I have had multiple appointments (3-4) & they have all been horrible , the way he talk to his patients (Me) is very rude & dismissing . The staff is very nice but he has no sympathy & I honestly feel like he is a very Unpleasing doctor , I try giving him benefit of doubt but today will be my last visit to his office . Worst doctor I’ve ever had !

Dr.Pan is an amazing doctor very professional, insightful and has a great sense of humor. I will recommend him to any and everyone. Answered all my questions. And I felt no pain in his care. The best OB/GYN doctor thus far.

Best OBGYN I ever had. Dr. Pan delivered all my 3 babies, C-section. After my first I wouldn’t go anywhere else. My third had complications but as always he did an amazing job. Staff is also very nice and professional too.

I have been with Dr. Pan for several years two births and everything in between. Recently here to have my IUD removed and it went so smooth when I could’ve ended up in the OR because a different doctor cut the string so short. But Dr. Pan got it painlessly! Love him!

i love dr. pan.. before he delivered my 2 daughters , i had a miscarriage which he really helped me through.. it was early on but he was so kind and caring with explaining to me that my child had no heartbeat and ill never forget how compassionate he was.. fast foward to my first delivery he was awesome and same with my second.. i had 2 csecs and his skills are impeccable leaving me with a scar that can barely be seen.. He honored my requests and made sure everything happened the way i wanted.. plus he's a funny guy.. office staff is awesome and they have always gone above and beyond for me.. if i could give him 10 stars i would

Best OBGYN in the county. Friendly and pleasant staff. Clean working space. Dr Pan made my experience as a first time mom enjoyable and kept me well informed in regards to my baby health and my well being. Dr Pan is selfless, caring, very detailed, taking his patient best interest at heart. My experience with him was femonimal. From our first interaction I felt like I was more than pt #, he help me to bring two beautiful healthy babies into this world. With each appointment being very detailed, discussing health of mommy and babies and the milestones achieved. We discussed all possibilities leading up to delivery and chose the very best one. Edwin Pan is prejudice I suggest if you have Medicaid that you find a different Gyn doctor. Plus his demeanor is non-chalant and he will dismiss any problems, pain or discomfort you are having. There plenty of other black female Gyn doctors in the area I suggest you utilize them. But the office is clean and the front desk staff is friendly and courteous. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a GYN. Planned Parenthood is better than a visit with him. He shouldn’t practice healthcare if he is biased and prejudice. I recently switched to Dr. Pan and I couldn’t be happier! I like that I am seeing ONE doctor and not a different one each time I come into the office. He is knowledgeable and thorough. Had my visit with Dr. Pan Saturday April 9,2022. This was second time seeing him. On my first visit he spent maybe 10 minutes in the room, at the time I was completely understanding because I was on my cycle but didn’t want to cancel the appointment. At that visit he did a pelvic ultrasound and confirmed the diagnosis. Second visit he walks in the room and immediately told me to slide to the end of the table no asking why I came in, no questions asked nothing. In less than one minute he did the swab and was getting ready to do the vaginal ultrasound. Told me what he saw on the ultrasound and went on the tell me that he can prescribe birth control as the treatment. I asked if that was the only treatment he then told me that’s the only treatment and that I need to exercise and diet. How dear you tell make assumptions that I don’t exercise and eat healthy. I am 5’.2” 135lb. Ask me if I exercise and ask about my diet. Explain to me what you saw and what my treatment options are. If I need to change my diet what type of diet should I be on. Very poor bed side manners. I won’t even get into the 45 minutes I spent in the room waiting to see him. Worst care I have ever gotten in my life. As someone who works in the medical field I know what good patient care looks like, and this was not it. I have been with Dr. Pan for over 10yrs. He has delivered two of my children and another one coming in July. He is knowledgeable and does all the appropriate workups to make sure the baby is healthy. Who wrote these “good” reviews?? Are they even real? So many years practicing and only 65 reviews which all happen to be only good reviews? My wife went to man Bc she took a home test that read positive. She gets there and it’s the worse experience she has ever had with a obgyn… and this isn’t no where near our first pregnancy. They did an ultra sound on outdated equipment. They didn’t even request a urine sample, which my wife had to suggest while waiting… that’s when an assistant at the desk gave her a sample cup with bare hands AT THE DESK AND RECEIVED IT WITH BARE HANDS FROM MY WIFE…AT THE DESK! Now let’s get tot the point when the doctor seen my wife… “Dr lab coat was dirty The equipment was soooo old Dr had no bed side manner Dr did the quickest scan ever not measuring or anything When I expressed I lost a son in my last twin pregnancy he wrote down 4 pregnancies with one child expired. Dr Pan is an A hole, went to have my annual gyn check up they had me stripped from the waist down she gave me a paper gown to cover up she left me for approximately 20mins with the door closed no ventilation I was suffocating, had to call for help. Dr Pan came in to examine me he had me lying down with my legs in the stirrup, he left the room to find out about my insurance, didn’t returned until approximately 20mins all this time I’m still in the examining position, he came in and didn’t have The common decency to apologize. By far one of the worst experience of my life. The appointments were very rushed, didn’t speak much to the doctor. I asked him 150x if everything looks fine he said yes. I never heard the baby’s heart beat. He showed it via ultrasound round which was very rushed. I never received a picture he made me take pictures with my phone. I went for my 11 week ultrasound sound scan at a radiology center and unfortunately they told me the baby has a rare condition and my opinion would be to terminate my pregnancy because my baby wouldn’t live after delivery. This was very unfortunate, they told me that they will be sending over the information to Dr. Pan and they’ll be reaching out to me the same day since this is a very rare case. Hours passed and no call. I decided to give them a call and they simply said we can’t help and that we can refer you to an abortion clinic and there is no need for me to come back in. What a joke! I had to find an abortion clinic on my own. Also, they don’t have medical release forms to email you. They tell you to find one on Google if you can’t make it into the office. How unprofessional, especially when you have an abortion schedule. I didn’t get a call from the doctor explaining the condition or what I could’ve done to prevent it or what should be my next steps. They radiologist was more informative then this office could ever be. Google was more of a help than they were. I’ve managed many medical practice and I will NEVER treat a patient this way. The fact that they were so dismissive blows my mind. This should be a doctor’s priority that day. A simple call could have made a difference. This is an absolute joke of an office. I've been Dr. Pan's patient for roughly 3 years and he has always been very attentive and kind. My last few GYN doctors would make me wait for up to an hour at a time for routine visits. Dr. Pan has never made me wait longer than 20 minutes. He has always made me feel comfortable and safe, and was especially caring as I just had my first baby a few months ago. He was respectful of my time and worries, and even still helped me while I struggled with my insurance. His staff helped me through insurance conflicts through the delivery and post-partum, and saved me thousands of dollars of medical bills. I would highly recommend Dr. Pan. I thought long and Hard about writing Dr Pan review. He is my 2nd Gyno in this country. He is very knowledgeable, and he cares so much for his patients. I will never forget when he came to the hospital to check on me when I was in labor. I was like 4 to 5cm in he told me he "was heading home but not to worry the moment I was ready he would be there". I wasn’t really sure what to expect at first but he truly is very knowledgeable, honest & has a lot of experience. He remembers all of his patients by the way & pays very close attention to details. Very good Doctor always concerned about everything and double checking. When to doctor Pen all my 3 pregnancies to him great doctor. The staff is so great so helpful such a sweet girls. No matter what they always make sure you get see the doctor the time you need to they make work with you and your schedule great girls.

