I had double mastectomy with no nipples on 1/26/2022. I cannot begin to explain how amazing the staff was and of course Dr. Mangubat. I am beyond happy I came to your clinic and every follow up had been just as amazing. Thank you for helping our community and for helping me feel like my authentic self

Excellent accommodations with regard to gender identity and physical safety, I always felt safe and comfortable and in capable hands with all members of the medical team/surgeon/nurses, etc. Everyone made me feel welcomed and in good hands, and I never felt like I had a stupid question or was being talked down to. It's great to have a surgical team you can joke around with a bit, loved when Dr. Mangubat said it was time to rock-n-roll !

The results of my surgery exceeded expectations, the procedure itself was quick and easy. The doctor was professional and friendly, answered every question to satisfaction and more. It was clear that he was experienced.

We were thrilled with the whole procedure. From the 1st appointment to the last everyone was friendly and understanding. Dr. Mangubat's knowledge and calm demeanor gave all of us peace of mind. The nurses where fantastic and the after care after surgery was fantastic.

This is by far the best experience I have ever had with a doctor and a staff. I am so pleased with my results and it's only been 3 weeks. The staff has been so helpful with all my questions. I have had a couple surgeries in the past at a different location/doctor and my experience at La Bella vie has been incredible. From my anesthesiologist to all the wonderful ladies upfront. The best! I love Dr Mangubat! He is so good to all his people. He has a big heart, and is a very good surgeon. I trust him 150 percent! I had arm lift. I had a lot of extra skin, from losing so much weight, over the years. I am 66, I also had some liposuction.

4 weeks post op chest recon still very satisfied - great staff all around.

3 Week BA post op. The procedure went very well. From the preop to the post op, I feel like the staff and doctor did great to answer any of my questions and contact me prior to surgery and after. The doctor was able to speak to my husband after the surgery and the three day post op appointment was great. I had a question two weeks after my surgery and was able to talk to the doctor on the phone which was very comforting.

The staff has been able to always answer my questions and get back to me in a quick manner. I was gendered correctly during my visits which was really big for me.

I am grateful to the doctor and staff for taking care of me and performing this surgery so well because it has truly given me a new life in my body. I have never felt more euphoric and excited looking at myself in a mirror and that is one of the greatest gifts in life I could ask for.

3 week chest reconstruction (top surgery). I am so grateful and very excited about my results, they look great. Dr Mangubat is an expert in beautiful top surgery. The team was really present with me and respectful about my gender/pronouns throughout. Thank you for accommodating my specific requests around taking my tissue home, and having my friends dress me after I awoke form anesthesia. It also meant a lot to me that Dr Luqman held space and gave me time to cry and be in awe after I got to see my chest for the first time. Thank you for everything.

Post op 1 year chest recon - I have no words for how Dr. Mangubat and his team changed my life. This past year has been the first one in which I felt comfortable in my body. I was able to take my shirt off and swim and just live freely this past summer. I no longer have to bind. When I see myself in the mirror, I really see me. I cannot recommend Dr. Mangubat enough. He truly made my dreams come true.

Appreciate how respectful the staff was, especially regarding my gender identity/pronouns. The results of the surgery are life-changing in the best way and the overall experience was very low-stress due to the amazing people here.

My first year post-surgery has been great. I have felt very supported by clinic staff throughout the entire chest reconstruction process and Dr. Mangubat is very knowledgeable and helpful. My recovery went well and I felt like I understood the process and what to expect.
