Dr. Bunting was incredibly attentive, patient and professional when going through the process of seeing my young daughter in the office and then deciding to move forward with surgery. I felt so comfortable with him as a provider, I returned for an issue I was having myself recently and again had a positive experience.

Dr. Bunting is an absolutely amazing physician! I called his office and he met me on an early morning to remove a splat ball from my sons ear! He was so professional and caring! My son felt at ease the entire time. Thank you Dr. Bunting for your compassionate care for my son!

I have been going to Dr Bunting's office for years! My kids and I have had deviated septum adenoids tonsils ear tubes and allergy issues all treated by Dr Buntings office. It's always been a positive experience! From a very responsive office, to friendly staff. We have been extremely pleased with our results! Dr Bunting himself addressed all my concerns and questions. I highly recommend Dr Bunting! I have a six week old who had weezing/squeaky breathing constantly through out day and night. After multiple trips to our pediatricians office l knew there was more that needed to be done. I scheduled with Dr Bunting after he came highly recommended to me. Taylor greeted me at the counter and thoroughly went over everything I needed to fill out, she was very helpful. They took us back right on time. Dr came in and listened to all my concerns he said it was best that we do a throat scope to rule everything out. I was very nervous, He was very gentle and let me keep Ridge in my arms the whole time. It was over in 20 seconds. He explained that he has what is called laryngomalacia which makes his airway very floppy. Luckily our case is mild and won’t require surgery at this time. He answered all my worried mom questions, provided us with tips on how to better handle this.. and told us to let us know if we needed anything before our follow up. Thank you Dr B

Spent close to $10k with Dr. Bunting trying to diagnose a sinus issue. I went in probably once a month for 2 years. Dr. Bunting spent almost no time with me, never listened to my symptoms and just simply recommended surgery. I continued to go into his office with no relief of symptoms whatsoever. I finally decided to move forward with surgery. After surgery the symptoms were the same or worse so I decided to go to a different doctor. Once my new doctor looked at me he immediately knew what was going on and informed me that the surgery actually made it worse not better. I NEVER told Dr. Bunting that I was having trouble breathing, and the first thing he said to me after surgery was “you should be able to breathe so much better now”. He obviously had no concern for me as a person or my health. He only saw dollar signs. I wouldn’t recommend this “doctor” to anyone. We do not have traditional insurance(we have a medical share program). I asked for an itemized bill of my services for the day as I was paying cash. A lot of cash. They told me that it would take a couple weeks to get the statement ready, even though it was a scheduled allergy testing. They took the cash and said they do not offer cash paying, no insurance discounts. Unfortunately, due to that, we will have to find an ENT that does. Dr. Bunting is an excellent surgeon! He has performed a total of 3 T-tube ear placements in hospital, and the surgical removal of our child's Adenoids (all between ages 7- 26 mos. old). I only wish Dr. Bunting had a better disposition when it came to his lack of bedside manner. He usually seems very distracted and rushed. I've only spoken to Dr. Bunting in one brief initial consultation, and before every Surgery. His P.A.'s, 'Mark Manning' and 'Tanile' have always seen us Post-op, and for any follow-up appts. Both P.A.'s are very caring (unlike Dr. Bunting's disconnected attitude), I highly recommend them! Mark Manning is quick during the visits, but is quirky and funny. Tanile takes a more thorough approach, and is a little less talkative. Both providers are great with children! In the past 2.5 years we've attended dozens of appts. at Mid-Kansas ENT, both at East & West locations. They're a super-busy facility, so scheduling can be a nightmare. I've waited on hold for over 20 min. just to make an appt. Once you're checked-in for your appt. you see your Doctor quickly. So, make sure to arrive to the office On Time. Overall I feel they do a pretty good job! Their front office staff at the East location (N. Webb Rd.) can come off as pretty rude most days. The West side (Ridge Rd.) local, I absolutely love Tanile's nurse, she's so friendly and upbeat. Dr. Bunting is an excellent surgeon! Love Dr Bunting and his staff. Felt a little insecure about not being able to talk to someone after hours. I had surgery yesterday and found out I'm allergic to the antibiotics he prescribed. So I've tried the physicians exchange and their office line to find a number. Noone has an after hours or Dr on call number. Love them, but not feeling good about noone available for stuff like this. I saw Dr Bunting on a referral and I cannot say enough good things; he and his staff made me feel at ease and talked to me like a person; they answered my questions and were so kind and helpful; they are marvelous and I highly recommend

Absolutely amazing doctor.!! Highly recommend from several happy customers. I was tired of fighting sever sinus issues for months and months. First visit, completed a endoscopy and a head CT. “Let’s get you in for a sinus surgery to get you opened up”. He didn’t push meds on me for months like most allergy doctors do. He listened to my complaints on my past sinus issues and concurred that I could benefit from a sinus surgery. Excellent doctor.!!!!!! Highly recommend.

