Everyone is so pleasant. Went out of their way to remove my cyst on the first visit rather than making me schedule another appointment. Almost make me look forward to more surgery (almost). :)

Dr. Klause was fantastic! I was an Urgent case. She got me in quickly, listened to all my concerns, explained everything to me, contacted other doctors directly with my case and worked to schedule me ASAP. Superb bedside manors!

Recently I had a large lump removed from behind my ear at the base of the neck. Dr. Klause performed the surgery and did an excellent job. I do have a scar, but many people have commented on how good I healed. My only wish is that the Surgical Center and Dr. Klause would have had better chains of communication. Explained everything so it was easy to understand; made me feel comfortable. Completed the procedure successfully.

I have been under Dr. Klause’s care for over 15 years. She has performed multiple surgeries of different types along with many outpatient procedures done in her office. Most if not all my procedures have been on the high end on the pain scale and I could always count on her to act with professionalism, care and compassion. I have never experienced the kind of care she gives from any other physician in my medical history that has been long and complex. She is known in my family as a guardian angel. I honestly don’t know what I would have done with my health care if it wasn’t for her. She is concise in her explanations and plans for direction to rectify the problems along with thorough follow up procedures to cure the ailments. In my opinion, the best Dr. on the planet. Dr. Klause was the fourth doctor to see me on my issue. With no waiting time, I was quickly and accurately diagnosed and treated. Dr Klause acted from a wealth of experience, was professional, treated me without pain and with gentle kindness. The staff and nurses were sensitive and connected. The Dr was great and I appreciate the time she took with me. Dr. told me she would call in RX if I did not have more of them at home. Called 9 (nine) times the following day starting at 10am (did not call between 10-2 when closed) to ask office to call in RX. Office never picked up once in an 8 hour day and they tell you not to leave a message on their machine. Spoke to extremely unprofessional people twice at the answering service. Answering service says 1. Try again in 20 minutes. 2. Refuses to take ANY messages (including cancelation) unless emergency. 3. They say "Dr's office" when they answer the phone instead of exchange or answering service (Leads you to believe you are speaking with the office.) (Unacceptable since I managed a hospital based answering service for 15 years, truly shocked at their unprofessionalism) Concerned that if I had a procedure or urgent (not emergency) issues there is no way to talk to anybody. Also, texted office per online info & sent email with no response. I work for a living and just don't have time to "call back every 20 minutes" as suggested by the answering service. I did manage to get 9 calls in today but not one was picked up. Won't do it again tomorrow. The Dr was great and I appreciate the time she took with me. I loved Dr. Klause and wanted to give a 5 star review, but I ended having to chose another Doctor. Getting the appointment and seeing Dr. Klause was very easy. She was very personable, knowledgeable, and was able to clearly explain everything to me. I loved her personality and attitude. The problem was getting through to the staff to schedule an appointment for my hernia surgery. I literally took me a week of calling and having to talk to an answering service to actually be able to talk to the person responsible of scheduling my hernia surgery. It took another week for the staff to figure out what my out of pocket costs would be for the surgery and surgery room. Then I had to shop around for surgery rooms that would be more affordable and less cost to me. etc. etc. But the time I got the final pricing, I was so frustrated that I went with another Doctor in Newport Beach. To reiterate, I really liked Dr. Klause, but to finally get a hold of the right person on her staff and then the process thereafter to schedule a surgery was so cumbersome, that I moved on. There are many great hernia surgery doctors in Orange County, so my advice is, make sure that patients will be able to actually talk to someone on your staff, other than people in a calling center. Amazing,... absolutely amazing. If 5 stars is what a coffee shop gets for a great cup of coffee the hands down my experience is 5 trillion stars. Dr Elvira Klause and her team of stars in conjunction with mission hospital made this extremely effortless. I had a inguinal ×2 and umbilical hernia operation at 8am today and home by 1:00, I was told to get a ride home so I won't discuss my short commute. I wrote a will, chose a burrial plot and kissed my loved ones goodbye to find out this is easier and less evasive/ painful then getting a cavity filled. It 4pm now and NO pain meds,(I was prescribed some and not trying to be tough) not even Tylenol. I only share all of this because your probably skeptical and have been putting this off for a long time like I have. For the procedure they performed today I couldn't imagine it getting any easier and could never thank Dr. Klause and her staff enough. Thank you so very much...!! Amazing,... absolutely amazing. Had Dr Elvira Klause do robotic inguinal surgery today at 7 am. Perfect! Went to golf club walked around with buddies…did not swing…less pain than with hernia and no pain pills needed! She has the touch and the skill to do it right! Wow…could not be happier as I dreaded surgery. Never felt a thing…modern robotic surgery is the way to go! Dr. Krause has always been the most caring and helpful doctor. She performed my surgery 3 years ago and when I was worried the issue may be coming back she was able to talk me through it and give me peace of mind! The office staff is friendly and helpful and I always feel welcome there!

Everyone we interacted with was very friendly & professional. Dr. Klause explained everything very thoroughly & my son was able to book his surgery immediately!

The front office was very accommodating and professional. Dr. Klause was very nice and technically savvy in her diagnosis. Better than my primary by far. Will recommend her my friends and family.

So far best doctor office visit. Dr Klause helped me like no doctor before (3 different doctors with different diagnosis...) I higly recommend dr Klause, she changed my life for better.

Dr. Klause and her staff performed above and beyond my expectations. Dr. Klause was very thorough. She concentrated on making sure that I understood everything and making sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend them to anyone, and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

You could not ask for a better combination of skill and competence with kindness and good bedside manner than you get with Dr. Klause. She carefully listens to the patient and their concerns, and she provides thorough information about the issues, options for resolution, and the pros and cons of various treatments. I never felt she glazed over any details, I never felt rushed out of her office, and the information she provided has always been realistic and tailored to the patient's real-life needs. It's clear that she actually cares deeply about each patient. She also has a magical way of making patients feel comfortable even in an inherently awkward medical treatment situation. Amazing doctor. She probably saved my leg from being cut off. I had a nasty infection that I let get worse. She addressed immediately! I was on the table almost as soon as she saw the wound.

Elvira Klause was the best doctor! I have never had a procedure before and to say the least I was very anxious. Dr. Klause explained exactly how procedure day would go, she was quick, gave me medication prior to the procedure to help me relax, talked me through the whole procedure, and assured me the biopsy would come back negative. I was disappointed to learn on the morning of my hernia surgery, while laying on the surgical bed with the IV in place, that my insurance did not approve of the robotic procedure. It would seem that someone should have informed me well before the surgery day. I instead went through the more painful and longer recovery traditional hernia surgery. However, the surgery seems to have been a success. But it has been one month after and I am still numb in the surgical wound area. I am not sure whether this is normal. Cheers.
