Dr. Akan treated me for chronic migraines. He not only fixed my migraines but took the time to talk with me and explain how I could prevent them. He helped ease my anxiety and I am finally migraine free after years of suffering. I am so grateful.

Extremely rude, loud and unprofessional. A doctor should not be complaining about his fellow doctors while in my appointment. If he doesn’t like his co workers I don’t need to know about it. I will not be returning. Too many negative experiences with this Dr. He seems extremely angry all of the time and he reflects poorly on Community Hospital.

Do not go to this doctor. Not only did I have to hunt down my results after a week of having my EEG but I received a very vague email stating my EEG was abnormal and placed me on meds, he didnt have the courtesy to call me and go over the results or what this pill is supposed to do for me, the risks involved etc. I requested he calls me to go over it and it has been about 4 days and I have yet to hear back from him or his office.
