Dr. McLemore recently completed a successful colon resection surgery on me to remove a cancerous tumor discovered during a routine colonoscopy. The surgery was smooth and uneventful, despite the fact that I had several factors that put me at higher risk for potential surgical complications. Other surgeons had been too scared to operate on me due to potential risk factors, but Dr. McLemore was not deterred. The entire experience exceeded my expectations - with the surgery resulting in very minimal scarring or pain. My family and I were thrilled with the level of care we received. In addition, Dr. McLemore’s bedside manner is warm, calm, forthright, intelligent and reassuring. I always feel comfortable and reassured when I see her. Her team is likewise smart and very responsive - emails, for example, are answered quickly and thoughtfully. This is a top-notch clinician on all levels.

Dr McLemore is a specialist colorectal surgeon at Kaiser on Sunset Blvd. I became her patient in 2015 when I was diagnosed with a low 4cm cancerous tumor in my rectum. She had just introduced the pioneering Habr-Gamma Watch and Wait protocol to her practice. I was fortunate to have a complete clinical response to radiation, and Dr McLemore put me on Watch and Wait rather than surgically removing my sphincter. Six years later my life is just like a normal person with no long term effects of treatment. Dr McLemore literally saved my sphincter :-) I will always be grateful to her. She remains my doctor, she is always caring, concerned, and very professional.

Met Dr. McLemore first time yesterday. She's compassionate and detailed. I'm thrilled to be her patient.

The worst experience in my life, she doesn't listen, not answering question she just keep repeating herself as a robot. She does not built trust with patient , as of it the surgery was canceled 40 min before it supposed to start. I never met more stubborn provider ever, and after googling her reviews im very happy that now i will have another surgeon.

In the day of surgery after i didnt agree for photo and video release for educational purposes she trying to force me to trust her word that she will not do it and still SIGN a document, after i disagreed she canceled surgery.

I was one of Dr. McLemores last surgery patients at UC San Diego before she came to Los Angeles-Kaiser . From day 1, she and her UC staff were kind, patient and so caring. I underwent two surgeries for JPOUCH and UC colitis related care. As you know, after trying all the medications including -Remicade (which failed after four years), UC & JPOUCH surgery was the last option. There is no better UC surgeon than Dr. McLemore. As a Law Enforcement Officer, and after her expert surgeries, I now have my life back. I can't recommend her enough! In a recent examination, the Doctor asked who did my surgery as he noticed the expert surgical JPOUCH work and related details. Hands down, she is a great person and a great surgeon. -S.

Dr. McLemore is professional as well as kind. She takes the time to make me feel comfortable during what would otherwise have been an embarrassing examination. She put me at ease. She advised me on surgical treatments as well as changes to my diet that could make me better as well. I felt like she took the time to educate me on the treatment options so that I could make the best decision for my condition and my lifestyle. I feel blessed to have met Dr. McLemore.
