My primary physician sent the office a referral to his office in December. I called twice in January to follow up. Finally at the end of January they called and scheduled an appointment for mid-may. A month later they called and needed to reschedule because he wasn't going to be in the office. They postponed my appointment two weeks. Soon after they called again because he wasn't going to be in the office. This time, their first available appointment was mid-august. I would not recommend him.

I had the complete opposite experience with this doctor. He explained nothing, he has done nothing, his staff is unbelievably rude. The problems/issues that I originally went to see him about still persist. Every time I ask him a question I get a shoulder shrug. I know have to go all the way to Ann Arbor to get decent medical care.

Dr. Javier practices in East Lansing, MI now. I was very impressed by his knowledge and expertise. Dr. Javier made me feel very comfortable and explained things in detail. He has a great sense of humor as well. I am not one to normally write reviews, however I was highly impressed with the character and professionalism of Dr. Javier, that I felt the importance to write about it.

HORRIBLE endocrinologist!! I presented to him on my very first visit with hyponatremia (very low sodium levels) and very low TSH (0.04), severe dehydration and a 10 pound weight loss in one week. I brought medical records with me, showing that I had a history of Hashimoto's thyroiditis and untreated secondary adrenal insufficiency, which he refused to look at, and he refused to help me out of adrenal crisis. He literally saw me for 5 minutes because the waiting room was packed with people and there was a line down the hallway of people waiting to schedule their next appointment. Had to go back to my PCP for glucocorticoids (she saved my life). But he billed my insurance company $310 for a "Level 4 New Patient Visit, typically 45 minutes." He doesn't care about his patients at all. All he cares about is getting as many patients in and out of there as possible and upcoding all this services. Find another endocrinologist.
