Dr. Szachowicz is exceptional! He is honest, caring and extremely talented. Whatever your needs, he will deliver. You will not be disappointed.

I have been seeing him for a couple years now. He is the best, please check out my “real self” review for more details. He is great with major surgeries, filler/Botox, and now PLLA threads. His attention to detail is over the top and he spends a lot of time getting things perfect in his planning before he does anything. He truly knows the face, risks, he won’t sell you anything you don’t need and he understands and is able to achieve natural look and realistic goals that make you look refreshed. Also I believe he is the only one in Minnesota that does PLLA threads right now. PDO is popular but does not last as long as PLLA. Better value IMO to get PLLA. If you care about your face getting filler and Botox from an actual surgeon is best. Less risk overall with a surgeon and medical doctor than going to a filler clinic. IMO. I have had several procedures done by Dr. Szachowicz. Each time his meticulous attention to my comfort and care, far exceeded my expectations and experiences at other clinics. Dr. Scachowicz does all of the procedures himself. You will never have techs working on your face so you can be assured of getting the best possible care and feel confident in Dr. Scachowicz' years of experience. One of the procedures I had done was the Fraxel laser (CO2 laser). I cannot say enough about how effective this laser treatment is. I am sixty and time and time again I have people guess that I am in my 40's. This is due to the Fraxel laser. It greatly diminished (all but erased) my age spots, hyper pigmentation, fine lines and large pores. This procedure is not for sissies, but I will say that Dr. Szachowicz goes above and beyond in preparing you for what you can expect and for your comfort. The after care is crucial and he spends a great deal of time teaching you how to take care of your face during the weeks following. I cannot recommend Fraxel laser and Dr. Scachowicz enough. On my journey to find my best self after 69 years of a well-lived life, I was fortunate to meet Dr Szachowicz. His years of surgical expertise in the field of facial cosmetic enhancement as well as his ability to to approach each patient with an artistic perspective and appreciation enables him to perform what is necessary to achieve a more youthful, yet age appropriate look. His recommended treatment for me was full facelift and necklift. I truly appreciated the time he painstakingly took explaining each procedure, expectations, and recovery. His post-op follow-up is remarkable. He strives for perfection. The frosting on the cake was the Halo treatment and selectively placed fillers to amend the voids where my active exercise regimen and aging had taken its toll. WOW! I called for consultation because of all of the happy previous clients, who shared their experiences with me. Getting older, I was having "the family drooling down the marionette lines" legacy. I appreciated Dr. Szachowicz's taking his time with me discussing all the questions I had. He helped me to feel safe making the decision WITH him. One session and the drooling had stopped. I've been to several big name dermatologists in the area, spent several k, sometimes with unreliable results that the doc will only "fix" by booking you for another appointment and then hurrying to their next patient. BUT that is not how Dr Szachowicz operates, and he really deserves more recognition. The big difference is he takes the time to meet with you individually, sometimes taking half an hour or more to hear your issues (over the phone the first visit, which doc takes time to call instead of having front desk do it?), explain the options as well as the human anatomy so you understand why some procedures are better over others for YOU. I've never felt pressured; during some of the procedures like botox, we did trial and error to get results that left me VERY satisfied. I had to take some painkillers after one of the injections and his front desk associate (who is also just the nicest person) gave me muffins to get over an upset stomach following the pills. I mean, come on! Muffins <3 Anyhow, I would recommend Dr. Szachowicz if you just need a local, reliable cosmetic surgeon (I've only gotten cosmetic treatments like botox, injectables so far). Dr. Szachowicz has been so wonderful and caring. I have been going to him for the last 2 years, my results have been wonderful. He's been doing fillers and Botox on my face. Every time, I look amazing! He is truly talented. After the lockdown his practice didn't open right away, so I ended up going to a different surgeon for under eye filler. That was a costly mistake. I developed puffy pockets under my eyes and blueish lines. Thankfully, Dr. Szachowicz opened up his practice shortly after, he dissolved the fillers first then after two weeks, he did my under eyes the correct way. Dr. Szachowicz was recently elected Top Doctor of 2019 in the Mpls/St Paul Magazine. He is most deserving of this honor. My first procedure with him was in 1996 and he is undoubtedly the best of the best. Congratulations Doctor!

Dr. Szachowicz did dermal fillers on my nasolabial folds and marionett lines. The results are beautiful. It took so many years off my face and made me look more fresh. Dr. Szachwicz showed genuine care. He spent a surprising amount of time prepping me for fillers and he slowly injected them. I had been wanting to correct my smile lines and marionett lines for awhile, but I was really nervous about it. I didn't want to look over done. I finally decided to make an appointment and get it done. I am so glad I found Dr. Szachowicz. He is knowledgeable, thorough, friendly and highly skilled. I can't stop looking at my face. I missed my first appointment (which I had been anxiously awaiting for so long as I had pain in my jaw from clenching teeth) and was told to never come back. While this doctor may be fantastic, they are missing warmth and care for the patient.

It is unfortunate that after being a very satisfied pt of Dr. Sz for many years, I am no longer allowed in the office with no fathomable explanation. I stopped by to see Sz and ask his opinion re an issue. I was met with some weird talk from his clerk mouthpiece who explained that I am barred from the premises because I asked that advertisements from their office not be mailed to my address for privacy purposes. This seems to be a rational request. What are they covering up? Pt neglect?

Dr Szachowicz helps you to look like how you feel on the inside. He takes care of the lines, furrows and deep creases that creep into our face as we start to get older. I have seen other Cosmetic Surgeons, but none holds a candle to the knowledge and expertise of Dr S. I felt that throughout the entire experience I was treated with the utmost respect . My voice was heard! I was treated with care and concern every step of the way! Dr. Szachowicz is extremely professional. He treated me as if I was the only patient he had during each and every visit!

Dr. Szachowicz took on my case when another local plastic surgeon said she could not help me. Dr. Szachowicz was kind, patient, and caring. He gave me specific directions for skin care and created a plan with Refissa and Sculptra that literally took 10 years off my appearance over about 4 months. I will be forever grateful for his medical expertise, his vision to see the possibilities for me, and his artistic application of the products he used. He goes above and beyond for his clients.

I can't say enough good things about my experience at Facial Plastic Sugery. Recently, I had Fraxel Laser Skin Resurfacing, hoping to improve the deep lines that had developed around my mouth. I could not have been happier with the results. The improvement is amazing. I've seen Dr Szachowics, several times in the past, he is always attentive, thorough, professional and has the eye of an artist. He explains things clearly, and has a pleasant, calm demeanor.

I previously saw a plastic surgeon for botox who placed the needle in the wrong area which resulted in drooped eye lids for several weeks while on vacation in France. I was reluctant to try botox again but was told Dr. Szachowicz was the best....and he is. I have been a loyal patient for 15 years
