Dr. Elena Yamaguchi

Dr Yamaguchi is basically inaccessible. The office rarely answers the phone during normal business hours and doesn't return calls. This doctor likes to farm out problems, but does nothing herself. She has trouble filling out prescriptions correctly and the staff won't fix the errors either. One time I had to use MY PHONE at her office to obtain insurance codes for her for my bloodwork. Overall my experiences with her have all been sub par. Save yourself the hassles and find a better office and doctor.

We experienced a very attentive and patient doctor. We never felt rushed and she always made a point of making us feel both calmed and informed at the same time.

Dr. Yamaguchi is one of the best physicians I have ever been fortunate enough to be referred to! She and her staff are professional, kind,and caring, and the doctor’s vast knowledge and ability to truly listen to her patients makes her a cut above the rest. As a healthcare professional for over 30 years, I can tell you that most doctors, especially during these times, are not the same and will not spend as much time with every patient as Dr. Yamaguchi is willing to. Thank you for making such a difference in our lives!

Dr. Yamaguchi is the best of the BEST! I went to her for a difficult to diagnose case. I had seen probably 25 doctors prior to her for this issue. When I called for an appointment, I told her office manager my situation. She spoke with Dr. Yamaguchi and they saw me the next day and the doctor came in early to work me in her schedule. When I was there, she had already contacted Quest Diagnostics and my internist and secured all my records. She did not rush me. She took the time to appropriately think about my situation and order additional lab tests. Her staff is sensitive to each patient's needs and are very kind professionals. I am convinced, Dr. Yamaguchi will cure me. I highly recommend this practice.

I am so thankful that I found Dr. Yamaguchi. She very effectively addressed a problem I had experienced for more than a year. She is very knowledgeable and uses her knowledge to precisely diagnose the patient's problem. She has shown that she stays very current on procedures and medications. She is a doctor who truly cares about her patients and takes her responsibility to them very seriously. She always takes the time to fully inform the patient. Her staff is wonderful. Efficient. Professional.

The staff are very efficient and respect individual patient needs. The room where most of the infusions take place is a bee hive of activity and team work. Linda, Dawn, Bonnie and several other nurses man that office seven days a week throughout all holidays! They are cheerful and flexible with scheduling change requests. They are the “gold standard” ! BUT... There a boxes strung about the other rooms and the one exam room where I was seen was appalling! Paint and storage solutions!

Dr. Yamaguchi, is patient and thorough. She is extremely smart, courteous and works hard to assist a patient in achieving excellent health. She spends a significant amount of time answering questions and helping you understand the necessary treatment required for the disease. She does spend a long amount of time with each patient, which results in long wait times. However, she gives you the time you need and seeks to resolve all concerns with each illness. Her staff is pleasant and courteous.

Absolutely HORRID~~my mother is in the Delray med and this Dr would not call me 1 time, she randomly prescribed medicine without telling what it was for. I have called her 7 times in 2 days and not one response. I am the proxy of my mother and not one time as this dr even reached out to talk to me. I have left messages, called the hosiptal and begged for a conversation. if my mother gets worse it is her fault. i would run, not walk from this dr. If you are that busy u should not take new patient

Best doctor that I have been to, the staff are awesome always willing to help and get answers to our questions. The wait times are really long though.

Dr Yamaguchi is an excellent doctor. She is always compassionate and listens to her patient's needs.
