Dr. Emad Khaleeli

This review is not based on his medical background and I am not a patient of his. Instead it is based off of his character and what I witnessed tonight during a visit to urgent care. I came to the urgent care located in the same lobby his practice is in and had the wonderful (sarcasm) privilege of witnessing how he treats people. He came in screaming, belittling, and demanding the Urgent Care take their sign down… I didn’t get the full details, but just sitting there witnessing his interaction with the pour woman at the counter made me so angry. No one, absolutely no one deserves to be spoken to in that manner. The woman he was berating was nothing but sweet, calm, and tried de-escalating the situation. Dr. Khaleeli did not stop though and persisted on tearing into her. Allow this to be a reminder that eyes and ears are everywhere. You represented yourself in such a horrible way that I will be going out of my way to tell people to not be seen by you. Seeing how you treated that poor woman tonight and reading reviews on how you treat others was enough for me. Your profession is to care for others, I suggest you do some self reflecting to remember what that truly means.

This review is long overdue My mom is a patient of Dr Khaleeli he genuinely cares about his patients and takes his time with you and makes sure all of your questions/ concerns are answered before leaving his office! Highly recommended

Dr Emad Khaleeli has been my cardiologist since April 2004. Dr Emad has given me excellent medical treatment & advice over the years. I go to him for his expertise pertaining to my heart situations. I do not go there for any advice on decorating. If a ceiling panel bothers someone, go to Home Depot and ask them to analysis your EKG or Echo. When I needed guidance on my various heart issues, and there has been more than a few, he has been there for me. In fact, I have popped into his office at times without an appointment when I have felt bad, and he was there for me. He was nice enough and dedicated enough to see me without an appointment within a short period of time. Visit not guaranteed though. Before my second aortic value replacement, when I was a little concerned about the upcoming surgery, he walked with me, and talked with, me on his way to the hospital, about the upcoming issues and my concerns, and he gave me direction, guidance, and comfort. He once again helped at the time. He takes excess time with his patients, to fully handled their needs. Note that with others, I felt like sometimes I was on the clock, not having enough time on solving and completing the current issue or going to the next step. Time, like a lawyer, is a doctor’s only major asset. If he charges someone 50 dollars for a missed appointment, as it happened to me once, so be it. I feel like I got off cheap. If it were me, and someone wasted my time, I would probably want more coin in today’s environment. Note that my dentist charges up to $100 for a missed appointment. It is a common practice. Time is money. Also, if it takes a little time to contact doctor Khaleel’s office on the phone, cut him some slack, as he does have a small, cozy, independent, office, with no financial backing of a huge hospital. Note that I once called the Los Angeles County Tax Assessor office at 3:00 PM and was put on hold for 2 hours. Then at 5:00 PM, they said that they were closed and to call back tomorrow. And their budget is in the 100’s of millions of dollars, and they cannot even answer the phone with a budget like that. Government? Doctor Khaleeli cares about his patients. The oath that he took as a doctor, I truly believe, is being carried out and practiced on all his patients each and every day, even if some feels otherwise. He is a doctor who doesn’t just practice medicine for the money but to help and educate his patients for a long life. It is a doctor patient relationship. The doctor is holding up his own, now the patients need to step up or we will lose one of the best doctors ever. I am grateful that he is my doctor. If you need a cardiologist, he is your go to guy. Dr. Khaleeli is a doctor that truly cares about his patients. He's very knowledgeable, thorough, and answers all my questions (and even the ones I didn't think to ask). I'm blessed to have found such a great doctor!

I have been seeing Dr. Khaleeli for 1 year now. He takes the time to discuss things with you, answers any questions. He is very considerate of my personal time, utilizing my primary physicians blood test results instead of requiring me to take a separate blood test for him to review. He thoroughly reviews the blood test results.

Dr. Emad Khaleeli has been my Cardiologist for a number of years. He has been very attentive to my physical being through the years and I have 100% faith in his caring for my health. Dr. Khaleeli has been the cardiologist for my family for years. After a recent billing/appointment dispute I decided that I'd find a more qualified cardiologist who was in the know in regards to new medical heart research and practices. In the middle of the COVID19 pandemic he refused to provide the results of an EKG exam over the phone. I told him I'd be more comfortable if I didn't have to come into his office because of the Virus. Instead he charged me $50 for a missed appointment fee (I called the day before to let him know I wouldn't be coming in) If you are looking for a doctor who makes it as difficult as possible to get in contact with then Dr. Khaleelli is perfect for you. He has no email address, his office rarely answers when you call and when you are done with your appointment you can only pay him in cash or check. He doesn't take debit or credit card as payment. This is an absolutely top notch doctor. Very professional. Very empathetic. Very communicative. He provides a very comprehensive e plantation of all aspects of my condition and his treatment plan. I can’t say enough good things about him. I recommend him to my relatives and friends.

Dr. Khaleeli is an intelligent and caring doctor who takes the time to sit with his patients to fully understand their symptoms, both physically and emotionally. Good doc. to work with

I was referred to Dr. Khaleeli, and had been going to him for the past couple of years. Getting a hold of someone became a nightmare. I often left voicemails and received no return calls. Recently, I decided to change doctors which upset Dr. Khaleeli. He called me this morning, and told me he wouldn’t be sending my records over to my new doctor until I paid him a no show fee from 2016. I asked how that could be, I’ve been to his office a couple of times since then and was never told about this fee. All of a sudden I decide to change doctors, and I owe something? He threatened with sending me to collections, and refused to release my records until I paid for this made up fee which has never come up. Anytime I needed to cancel an appointment, no one answered and I left voicemails. And this was only brought to my attention when I decided to take my business elsewhere.
