I recently went to Dr Raskin for a breast reduction after years of suffering from back and neck pain. It was something I had wanted to do since I was 18 but only recently worked up the courage. Dr. Raskin made it so easy! She and her team, as well as the staff at the surgical center, were incredibly caring, diligent, professional, precise, and cheerful (which went a long way with my nerves!) Thrilled is an understatement! I am a new patient of Dr. Elsa Raskind who is a plastic surgeon in Greenwich Connecticut. On February 12, 2021 I had a Tetra Coolpeel Laser treatment, which is a deep layer skin peel to improve the look and feel of the skin on my face and neck. Although I thought my facial skin looked good for a 59 year old woman, I have been bothered by many small white heads, dark circles, and fine lines which were under and around my eyes. I also had fine lines around my lips, a few small brown spots and enlarged pores on my face, and a faded scar on my right cheek from 13 stitches I received from an accident when I was a child. Ever the sceptic, I wanted my own untouched proof of the results of this treatment, so the morning of the procedure I took my own photos of my face and neck to compare with the final results. With Dr. Raskin's experience and expertise, the Tetra Coolpeel Laser treatment was quick and relatively painless. The doctor applied a local cream anesthetic, and I was given a sedative. The treatment took about an hour. Before I left the office I made a follow up appointment with the doctor for a week after the procedure. At first, my face was very red, and my eyes were swollen. After three days the eye swelling was gone and my face and neck began to peel. Each day as my face and neck skin continued to peel, I kept looking in the mirror (I have a 10X mirror) and saying to myself, I think my skin looks better, smoother and brighter. The morning of my follow up visit with Dr. Raskind I again took my own face and neck photos. I placed my before and after procedure photos side by side to compare the difference and I was very surprised and happy to see the difference in the look of my face and neck skin! My eyes were brighter, the white heads under my eyes were reduced, and my skin was tighter. The skin on my face, neck, and around my lips looked tighter & smoother, my brown spots and pores were reduced, and my scar was lighter! I kept looking at my before and after photos, comparing every imperfection, and although my skin doesn’t look like a woman who is thirty years old, it was a WOW! This procedure was something I had been interested in for over a decade, and finding Dr. Raskin was life changing! From an aesthetic perspective, I can't imagine a better outcome. The results look natural, and my posture and back pain have drastically improved. From a surgerical perspective, the procedure itself was outpatient and I experienced surprisingly little discomfort. I interviewed 3 plastic surgeons prior to deciding on Dr Raskin. She stood out for several reasons: first and foremost she listened to my concerns and provided a clear explanation of what to expect. Second she offered additional suggestions based on her assessment of what would enhance/ improve my appearance based on my concerns. I never felt like I was getting a " sales pitch " rather a very seasoned explanation. I felt very prepared for the procedure. Post op care was attentive. Dr Raskin is the best. Her and her staff is very proficient and professional. I had a breast reduction surgery that i am extremely happy with. Better breast than i had before and now i just did a tummy tuck and fixed my diastases recti and i am doing well post 3 days. She called and checked on me and she has a app if you have any questions she contacts you right away. I have recommended a couple of people to her that have made an consult appointment already. Dr. Raskin first saw me last year after a pretty bad bicycle accident. My face was badly scarred and modified in some places. In addition, debris, including teeth, was lodged in my face. Dr. Raskin carefully examined me and spoke to my other physicians. She was very sympathetic to my entire situation. After the initial consult and preparation, she completed the surgery. My follow-up visits included very specific instructions and products to help the healing/cosmetic process. Well, after one year, it's like the accident never happened. I have known Dr Raskin for several years. I had the pleasure of seeing her about 15 years ago originally and subsequently referred a family member to her for several injectable appointments and a blepharoplasty. She created an amazing outcome and truly has an eye for perfection and strives for it with each patient. I reached out to her for a consultation for myself after many years of contemplation and about 4 surgical consultation with other surgeons in NYC and NJ. Dr. Raskin deserves all of the plaudits and positive reviews that she gets and far more.  I came to Dr. to correct a terrible problem created by another plastic surgeon.  The former surgeon was a 'top' NYC plastic surgeon with all of the expected great ratings.  However, he left me with breast implants that quickly (within months) became rock hard and hideous.  He never advised that this was possible.  He demurred all conversation and denied any responsibility.  I went to Dr. Raskin in tears.  She performed truly miraculous work.  I have new breasts that have remained soft and 'real'.  Whereas before I had NO feeling in my breasts, after Dr. Raskin's surgery, I felt like my breasts were truly my own.  Again, I am not one to broadcast anything about anyone, let alone myself.  But Dr. Raskin deserves stellar recognition for her very fine work.  I have gone back to her many times for other problems and refurbishments.  Not only is she a talented surgeon, but she also does excellent work

