I have been seeing Dr.Gatcia for several years now. He treats my Lupus symptoms. Bc of Mr condition I have se real comorbidities and see 6 other specialist as well. Dr. Garcia is the best! Highly experienced, great listener, but needs to fire entire staff. Need more mature professional staff. Young boy with tattoos and receptionist are horrible. Dr. García is great, his staff however are a nightmare. Do not expect anyone to answer the phone EVER, and god forbid you need any refills or assistance with insurance because you will absolutely be going in circles with them. They are rude, completely incompetent in doing the slightest task and will beat around the bush if anything is required. I hate to say that I wish he would clean house and hire better staff but it is absolutely necessary. Dr. García is great, his staff however are a nightmare. I have been a patient of Dr. Garcia for over 10 year but, this year I had to get 5 injections on my knees. Unfortunately, I'm a fully working professional and the only time I had to get them was between 12 and 1 pm which is the time all assistants go to lunch. I will suggest if there is a reason why they don't have different schedule lunches to accommodate full time working people. Worst experience of my moms life in this place. They made her cry of anger the way she was treated. Dont recomend this place to no one.

Dr.Garcia is a very professional and experienced Dr. I have been seeing Dr Garcia for a few years usually have very early visits and I have been seen within 15 minutes and he takes the time to talk and exam me about my problems I highly recommend Dr.Garcia

Don't go. Find a different rheumatologist. I was scheduled for an appointment at 2:15. When i arrived the receptionist first said i didn't have an appointment that day. And asked me if i was sure it was there. I told her that's what my referral said which she was holding in her hand. She then said, oh. Your appointment was at 10am. How did she go from no appointment to an appointment at 10??? My appointment was nevere scheduled at 10am. Someone changed it and never notified me. You get an appointment at a certain time, one of the ladies called you a day earlier to confirm appointment and when you get to the appointment, they tell you is one hour later .( the lobby is full of people) and you showed them proof of the time of the appointment and the lady seems to careless of the original time .

I haven't been seen yet, my General Practitioner referred me to his office. I'm yet to receive my appointment. I've called & called, noone seems to answer. Can't leave a message on the appointments or general questions because voicemail too full. I've even left messages on the billing department voicemail, and still nothing. i have been trying to call into the office to reschedule my appt for today 1.3.21 but have been unsuccessful. multiple issues with the office thus far, 1 system does not allow proper selection to area you are trying to reach (appointments for me). 2.get dropped call after trying to selecting appointments unsuccessful. 3. Voicemail is full and are not allowed to leave message to reschedule or return call. Worst customer service!!! My mother has been one of his patients for over 5 years. His staff is very inconsiderate and no sense of urgency when it comes to helping their patients. My mother has waited over a week for those lazy people to call in her prescription.(still waiting). Called the office several times and no answer and not able to leave message because mailbox was full, first of all what business doesn’t have an answering service. Finally got a hold of receptionist which was no help at all. She called again and no one answered. Just because seniors have medicare doesn’t mean they go in the back burner. You people make so much money from them and they should be taken care of. I have told my mother to please start looking for a different doctor because the staff at this place is the worst. I suffer from RA, was seen three months ago and still this office has not sent a Prior Authorization to my insurance, I’ve called multiple times to no avail. I’m in a lot of pain. They also had the nerve to call me to schedule a follow up appointment, simply terrible.

Dr. Garcia is great. But, his good work is hampered by grossly incompetent staff. Getting prescription refills is a nightmare. Special shout out to David, who claims he's "in charge" of refills, for particular bungling. He says he has sent prescription, then when it doesn't get refilled, changes to he can't send a refill. My experience with Doctor Garcia was good with him. The staff in the other hand could be a bit more professional. First phone calls need to be answered giving satisfactory answers concerns and needs that patient needs. Remember that your working in the medical field because you care for the need of patients. Sympathy is a quality that medical professionals have in them. You work with patients with extreme pain so sometimes it’s good when we hear that you care for the needs by giving satisfactory answers. One last suggestion the phone rings many times or when giving the options to different departments they don’t answer. As patients we would never have to wait long periods or attempt so many times to be able to get through and when leaving messages we are expected to hear from you all as courtesy and professionalism. Dr is good, appointment time is horrible. My husband has had pain to his hands for over a month and they couldn’t get him in to be seen. Then the nurse didn’t want to give me an appointment because I wasn’t authorized person in the chart. The staff is not well trained and he has too many patients and too many things going on in the office. The infusions take up priority because they make more money with that then treating patients with RA. I wish there were more RA specialists in The Valley. Dr is good, appointment time is horrible. Dr. Garcia and his associates are very professional and great arthritis doctors.

I accompanied my dad for a visit with Dr Garcia. We were attended to within 15 minutes of our appointment time. Dr Garcia spent AT LEAST 30 minutes of face to face time listening to our concerns (as you would expect from a specialist). He was very compassionate in the way that he addressed my dad and we did not feel the slightest bit rushed. My dad needed some labs, injections, and an x-ray following his visit with the doctor. His staff was efficient in getting those procedures done consecutively so that no time was spent waiting. Overall very pleased with the quality of care received at Dr Garcia’s office. Please answer the phone!

