PARENTS BEWARE. Do not take your kid here. Want somewhere where they ACTUALLY WORK on all ages? Go somewhere else. Does your kid have cavities? Go somewhere else. Want a dentist that shows compassion for parents and kids? Go somewhere else. Want to get scammed out of money? Go here, it's absolutely perfect. This place told us they work on all ages and got my daughter scheduled within 2 days. We were beyond thrilled. They took her back, did a full exam with x-rays, THEN told us they don't actually work on kids. They also charged us for an "emergency visit" despite the fact we scheduled it days in advance.

We were new patients at this office. The receptionist was awful from the very beginning! She treated us like we were an inconvenience! It’s sad when even my 10 year old child said “wow seems like she’s mad!” I understand everyone has a bad day,but we had 3 encounters with this lady. Once over the phone to set up new appointments,myself at my new patient appointment,and then my 10 year old childs appointment. All three times this lady was nasty and rude to us! It’s unfortunate because the doctors and the rest of the staff were amazing! But the one lady who is supposed to greet people as they walk in and make them feel comfortable,is by far one of the rudest people I’ve ever come in contact with. dentist I have ever been to. I got a decent treatment plan, at first. Then, I got a second opinion. Eventually, decided to go with Dr. Hawk. Dr. Hawk is a greedy quack. As soon as I told them how much my CareCredit was approved for, which was much more than what the initial treatment plan would cost, he wanted to rip out every tooth and sell me dentures. According to his original plan and the second opinion, I only needed two removed, an extra-numerary, plus my wisdom teeth. I asked him why and he said, "I looked at your X-rays, again". I went in to have impressions done and he spent an hour trying to sell me dentures, then charged me $90 for the "consultation" that I didn't even want. ***WILL FINISH REVIEW AS A SECOND REVIEW***

***Review Continued*** Against my better judgement, I decided to just have my wisdom teeth and extra-numerary extracted. He did the extra-numerary and one wisdom tooth, with no problem, minus he used so much novacaine that I couldn't open my jaw without grabbing it and forcing it open (for about 8 hours, after). On the third tooth, he spent 45 minutes, used my front damaged teeth as leverage and moved them over when i asked him (causing more damage), and tried to talk me into getting the last two done, even though I said no, repeatedly. Dr. Edwin Hawk's hands were shaking and he puched the back of my mouth, at least 4 times, with whatever blunt instrument he was using. He left a hole between my mouth and sinuses and water comes out of my nose when I rinse. When I called the "emergency" phone number, they didn't call back for 13 hours. His office will rip you off, try to upsell you work you don't need , and cause more damage to your mouth. Stay away from Dr. Edwin Hawk, at all costs!

I did like Hawk Dental being patients for 4 years... However, this last visit just told me a lot about things there. My daughter (15) had an appointment & within 17 minutes, walking to the back, having her teeth cleaned, dentist looking at her, fluoride treatment and walking back to the waiting room SEVENTEEN minutes. This means she spent less that 15 minutes in the chair having all these things done. How well of a job did everyone do if it only took 15 minutes? The cost was $163 (no insurance & she goes every six months). After phoning the office and asking HOW can they do all of those things in less that 15 minutes, the answer I received was "she must have very good oral hygiene", seriously? How well did they clean/polish her teeth? How did the dentist give a thorough exam within minutes? Did they even talk to her? My 15 yr old normally has quite a bit to say and that takes time. We will never return to Hawks, we will tell our friends about a dental visit that lasted less than 15 minutes and being charged $163 for a routine 6 month cleaning, due to "good oral hygiene" $652 hourly rate is quite unreasonable... Dr. Ed's office worked me in even though I didn't have an established appt. My visit was fast, efficient, and relatively pain free. Dr. Ed and his staff are all friendly and professional. They make a visit to the dentist manageable.

Dr. Carrie has magical hands! She takes care of things with minimal pain to the patient. I have been to a few dentists over the years, and she is definitely up there as one of the best!

I have been going to this practice since I was a little girl. Started with Dr Gene and moved through the family. Everyone is friendly and professional. Enjoy having my teeth cleaned by Sally. It is like 2 friends catching up on things that has happened in the past 6 months.

If your looking for a good dentist for your child...Dr. Carrie Hawk is by far the best I've seen. My daughter has a decent amount of anxiety about dental appointments and cavity fillings and she is completely clueless to the fact that she has had injections in her mouth. UNBELIEVABLE!! Awesome dentist and staff. Haven't been to Dr. Hawks since I was a kid but the other day I had a really bad toothache and Carrie hawk got me in that day to take care of the pain. I really appreciate the fact she said she could do a root canal and save it and I told her I just wanted it pulled and she left it at that. Most dentist try to get as much money out of you as they can. Not the Hawks. Very professional and friendly from the lady at the front desk to all the staff working in the back .
