1. She cancelled 2 first appointments which resulted in almost 6 month wait until I saw her so that when we sought authorization I was denied because I had not tried treatments for 6 months. 2 Despite being responsible for the denial, she refused to appeal. 3 I appealed and had to wait 4 months to get a surgery date. 4. One week before surgery she cancelled me because she was 'risk adverse' because I was on coumadin. Duh..I have been on it for 25 years and she knew it. All told, I wasted 15 months. Onto a better surgeon. Total elapsed time will now be 20 months.

Dr. Kim is an all star! Being premed, she’s someone I look up to, and as far as being a patient, she is someone I felt did a spectacular job! From pre-op to surgery to post-op, I truly felt cared for and in phenomenal hands. Her staff is also amazing and in particular, Cynthia, made a positive impact on my overall post op appointment. I’m so glad I chose Dr. Kim for my breast reduction surgery. She’s experienced, knowledgeable, kind and has great bedside manner. Surgery went well, I had no complications, and am so happy with the results. She’s great at what she does and that’s exactly what you want from a surgeon.

I have had the best experience with Dr Betty Kim. She is wonderful. Explains everything well. Her work is excellent. And her office staff is wonderful too. I’m very happy and recommend her highly. She is the BEST.

I had better than expected results due to the severity of my situation. I had breast cancer and needed to have a double mastectomy, with reconstruction. The reconstruction required liposuction. I elected for a mini tummy tuck to remove C-section scar. I didn't expect to look as perfect as I do. I look like I had augmentation rather than reconstruction. My belly is flat with minimal scarring. Dr. Kim is very caring, kind, and personable. She is an artist. I feel so lucky to have had her as my surgeon. Within 6 weeks after my surgery, I went to Kauai. I wore a bikini and felt like a model. I suffered for a year and a half through chemo, multiple surgeries, feeling ugly and non - human. I had bilateral mastectomy & reconstruction done just a month ago by Dr. Kim. From the moment I met her, I knew I was in great hands with her professionalism, her knowledge & her compassion. I’ve had exceptional care by her & her team. I feel blessed to be treated by such a wonderful Doctor.

Dr Kim and her team have been great. I'm still healing from surgery but they have been very attentive and nice to deal with.

Dr. Kim is a beautiful woman inside and out. She really cares about her patients. She is so meticulous and detailed and is great at her job. A wonderful doctor and I am very happy to know her. I wouldn’t go to anyone else.

Best surgeon in SoCal, best bedside manners and incredible staff. After nursing for four and half years my breast were in terrible shape. After my diagnoses of early star breast cancer, it was recommended that I get a double mastectomy. I was referred to dr. Kim, and of course after consulting with her and meeting he staff, I was assured I would be under the best care. I cannot even imagine what it would have been like without her help, advice, and reassurance -- she has been truly incredible in every way. In a very dark process she’s been a rare bright spot.

I interviewed several plastic surgeons prior to having a bi-lateral mastectomy and reconstruction. Upon my first meeting with Dr. Kim, I knew she was the right doctor to do my reconstruction. In addition to being highly recommended by my surgical oncologist, she was professional, personable, and didn't make outlandish promises about the outcome of my surgery. Her staff is also a good reflection of her and I have enjoyed working with them.

Dr Kim is an artist. After breast cancer Dr Kim mended my breasts and made me look natural and feel natural. She has amazing bed side manner and I highly recommend her. She’s amazing!!! PS her staff is equally great!

I have had two surgeries with Dr.Kim. The results has been amazing. She is caring, precise,knowledgeable, and professional. She has answered all of my question and explained the procedure. She has an amazing and professional team that work with her. She is the best surgeon.

I am a cancer survivor who unfortunately experienced a double mastectomy. I was reassured by Dr. Kim of a positive result and she has done a wonderful job with my reconstruction. My confidence level is great! I am still under construction and all procedures are handled in a very professional and timely manner to fit my needs.

She is Bad news... If surgery goes well, no problem... but if there are any complications, you are on your own!!! Run !!!! Don't walk, Run away!! I chose her because if the reviews on line.... but most of her good reviews are 4 years old.

Consider her part of my "Dream steam" of Drs. I had a double mastectomy and Dr Kim did my reconstruction and from the beginning to the end she was flawless, compassionate, straightforward, and I am so lucky to know her and have her as my Dr. Her entire staff is courteous, professional and I have always had a positive experience in her office. I can't say enough good things about her and her staff. For such a difficult decision to have this type of surgery Dr Kim was a perfect guiding light.

I cannot recommend Dr. Kim highly enough. On my first visit she immediately put me at ease and answered every one of my questions and concerns. In my pre-op appointment, she got me excited about actually having the surgery. I am 2 weeks post op on a breast reduction, and I could not be happier with how I feel and the result. I have another month to mend but that will be easy. She is the best of both worlds, a scientist and an artist. A great surgeon. Do yourself a great service and choose her.

Dr. Elizabeth Kim's work is amazing, I would recommend her to anyone who needs breast augmentation, revision or reduction. And Cynthia and Nicole are very professional with answering questions, working with insurance and scheduling. I'm very happy with my results!