I have tried for 3 weeks to get an appointment. First the telephone for appointements rolls over to voice mail that mail box is full and it hangs up. So if you punch some other numbers and finnally get an answer they demand a referral. Then the doc will look at the referral and maybe you will get a call or not. Then you need an interview appointment before you can see the doctor but it will not be this month for the interview as we are all booked up. I went in person as well to get a release of medical records to send to my doc to fax to them. NO WAY. You have to be a patient first then you can request a form. It is a bad situation and the folks at the desk are rude and do not care about helping.

My son was in alot of pain nurses never called me back. Dr. Garcia probably wasn't aware that I had been calling since8 am to 430pm so my son had to deal with his pain

Dr. Garcia is a great doctor and I would highly recommend him. But if I could clean house, I would replace his staff.

Excellent Care Great Staff and Doctor

My Genocologist referred me to Dr. Garcia. Ever since than I have been coming for years. Awesome, nice and understanding, I like it because he sits down and explains everything to you. He is not in a rush like other Dr's. I will not change him and I hope he never retires. I highly recommend him you will be very happy I guarante you.

My mom was referred to this office to further exam possible arthritis amongst other issues. Obviously appointments can be a while before you’re seen , but luckily there was a cancellation 3 days from when we got the referral ???? front desk answered promptly. Once doctor came in , he made us feel extremely welcome! Great experience!

Dr. Garcia is good but the staff, especially the nurse is rude.

We saw this imposter 5 years ago on a referral for a lupus diagnosis. He ran bloodwork and said my wife didn’t have lupus! Over the last five years I have observed my wife suffer from many lupus symptoms such as mouth ulcers, nasal ulcers, eyelid ulcers, inflammation of lower extremities, fibromyalgia, arthritis, the lust goes on. He based her lupus diagnosis solely off a blood test! Yet we keep getting referrals to him! The first and only time we went to his office we waited 3 hours to see him. It seems his reputation is inflated!

I saw Ms Ruiz PA for this appointment but I absolutely love her, she is caring and patient and explains my bloodwork results thoroughly, I am extremely thankful I found some wonderful Drs that care. Thank you Dr Elvin Garcia and Ms Ruiz

Very unprofessional staff, can never seem to get a straight awnser, then they place you on hold while they "look into" the situation, and have The entire staff playing phone tag with you.

Been coming about 8 years always have different reasons why medication isnt working. Have not been able to control my ra. With the refferals they have sent me to specialist that have helped me more. Than this so called doctor's have helped me this past years.

The doctor is great but the staff is horrible and has been for years. They are rude and inconsiderate. The line is always busy when you call because they place patients on hold for long periods of time and never return to the phone. Wish I never had to deal with them!

Dr. Garcia is a very kind, considerate and dedicated doctor. He sat down and talked to me, so I understood everything. Love him!

Every single time my mother calls into the office she's put on hold and they never come back on the line. After 40 minutes, my mother hangs up. I've been on hold for 20 minutes so far and still waiting as this pertains to a prescription that they need to fax to my mother's insurance. my mom says Dr and staff is wonderful.. It's just that they always leave you hanging on the phone.

Dr Garcia himself is an excellent doctor goes into detail and helps you understand what you are going through! On the other hand his front desk staff is very rude and unprofessional

Doctor is friendly but they charged me 135 dollars for visit and xrays and 1 week later no results on test they did and i call 3 times they put you on hold and nobody answers bad customer service i would rate them a 1 star

I have been a patient of Dr.Garcia for 4 years. He is an angel in disguise, caring and compassionate. His office staff are polite, caring and tend to my needs on a timely manner. The medical staff are the best. They always offer to help me. My medications are always faxed to my pharmacy right away even before leaving his office after an appointment. May God bless him and his staff. I will recommend Dr. Garcia to other people who need a rheumatologist.

Dr is great, and so are the nurses. The front staff always mess up follow-up appts. If you call the office, the phone just keeps ringing, no one will answer. If they do answer, they leave you on hold for a long time (15-20 min). I gave it 2 stars because of lack of support from front staff.

There is really not another Doctor like him in the valley or even Texas I may add. He gives you very high quality health care and that's what the valley needs. I completely recommend him, and any wait we go through is definitely worth it.

I've seen Dr Elvin Garcia for about 10 yrs and he is great. He takes his time answering all questions and so does his Physician assistants PA... All staff are very friendly and the new office is great!! I would highly recommend their services to any new patients or anyone having joint aches or pain.

I have been treated by Dr. Garcia and his PA's since 2011. He diagnosed my lupus, fibromyalgia, Sjogren's syndrome and arthritis. The staff is uncaring, unsympathetic, and brusque. It is as if they do not understand every patient in that office is in some kind of pain. I go in for an appointment every 3 or 4 months and I never get the results of my bloodwork and when they do, it is 3 or 4 months old. Dr. Garcia is a nice man but sees way too many patients.

the service staff is the hardest to work with i have ever encountered. as a business owner, i can tell you right now that this doctor will go bankrupt because of his service office staff. sad sad sad. i will tell anybody that wishes to hear about the sad service that this offices gives. i will not recommend this doctor as his office staff has terrible service. they will not offer to help, i think they are just bleeding this doctor to death!!! bankruptcy is where he is headed.
