Absolutely love ❤️ love ❤️ love ❤️ Dr Snell. He got to the root of my hip pain and took excellent care of me! Recommended the best surgeon in our tri-state area and had a full hip replaced with Stryker - I recommend Dr. Snell to all my friends.

Love Dr. Snell he saved my life . Out of 30 doctors he was the only one to help me get back on my feet after having post concussion syndrome. I wish we had more Doctors like him. I have never had a Doctor be so compassionate and to the point. I always love his staff they are all excellent and made sure I got referred to the right Doctors to get the treatment I need.

I've known Dr. Snell for 20yrs, and I trust him with my life, as well as the people who I love. He listens to you, takes you seriously, is completely honest, and will give you his honest opinion. He really cares about you, and wants to see you healthy and happy. He came to see me on Christmas one time, when I was in Allegheny General Hospital, from a problem that happened at another hospital. I've had a lot of health problems over the past 20+ years, and have met many doctors... most of them mediocre or worse. He's definitely one of the good ones.

This is the worst place I've ever been to. Over an hour wait just in the waiting room trying to get called to the back. I spoke to receptionist and said I've been waiting over an hour she said I was next they come out and call someone else. 70 minutes in waiting room !!!!

He is great doctor. He has help me with my knees. I trust what he tells me 100%. He the best.

Recently my son sprained his ankle being a happy, playful 7 year old kid. We were seen at our local hospital, and given DR Snell’s information as a referral for my son. I called to make an appointment the same day my son was released from our local hospital. Appointment was set. Easy peasy. Upon arrival we signed in, and waited to be seen. We were called back, the nurse took us to our room, and spoke to us. She was friendly, and told us to hang out, the DR would be in shortly. Five minutes later we were told the DR had an emergency, and would be running late. No problem. 30 minutes later the DR arrived and looked over my sons ankle. He was pleasant, friendly, and really engaged with my son. He even went as far as showing my son a picture of his Tuscan (picture on his phone) My son loves animals, and just recently went to the pet expo. Dr. Snell was so apologetic, and extremely polite with the most amazing soft skills. I understand things like this happen, and wasn’t upset at all. My son was hurt, and I would of sat there all day. DR Snell evaluated my sons ankle, and we left with a boot, and my sons already crutches. We were told to come back in 2 weeks. We made the appointment, and were to be back Jan 28th. We went to the Wexford office, but for whatever reason we were scheduled at the cranberry office for the Jan 28th follow up. No problem. Unfortunately the day of my sons appointment I had my own medical emergency, and had to be seen by my Dr. (I just recently had major surgery and am having a lot of complications) I called into Dr Snells office, and let them know I had to reschedule the appointment. I kept apologizing. No one asked why (I would of gladly explained If needed.) I asked for the next available appointment. Anytime. They said it would be February 25th. They are busy so I take the appointment :) The very next day I called into the office as a worried mom. I explained that my sons appointment is now feb 25th but medically I wanted to inquire if he should keep the boot on until the next appointment or take it off? That’s all. Nothing more or less. I just didn’t know what to do. I received a phone call from Kate? Kat? Offering me an appointment sooner than feb 25th but not anytime during the week of the 3rd because the dr will not be available due to spring training. No problem. I call back. I leave a message. Kat calls back, and leaves a second voicemail. We are playing phone tag. I call Kat back, and she offered me an appointment Friday, today (Jan 31st) at 245pm. I take it. I even made sure that it was indeed for this Friday. She said and I quote “yes this week because spring training starts next week.” Everything per Kat is set. I leave work early. I get my son from school early. I drive 38 minutes away to get my son to his follow up appointment. We get there. I sign in and let them know my son is here for dr snell 245. With a huge smile on her face she alerts me that dr snell isn’t in today. What? But I had an appointment, per Kate today before the dr goes on spring break. Another office member just jumps into my conversation and alerts me it’s spring training not spring break. That was uncalled for. Why are two different office staff being So unprofessional? At this point I’m quiet. I don’t know what to do or say. No one said sorry. No one apologized for the mix up. No one took control to be sincere. While I was standing there another patient came to sign in. The person at the desk just looked past me to speak to her. It was as If I scheduled my own appointment in their system incorrectly. I left the office, and called the location to see who I could speak to. Rachel schedules me a new appointment for feb 6th. But spring training? Anyway we schedule the appointment. She offers to let me speak to her team lead, Robert in regards to what happened. He gets on the phone, I explain what happened. Again. After listening he says “we do have a lot of people in and out of that office.” (What????????) I stopped Robert to tell him to have a great weekend, and hung up. Best of the best there is! Don’t waste your time on other doctors! Been seeing him for years and he’s the only doctor that has actually done what he’s supposed to do.

Dr. Snell has treated everyone in my family. I would and have recommended him to many people. He is personable and takes the time to explain his diagnosis and answer all questions.

I am a disabled Veteran. Dr. Snell did things for me that the VA would never do. He sought out the best braces and custom prosthetics to improve my mobility. I really think the world of him and his staff is wonderful.

All I must say is from the time you are greeted and checked in to the end of your appointment you are treated kindly and caring. I have been going to Dr. Snell for many years and continue to enthusiastically recommended him to others. He has alleviated or cured both chronic and acute conditions, thus helping me to maintain a fairly good quality of life. Dr. Snell is a very competent, caring, patient person with a refreshing sense of humor. He takes time with me and makes me feel valued as a person. His staff are courteous, competent, and helpful. Dr. Snell is by far the most genuine, caring, knowledgeable orthopedic doctor. He is a rarity in a healthcare business that a lot of times looses sight of the patient as a person. Dr. Snell takes the time to listen and is so encouraging. I wish there were more doctors like him.

Dr. Edward Snell takes the time to actually listen to what I have to say; he takes it seriously; and he also orders the necessary tests. He demonstrates a compassionate conservative approach by not recommending a med &/or treatment just because it's the commonly accepted solution. Dr. Snell is trustworthy & absolutely wonderful. His staff if great too. They are very courteous when approaching you from the waiting area. They respond to calls in ample amount of time. Very satisfied.

Dr. Snell diagnosed my problem and got the process going to fix it when nobody else could! I had been to two other sports medicine type physicians both of whom had completely misdiagnosed my issue. Instead, Dr Snell listened to what I said and took it seriously and ordered the necessary tests which showed that I had a hip problem (piriformis syndrome) rather than a back problem. He also demonstrated that he supports conservative, non-surgical approaches to treatment whenever possible.

Dr. Snell is absolutely wonderful. He listens to his patients. He is comprehensive in the testing he does without going overboard. He treats his patients with respect and refers you to the best specialist if needed.