Horrible experience! As soon as I arrived I was all smiles/eager to meet him. His first hello was dry compared to mine. During the examination, I gave him some medical updates and mentioned I was looking to switch to him permanently since I didn’t agree with the visitor policies at my old doctors. I wanted a place that I can still have someone accompany me to my appts/birth. Since the COVID pandemic, my old doctors stopped allowing any visitors, not even your spouse. Which was a huge deal breaker for me. However with Dr Pan, he allows one guest which was great. (Only pro) Anyway, his tone and body language was very rude and very dismissive! He immediately started asking about where I lived and how he didn’t want patients who will go to his appts but not actually give birth at his hospital. I thought this was very strange as I didn’t mention or imply such thing and I actually assured him that if I chose his hospital I would make sure to give birth there. At this point I felt like I was pleading him to accept me as a patient, weird. I explained to him I’m actually very particular about where I go for appts and where I give birth.(not my 1st pregnancy) I would never bounce around. I’ve been at the same hospital since I was born and gave birth to my first child there also. So If I commit, I would def commit! I tried to ask a few more questions about his hospital and he just kept saying it’s up to me and whatever I wanted. (Told me take pictures of a pamphlet and walked out) I was appalled. No words to make me feel comfortable, Not even a “have a good day.” And I would like to add, majority of this visit my husband was in the room and by Dr Pans body language he didn’t seem to like my husband very much which was also strange cause my husband hardly spoke, I generally do all the talking. (Again, our first visit here never met him) Dr Pan continuously grilled him Even when speaking to me which was weird cause I like to keep eye contact when talking so I found that to be rude as well. My husband didn’t even notice. My husband is black so I’m not sure if that played a major role and why he was so dismissive towards me or my inquiries. Entire visit felt cold and awkward. He had no intent or interest to see me again, he didn’t request another appointment by his staff or refer me to get a sonogram which is what I would of been the next step going into my second trimester. He definitely doesn’t seem like a person who truly cares about his patients. As I walked out , I stoped at the front desk to pay and let the front desk lady know that I was very unhappy and didn’t feel comfortable. She really didn’t seem like she cared either. I asked her to pass my feedback along to the Dr, since he had already left the room and I didn’t want be a bother. (at no time was I rude or disrespectful to Dr Pan or the office.) I assumed maybe he had some bad patient experiences in the past And I tried to justify his behavior. but when I left, I thought more about it on the ride home, he shouldn’t of judged me or treated me like some sort of outcast. Although I was new, I told him he was recommended to me by a close friend who just gave birth a few weeks ago and my mom who gave birth there some years ago. Anyway I guess that didn’t matter to him. Very condescending , arrogant, dismissive, not one to converse, get you in and out. Needs A LOT of help in the customer service department! Oh yea I paid out of pocket for this visit and the appt lasted about 10min. Again, the appt felt very rushed with no time to really talk. And yes paying out of pocket was big especially because I already have insurance however they didn’t except mines so I offered to pay fee in hopes to switch my insurance to his preferred one before the next appt if all went well. That’s how much confidence I had going in to the appt. Never thought I would be wasting my time and money. Other cons: machines badly outdated, office/room very small . I had 3 kids under Dr Pan's care, a daughter and a set of twins just recently. Dr Pan provides excellent care, he listens, an amazing ob/gyn dr, i would recommend him any day anytime. Simply the best, been going to him for over 6yrs now.

