Dr. Dyer has amazing energy that put me at ease as he explained everything to me. He showed me my MRI and the X-rays and explained how he wouldn't suggest surgery at this time. His staff is supportive, responsive and understanding. It's no fun having back issues, but I am so grateful to have Dr. Dryer and his team on my side. Highly recommend

I have been a patient of Dr. Dyer's for quite a few years. He corrected a botched surgery from another surgeon many years ago. I knew at that time, going forward he would be the back doctor for me. Easy to talk to, actually listens. Explains his recommendation and the options available. I live 40 miles from his office but have found that his name and impressive reputation is known by many in my area. Have and would recommend him to others.

Having recently retired from my career as a neurosurgeon, my wife and I re-located to Charlotte. The spinal condition that I have been living with for years worsened requiring a spinal fusion. I was very fortunate to meet Dr. Dyer through a friend’s referral and have been very impressed with him and his staff. His care and compassion and attention to detail have been outstanding. I am now 10 weeks post-fusion with complete resolution of my symptoms and next to no discomfort and back to my normal life. I cannot recommend him more highly.

Dr. Dyer asks probing questions aimed at diagnosing conditions and evaluating post-op progress and explains his opinions clearly. I’ve consulted him twice in a 10-year period on different spinal problems, one requiring surgery and one not, receiving excellent advice each time which led to complete healing. I have every confidence in his judgment and ability should I have spinal issues as I close in on 70.

I have had nothing but great things to say about dr dyer and his staff. Don’t have to wait too long for the appts. Staff is always helpful when I call. He is very straight forward. My surgery went great and I am still recovering at home but I can’t believe how much better I feel already.

Dr. Dyer was personable and took the time to really listen and then review my records and films. He was reassuring as to next steps and alleviated many concerns l had over conflicting diagnoses l had eceived. Very pleased.

Dr. Dyer is a very skilled surgeon as well as a thoughtful and caring one. My spinal fusion of the lower back was done in January and I was cleared to play tennis again four months later. It was a real game changer for me, having been in pain for nearly 10 years. He explained the procedure to me very thoroughly as well as what to expect post-operatively. The surgery was a success. I am a 71 year old female. I would recommend him to anyone.

Great Dr! Couldn’t ask for better!

I had a very serious accident in February of this year. I was in ICU of Atrium Main for aproximately 2 weeks. Dr. Dyer performed needed surgery 3 days after the accident. If it was not for his care and concern for my well being I don't know what the outcome might have been.. I go to Dr. Dyer for follow up visits when needed. I would highly reccomend the doctor.

I highly reccommend Dr. Dyer for back and spinal issues. After years of lower back pain, sometimes debilitating, Dr. Dyer skillfully performed a laminectomy, discectomy and fusion of my L4-L5 vertebrae and freed me completely of my lower back and sciatica pain. I am forever grateful to him for working me into his busy schedule and focusing on what was needed to give me my life back. Thanks Doc!

Dr Dyer has been my wife Mary Ann and my doctor for a long time treating our back problems when needed. He is an excellent doctor. Not only does he have many years of experience and is very knowledgeable in the neurosurgery field but he is also a very kind and compassionate person.

Dr. Dyer performed a Chiari 1 decompression surgery on me 9/2018. His skill, bedside manor and Asst. PA Larry were amazing. It is a very serious diagnosis. Dr. Dyer explained all options, expectations, risks clearly. He helped me make an informed decision. During recovery he was patient and kind at all appointments. I highly recommend Dr.Dyer. He usually runs late on appointments, but when you are with him you understand why. He is thorouh and doesn’t rush you out. All questions answered always.