I have/had asymmetric breasts...After 2 surgeons, 4 surgeries, and very discouraged, I booked a consultation with Dr Raskin. She was very gracious, attentive to my concerns, and gave me a realists perspective of what to expect. Honest, compassionate, and extremely understanding, she addressed my needs. She explained the pros and the cons, but must of all positive and confident she could improve what others tried to accomplish. End result, I am extremely happy with my new look. I had not so good experience with Doctor Elza Raskin... she did botox with is good have no complaints... but i did filler under my eyes to remove my dark circles, didn’t really work... got very black eyes with is ok, but after 2 weeks i went back hoping to do a retouch cause we were waiting to the bruise to go away... finally did go away and the dark was still there... and not retouch and she wants put different stuff amd charge me again... if i was told at beginning that need to pay the whole amount again after 2 weeks i would never did at all... cause money is very hard to make and I really feel disappointed cause she could at least charged me half or less for the different product, maybe i could do it... but really didn’t fixed the whole problem i had... only the botox was good... so never go back there again! I had Profound done with Dr. Raskin in February 2018. I was at the point my skin was a bit loose, but not enough to do a facelift. After the Profound treatment, I felt like the character in Benjamin Button by getting progressively younger-looking as the weeks went by. I wanted to keep this up so I just did the Profound again after 9 months in November. My goal is to do the Profound treatment every 6-9 months in order to avoid doing a facelift. This past year has been one of the most difficult in my life and Dr. Raskin is the person who turned it all around for me. I faced a 60 pound weight gain due to other medical issues and I could not see a light at the end of the tunnel no matter how hard I tried. The moment I met Dr. Raskin, I knew that I had been saved. I am extremely happy with the surgery that Dr. Raskin performed to give me back my more youthful neck and jawline. I now look like I did when I was 50 (and I’m 65) – exactly the results that I was looking for! Before deciding to go to Dr. Raskin, I consulted with a number of doctors. I made my decision based on Dr. Raskin’s approach to addressing my expressed needs, her caring and thoughtful manner, her patient and graciousness in answering the many (many!) questions that I had, her credentials, and the photos I saw of work she had performed. In addition, I appreciate how the office is run and Dr. Raskin’s accessibility both before and after the procedure. Much of this is in contrast to consults I had with other doctors. In getting four opinions I found some surgeons suggested what felt like an upsell, recommending procedures for things that I never said bothered me, which made me feel awful. There are really no words to describe my experience with Dr Raskin. I have had 4 surgeries over the past 5 years after being diagnosed with breast cancer and having a lumpectomy. I then had reconstructive surgery, but there were complications. I recently had a consultation with Dr. Raskin, who I was referred to by my previous surgeon. I immediately knew that she understood how I felt and she obviously saw how emotional I still was about the way I felt about myself, not looking normal. The care, concern and kindness overwhelmed me and now 2 weeks after my surgery I look like myself again. Shortly after making the decision to have a mastectomy and reconstruction, I met with Dr. Raskin. I was impressed with her credentials and appreciated her quiet, confident manner. After choosing Dr. Raskin as my plastic surgeon I never had cause for doubt or fear. All of my questions were answered and the process was explained in detail. A reduction requires several cuts and was one of the things I was worried about the most. What gentle hands and attention to detail, because I can hardly see them and it's only been 2 weeks. Not sure how someone could give Dr. Raskin 1star, maybe it was the patient that was the issue. I have seen and used Dr. Raskin for Lipo, breast lift and augmentation. She is always available to answer any questions and follows up for days following the procedures to make sure everything is going well. She is an incredibly skilled surgeon. Her office is well run - always available to answer questions and help in any way. I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Dr. Raskin was extremely cold and insensitive. I had a horrible experience with my surgery and was very uncaring and frankly nasty when I went back to try and have the surgery corrected. I would never recommend her and encourage anyone considering a procedure to go elsewhere.
