Elizabeth Jernberg

I am a previous pt of Dr Jernberg, I went to her after my Rheumatologist moved to another state. I have a HX of DVT and was on blood thinners for about 10 years. Dr Jernberg would not fill my SLE medication until she received my labs which was becoming a problem and dangerous, I was in a flare more often than not, I was doing the labs, she would say she didn’t receive. I was up at UW talking to Dr about going off blood thinners and he was going over my history and told me my Rheumatologist didn’t believe I had Lupus? If it wasn’t so crazy sounding, I would’ve laughed! He gave me the name of a great Rheumatologist and even though I drive a bit further, I have been there ever since. I believe everything happens for a reason, I was diagnosed in 2001 with SLE and DLE in 2003 Sjogren’s , Fibro to name a few. Hopefully others have had a better experience than I had. Good luck.

Dr. Jernberg is personable, warm and welcoming. She is proactive on my treatment and quick to adjust.

Dr. Jernberg's ongoing care of my R.A. has helped me to be pain-free and active. Her expertise is obvious and she is caring and thorough. She takes the time I need at all appointments and answers all of my questions. I highly recommend her!

I have been a patient of Virginia Mason Federal Way for over 4 years. The care that I have received has been wonderful. The Doctors and Staff are Second to Nun. However, for the last six to nine months it has been increasingly difficult to get a timely appointment with anyone. At one point I was scheduled with a Nurse Practitioner, as all of the Doctors were booked up. On May 25, 2016, I received a phone call to reschedule a Doctors appointment. The earliest that I could see my Doctor was now going to be July 14th ... over a month and a half away. I'm sorry, but this is unacceptable! In addition, because of apparently being short handed, we are now limited to 15 minutes with the Doctor. I have been a patient of Virginia Mason Federal Way for over 4 years.
