Dr Neal is an excellent Doctor. Very pleasant, efficient, knowledgeable and thorough. You never feel ‘rushed’, takes the time to explain any condition or treatments. Any referrals to a specialist, if needed, are prompt. She maintains a proficient office staffed by a wonderful team here in Lago Vista.

Annual physical, was looking for physician that would give me more personal care vs. being a number, and checking the boxes. Dr. Neal gave me that and spent a significant amount of time with me, including following up with questions/data while I was there and also after I left. She seems to be very detailed, very informed, and even though first "real" visit, I would recommend her as a General Practitioner for sure. Doesn't hurt that she's very local and convenient for me too!

After trying lots of family doctors around, I finally found the good one. And on top of it she’s nice and she has what every good doctor should have, empathy and she’s a good listener. I have to say that I’m French originally, both my father and my brother are doctors so I know the subject... plus her staff is really nice too ! I trust her, it’s really important when you have a family practitioner!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! BE WARY!! Terrible, Terrible experience!!! INSURANCE FRAUD AND THE BILLING MANAGER IGNORED MY CALLS FOR WEEKS TO TRY TO CLEAR IT UP!!! MY WHOLE FAMILY LEFT GOING HERE BECAUSE OF THIS! I had just moved here from another state and I was told by insurance to get refills on my meds that I needed a PCP and I could use it as my yearly physical appointment. So I scheduled the appt. and went to Dr. Wassel, had received a shot too (which is normal when you go for a physical), and told her about the medication I take for refills. It was an easy in and out appt. I received the bill which should have been ZERO dollars even according to my insurance because of a physical. THEY CODED IT AS A DIAGNOSIS, when I told her the meds I take, there was no new diagnosis and they wouldn't change the code to a physical so they could get paid. When I called the first time about the issue, Evelyn said, if it was a physical I shouldn't have talked about the medication I am on and it changes

Dr. Neal takes time and listens to my concerns about my health. She has positive and honest plan for my treatments and or therapies. Going to the doctor is not my favorite thing to do however Dr. Neal makes is easier.

Very pleased with Dr. Neal's work and appreciate it. However, continuing to be hugely disappointed with the balance of the staff's non compliance with proper mask wearing protocols

I didn't care for the very young woman that tried to draw blood. She missed the vein and dug around. The other lady that usually does it came in and did it right!

Dr. Neal is kind and passionate. She is very thorough and takes the time to listen and answer all your questions.

I like Dr. Neil's style. She always tells you like it is! Her no nonsense approach sets me at ease, making me feel good about what needs to be done without worry.

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Neal or anyone in her office. My husband even likes her and he is hard to please. He recently had a bypass and the telehealth visit with her was what helped us decide whether to go with that or a double stent process. She walked us through everything when we couldn't get a good response from the cardiologist. She is always cheerful and takes plenty of time to answer my questions. I read the few negative review here feel they say more about the writers than Dr. Neal. Anyone can have a bad day but I've never seen her show it. I can usually get an appointment pretty fast and wait times are good to average. I have been seeing her for about 5 years now.

Dr. Neal is always compassionate and takes the time to talk about everything going on. She truly wants to help you feel better.

Dr. Neal is hands down the best doctor I've ever had. Some docs can be dismissive or make you feel like you're making it up. She genuinely cares about her patients and their well being. I'm able to tell her everything with out worry! Can't say enough good things about her. Evelyn, her admin is AH-MAZING as well. So friendly and such a great team.

I visited Dr Neal for the first time in October with a lingering breathing problem. She was very knowledgeable and aggressively treated the problem. She explained how to take the meds and requested some additional testing. I was very impressed with her and her nurses and staff. They are all very friendly and actually answer the phone when you call.

I was passing out, she thought I might be having seizures & wanted to do some blood work. I &told her of the 6 times I have had these episodes I had drank the night before 1 of them. A few days later the NURSE called Dr said my alcoholism was causing them. Dr never asked how much I drink or how often. Told me to stop drinking. only so many letter...so long story short my neurologist said its epilepsy&I am not alcoholic & Dr Neal's advice could have cause much more damage to me. Seizures can kil

I feel that Dr. Neal lacks compassion and her receptionist, Evelyn, is completely rude and judgmental.
