He did not care about me or my injury and said I was too old for surgery. I'm only 50. He inflicted pain during my visit and didn't stop when I said it hurt.

Great doctor and confident highly skilled surgeon.

Dr. Young is the best. He has cared for our family for over a decade. He doesn’t recommend surgery unless it is appropriate. (Although he has performed several surgeries on my family). He is incredibly thoughtful and thorough in his approach. He is the surgeon physicians choose for their own care. Top notch.

I had a hip replacement 4 ½ years ago. After vegetating all winter and doing no exercises, I got out of bed one morning with sharp pains near my replaced hip. After seeing Dr. Young, he assured me that physical therapy would help with what he diagnosed as piriformis syndrome, also determining from an MRI that deterioration in my lumbar spine area was contributing to this problem. His treatment regimen helped me, and I appreciated that he was in close communication with the physical therapists at JOI. I found him to be very caring and insightful, having had many years of experience with those who have had hip replacements. I highly recommend Dr. Young.

He doesn't explain anything. Terrible doctor. He had no interest at all in the patient and he just told her/him that (s)he could not run or do any other workouts. When he/she went to another doctor they listed out the sports and all the ways to fix it.

For over a decade, Dr. Young has taken care of my orthopedic problems; broken bones, osteoarthritis and knee joint replacement. His competence, ability and reassuring doctor-patient interaction are all stellar.

I have been treated by Dr. Young for over 12 years. He is very kind, compassionate and caring. Had knee replacement surgery. Had wonderful results. Dr. Young and his staff are wonderful. I highly recommend him.

Won't pretend and poke around

Dr. Young is conservative in his approach so he won't rush into surgery unless it's needed. He has done several on me with no complications whatsoever. His office runs efficiently too.

Dr. Young is very rushed and doesn't give adequate time to his patients. I went through two rounds of injections to relieve my knee pain in addition to six months of physical therapy. I only have deteriorated. Unfortunately, I have never been told why, or what I can do to more permanently relieve this pain and limp. When I tried to see another doctor in the practice for another opinion, I was reprimanded by the other doctor for leaving Dr Young. How unprofessional of this practice.