Dr. Bunting did my sinus surgery, my husband’s sinus surgery, my son’s ear tubes and I just had my tonsils taken out at the age of 38. Dr. Bunting always returned our call quickly during after hours. He is very good at what he does and I recommend him to everyone for an ENT! He has excellent bedside manners.

My visit to have surgery was not impressive. I saw the Doctor 1 minute before surgery; did not see him after surgery; and am now told I wont see him on my return appointment for my check up. So where is the day when we had doctor-patient care? It is gone.

I had experienced 2 fine-needle biopsies to examine nodules on my thyroid, three months apart. Both were indeterminate, so I asked him for counsel on the disadvantages of removing the whole gland surgically. Dr. Bunting explained consequences and risks, and I decided, with his agreement, to have it removed. The results have been all I could have hoped for.

Rude staff

He is the only dr that listened and sent me to a rheumatologist to be tested for Sjogrens. He did a lip biopsy to confirm it on a Wed afternoon and called me first thing that Friday morning with results. I will always be grateful. Highly recommend. Best ENT in the state, definitely.

As a surgeon Dr Bunting is top notch. As for the follow up after wards the office sucks. I had my thyroid removed in Jan. and after my follow up appointment, I havent heard anymore from the staff since March. I explained my concerns to his staff and was told they would get back to me. Havent heard a word.

I had a great visit and subsequent surgery. I had asked many friends who they recommend, some of these were nurses and physicians, and they overwhelmingly recommended Dr Bunting.

Zero since of urgency if you have intellectual disabilities and have Medicare and Medicaid . This will be the third time my son has had to go to this practice. This will be the last! The Staff and Dr Bunting have NO since of urgency, NO Matter what your Pain level is; They DON'T CARE!!! Called and My son can only see a PA not a doctor. SO When does a PA have the same experience as a Doctor! Not once have they offered to work my son in, due to his pain level and being an existing patient!

Had thyroid removed because had suspicious biopsy, & he said it “needed to come out”. He came highly recommended by many other nurse friends. I did not want to remove thyroid, & should have gotten a second opinion. (ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!) To make a long story short, their pathologist missed the cancer the first time, looked again, and saw it. I had them send to Cleveland & there was cancer on both sides of thyroid. When he did the surgery, he never even took & checked any lymph nodes.

Dr. Bunting was great. Had a tonsillectomy last Thursday, husband called him at 6:00 this morning because I was bleeding. Bunting had me back in to be prepped for getting re-caterized by 7. I was emotional, scared and feeling defeated, but Bunting and his team made me feel SO much better. Thanks, Doc!

*Disclaimer: I never got a chance to meet with Dr Bunting so he may be wonderful - his staff is not. My daughter was getting strep throat pretty regularly so her PCP recommended we see an ENT about getting her tonsils/adenoids removed. We initially went to Dr Bunting's office. I was less than impressed with his PA's examination, recommendations, demeanor, etc. I talked to her PCP about the ENT PA's suggestions and the PCP did not agree and told me to get a second option. I reached out to other mom's and was referred to Dr Sunderland. We met with him on the initial appointment. He made my daughter feel very comfortable, he answered all my questions about which method he used to do the procedure, he did a much more thorough exam than the previous PA had done. His pre-op and post-op staff were comforting the day of the procedure. Dr. Bunting is an excellent ENT physician. He has treated my son and I both. I highly recommend him!

Not only did Dr. Bunting correct my deviated septum he also removed a growth from my father's ear. When the biopsy came back from that growth and it was cancerous Dr. Bunting called us personally to give us the news about the cancer. In the end he was able to remove all the cancer cells and my father is doing very well and I can breath! Thank You Dr. Bunting!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! I made an appointment 2 months in advance for my son. We show up for the appointment and am told that Dr. Bunting is not in the office. The receptionist said that their office tried calling me but my voice mail was full. THEY TRIED CALLING ME 1 TIME. I guess the patients of Dr. Buntings are only numbers to him because his office showed absolutely NO care for my family. FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR THAT CARES FOR THEIR PATIENTS. Great doctor, but billing manager will stand in your way of getting medical treatment, regardless of your pain level. So make sure you keep up on all bills regardless, that you are thousands of dollars in debt for having your sickies year yet...

A no nonsense all business all the time professional that looked at addressing the root causes for a better final outcome. Surgically repaired a lifelong sinus issue superbly. Looked at allergies that were causing upper respiratory infections most of my life and put me on a cure path that within a month has already proved to be a life changing experience in breathing freely for the first time ever.
