Elizabeth Ann Grosen

Was referred to Dr. Grosen for cancer. She explained all the options and I picked a treatment plan. At one point a few weeks later, during treatment I freaked out wondering if I had picked the right treatment plan. She went over all the information again and reminded me why I had picked that plan as well as why she agreed. Very satisfied with service.

Utterly unavailable. I was diagnosed in March, saw her in February and haven’t seen her since. She tried to call me for a telehealth appointment that I was told about via a voicemail, but I missed the voicemail. That’s on me. However, she hasnt contacted me since April, and that was about my surgery coming up, which she pushed off on my OBGYN. I got a 2nd opinion consult from cancer alliance at UW oncology. They have called me regularly to ask how I’m doing...Dr. Grossen’s office has never once called just to check in me or ask how I am. I had to get my cancer staging, in depth image and description of my MRI imaging and results and recommendations from this doctor in Seattle, not my actual oncologist in Spokane, Dr. Grosen. My insurance needed her to write a letter (I offered to email the form to them) explaining why I had genetic testing done because they denied the initial claim. She never did it, I called and was very clear it needed to be done by her, not me.

Awful. She had already made a decision about whether to do preventative surgery or not before she had walked into the room. I was talked at rather than talked to, and don’t feel that my care was a discussion between myself and the provider. Not sure why I was referred to her, as this is the worst I’ve ever been treated by a provider.

I came to see Dr Grosen for a large pelvic mass. She made me feel very uncomfortable. Her bedside manner was so bad that I decided there was no way I could have her operate on me and cancelled my surgery. I ended up going to UCLA where I was treated like a human being and not a number. I almost put off surgery indefinitely because I was so upset with the way she treated me. It was a good thing that I didn’t because I ended up having uterine cancer. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Excellent treatment, listened to my questions. Feel I am in excellent care and would recommend her to family and friends.

I had a diagnosis of Cancer and because of Dr. Grosen's expertise and excellence I am currently cancer free. Her care was gentle, compassionate and she spent a great deal of time to ensure my understanding of the process and procedures I underwent. I feel blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor with a wonderful bedside manor. Any patient should feel lucky to have a doctor of your caliber and knowledge. I am grateful you practice in our city. Thank you for your care.
