his staff. Everyone who worked in his office was cheerful and helpful and pleasant and the attention to detail and interest in every aspect of my health was quite impressive!

First visit with him was great. He asked about other problems and was helpful.

Dr Byman takes his time and never gives me the impression that his attention is elsewhere. He asks questions about all aspects of my health and provides info to be shared with specialists. He does not hesitate to refer to other physicians and strives to be sure my health issues are being addressed. I recommend him.

Staff is always warm & friendly. The doctor always has the patients best interests at hand.

Received very timely service. Dr. Byman spent a lot of time to review my bloodwork and discussed each reading as it relates to me.

Service was prop and good!

I have to disagree my family has been with Dr. Byman for the better part of 12+years. We have triplettes that are now 24 yrs they as well as my husband and I have great admiration Trust and respect for Dr.Byman . He is always available and attentive to my family. Absolutely not! I see a lot of 5 star reviews but he gets a big zero from my family for letting my 86 year old mother suffer in pain for the last few months with no concern at all for her quality of life. She has Alzheimer’s and has a hard time explaining where it hurts etc. she holds her belly and sides and can hardly get up out of the bed. First thing is they lose the urinalysis and we never got a copy of the bloodwork. We had to call MULTIPLE times just to find out anything. So he gives her a course of antibiotics which do nothing. Next is a CT scan in which they said there’s a mass in there but we’re not sure if it’s a uterus or not? What’s that supposed to mean? Then he scheduled ultrasound and she has gallstones and her pelvic region had a large cyst that puts pressure on her insides. They still can’t tell us WHAT IS THE DIAGNOSIS? We are obviously on our own and will have to find someone who knows what they are doing and someone who won’t let her suffer any more in her last day

Very competent and thorough. He's been my doctor for several years and I highly recommend him.

Had a follow up appointment for a biopsy after a regular physical exam. Dr. Byman was able quickly and painlessly remove the lesion.

Never saw the doctor after two appointment attempts. Initial visit to simply meet the doctor, I was kept waiting an hour beyond the appointment time. I left without seeing him and was recommended by the scheduler to book an appointment first thing in the morning because he "tends to get backed up during the day." Did so, and after waiting 40 minutes beyond the scheduled time for that second early morning appointment, I again left, never to return.

The wait times are lengthy. Waiting 20 to 30 minutes in the patient treatment room every time I go there is very uncomfortable and I don’t like that.

Doctor Byman and the staff are always friendly and care about their patients. Dr Byman has been our family doctor for over ten years. When we are feeling bad it is comforting to know we are in good hands and will be seen in a timely manner.

My visit to see Dr. Byman was to update prescriptions. He was knowledgeable and provided me with all I needed. The office changed some appointment dates to accommodate my travel schedule. I later had to change a hard copy prescription to mail order. Dr. Byman made that change quickly for me. I was very satisfied with this visit.

Dr. Byman has been our family doctor for well over 10 years. He’s wonderful. He listens and asks questions to really make sure he understands the issues you’re having. He is also really great about following up. Our family has been truly blessed to have him. In fact, we moved to Suffolk (far west side) and decided to change doctor because seeing Dr. Byman meant an hour drive both ways. Took over a month to schedule first appointment to meet Dr. Byman as a new patient. Arrived 20 minutes early as requested to complete paperwork, then kept waiting 10 minutes for a nurse/assistant to meet with me, which she then did for another 10 minutes, and then I waited... for an hour without the doctor seeing me. I had to leave for another appointment and was then told to reschedule, which mistakenly I did. I'd asked if he always keeps patients waiting and was told by the scheduler he does run behind during the day so that I should make my appointment first thing in the morning. Apparently 9 am isn't any better, as I waited another 10 minutes after my appointment time for someone to greet me and then sat waiting 40 more minutes after the appointment time for the doctor at which point I left (again). Needless to say, I'll be seeking my primary medical care elsewhere since that appears to be his m.o.

Dr. Byman has been very responsive to all my health questions and needs. He was proactive in getting a handle on my pre-diabetes. Sent me to 3 nights of school at the hospital. Since that initial diagnosis I’ve have lowered my A1C to 5.8. He has also been been proactive when he feels the need for me to see a specialist. I have nothing but good experiences with Dr. Byman.

Support a 5 star review. I am fortunate to have Dr. Byman as my primary care doctor. Asks the right questions, listens well, and explains any medical procedure I may need. Have full confidence in his medical knowledge and experience to ensure I receive top quality care.

I have nothing bad to say. While I've seen most doctors do telehealth visits I appreciate being face to face with my doctor.

When I first moved to the beach area, I started seeing a PCP recommended to me by a coworker and it wasn’t a very good experience. I found Dr. Byman by chance, and he has been the best doctor the last several years. He is always willing to hear out my ailments and determine a course of action with me. He spends as much time as needed, and is never in a rush to leave. I trust him with any member of my family!

Tele-med visit. First time trying video appt. Very easy. Have been a patient of Dr. Byman for over 10 years. He gives you plenty of time, great listener, open to alternative therapies (CBD, dry needling)--probably the best PCP I've encountered.

I came to Dr due to a place on neck due to tooth ache. i was impressed that he reviewed my chart and ask questions. I am thankful to have been seen in person and received a prescription for medication.

The whole “new” patient process was super quick and went very smooth. I was seen on time and not rushed at all. He made sure that all my questions were answered and had good conversation throughout the entire visit.

I agree with the 5-star reviews. He is easy to talk to and resolve matters. Has some recommendations out of the mainstream that worked- an example is topical medications.

I was scheduled for a periodic checkup. Although many of my other appointments had been canceled due up the isolation suggestions, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, he and his entire staff were following the prescribed safety protocols to the letter. I felt very comfortable that I would not be risking infection.

I have been a patient of Dr. Byman’s for years now. He is kind, caring, and takes the time to really listen to his patients. I never feel like he’s rushing to get me in/out and takes his time to make sure I understand everything he recommends. I was actually able to convince my husband (who NEVER goes to the Dr) to see Dr. Byman and he credits him with giving him the final push he needed to start getting his health under control (and losing over 150lbs). I’d recommend Dr Byman to anyone.
