Emmanuel Chukwelo Edoka

I have not had a doctor like him in many years. He takes his time to listen to you to capture everything that you are telling him. However, he is very observant and recognizes all of the patient symptoms and discuss the issues with you before he meticulously provides you with a plan of action. He does not treat you like an assembly line patient, in one size fits all. The level of care that I received was above and beyond. I am one happy old lady!

He was patient, thorough and attentive to details. He shows he really cares about the patient. His sense of human touch is personal and welcoming.

Dr Edoka spends the time to get to know his patients. If you want great coverage and referrals he is the doctor for you.

Please, do not waste your time and energy. I have never been so disrespected. Doctor/Staff so unprofessional. Sad

Dr Edoka has been my physician for at least 20 years! He is the BEST!

Waited over 2.5 hours to see the doctor, dirty facilities, unprofessional staff, no regard for patient privacy, the doctor was sick, would not recommend.

Dr. Edoka is excellent, he is very patient and explain everything thoroughly every single time. He has a good personality, he is kind, and he try to know his patient. However the only downside is his wait time is extremely weird. Usually it is at least more than 1 hour even you have appointment and be there early. I think it is because he explains everything to every patient? but time is still a problem, especially if the patient still need to go to work afterward. If the wait time can be limited to at most 30 mins wait, then I will make it 5 stars review. Yesterday was different, we went there and we were seen in 15 mins! That was the first time, and I hope this will continue, I will update next time! -----updated 12/15/2019----- The wait time has been improved, also I tried to get the very first appt in the morning, maybe that helps. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Edoka for nearly a decade. He’s one of the finest family doctors in Austin, and has a spectacular bedside manner.

Dr Emmanuel Edoka & his team are welcoming and friendly. Dr Edoka is very knowledgeable and relevant. He is compassionate and caring. He is a problem solver. I’m so grateful he is my doctor. I highly recommend him and his team. You will be in good hands coming to see Dr Edoka.

Dr. Edoka is the best doctor! Seriously, as a Nurse Practitioner myself, I have worked with many physician and Dr. Edoka deserves an award for practicing the art of medicine alongside the amount he truly cares for his patients.

I waited in the waiting room for 30 minutes, before being called to the back room to wait over an hour for the doctor to come in. This is ridiculous. No complaints with the doctor, but I won't be coming back for someone who has such a disregard for my time.

My appointment was at 9:30am. It is 10:40am still waiting fir them to call me. I wonder if he only has one nurse back there. I never waited that long before. ???? Then waited another hour in the room when they call me. ????

Finally, a doctor who actually takes the time to listen to what his patients have to say. I am paraplegic after a car crash so my symptoms are very subtle since I cannot feel from my chest down. Dr. Edoka is my go to guy even though I live in New Braunfels it's worth the hour and a half trip!

This has been the best hands down doctor My myself and family has gone to. I always feel the dr rush and never care about patients. I have been a patient of Dr Edoka for years now. He is an Awesome doctor. Listens and cares very well. But this new staff he has is very unprofessional when it comes to answering the phones. The send you to voicemail and don't return your call. When someone do finally answer the phone, they just put you on hold and don't asked and leave you on hold for over 3 minutes, Very UNPROFESSIONAL... They never come back to the phone and it then send you to the voicemail, which they never return you phone call.