Dr Pan was referred to me by a friend and I have been going to him ever since (approx. 5 years.) I absolutely love him! He is very straight forward which cracks me up all the time! But he is honest and very intentional. He is an absolute genius in his expertise. His machines are outdated but he doesn’t miss a thing on those screens! So It doesn’t bother me at all. He knows his stuff! He cared for me during my first pregnancy and my husband was at every appointment and loves him! After gaining a lot weight one month he asked me “what I was eating?!” Which could offend someone but he explained that because I was petite the baby would also gain too much weight and make the delivery difficult. He predicted her weight down to the ounce. She was 8.2lbs EXACTLY as he predicted. During my delivery I was the last patient on the floor, I never ever felt pressured to do a C-section. His only concern was that she pooped in the sack and I wasn’t dialating. He still waited for me to go naturally .... he waited hours! During delivery as he said. She was big and had a hard time coming out, shoulders stuck, umbilical cord around her neck and he was hands down the best throughout the whole process. Quick, professional, efficient! HE KNOWS HIS STUFF! When they weighed her he asked her weight. When the nurse said 8.2 lbs he laughed and told me “I told you so!” I have referred 2 people to him and they both love him! I am now pregnant with my second child and there is no other doctor I would rather be with. If you’re a Black woman, and want a GYN who has good bedside manner, who will make you feel comfortable, and not gaslight you, please steer clear. Dr. Pan is the first and only medical professional to leave me in tears leaving his office from how insensitive he was. He is uninterested, insensitive and apathetic. He made me feel like I was crazy and like I was wasting his time. I’ve found a new GYN, I literally had to find a Black woman GYN because my experience with Dr. Pan was so bad.

Dr. Pan is the most insensitive, unprofessional GYN I have ever seen. All he cares about is his money, told a pregnant girl he can’t see her anymore because of an insurance issue that wouldn’t apply until months later. Didn’t know she had an appointment that day. Didn’t have any record of her being there. Didn’t ask any wellness questions, literally a disgusting experience. If I could give him 0 stars I would. If you want a doctor who cares about YOU and your baby do not book this man.

Four years ago at 7 months pregnant I withdrew as a patient. I was concerned about having a C section and that Lawrence hospital had the highest rate of c-sections in westchester county (54% in 2014) but Dr Pan was very dismissive when I brought this up. What really drove me away was after I became sick for over 6 days and he refused to prescribe antibiotics. I knew as a nurse I had come down with a bacterial infection. Ultimately I couldn't breathe at work, was febrile and dehydrated and was directly admitted into the ER. I went home with antibiotics (was better within 24 hours) and watched the Business of being Born and the rest is history. The last comment he said to me NEVER left my mind. "So you think you will have a water birth? (sarcastically with a smirk)" Well I'll tell you what I did have, two subsequent natural births of my daughter and son without being induced, without pain medication and without an episiotomy with my midwife. The best advice I can give is to do your research because no one will be a greater advocate for your child or yourself! C-sections are a major surgery and while they are useful in emergency situations they are also highly overused to maximize hospital profits. Best of luck to you all. Best OB doctor. An amazing experience during my pregnancy and after.

Dr Pan delivered my 2nd child, best experience I’ve had! Very detailed and easy going and controls an amazing team.

Dr. Pan is a straightforward no nonsense doctor. He is very professional and genuinely cares about his patients. He delivered my second baby and it was definitely a great experience compared to my first experience which was rather traumatizing.

We went here for an intial consult. First, he was late, then he rushed us through the appointment and did not allow us to ask any questions. Then, he asked what background we were, and said that "Indians are uptight." Even before we could comprehend what happened, he referred us out. Dr. Pan is the best he has been my gynae from 2016. I got pregnant in 2017 he made my pregnancy and the delivery process so easy and simply. He allows gives a listening ear and ALWAYS ON CALL. During my delivery he was there from the start to the finish. I would recommend him without a doubt.
