Dr. Rensimer himself as a doctor is excellent and very knowledgeable, his staff on the other hand, Miranda is difficult to deal with and rude. You have to hound her for any kind of answer or assistance.

My husband Jesse and I will forever be thankful to Dr. Rensimer and all of his staff. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and had a finger in infection due to a dog bite, when every other doctor was preparing us for the worst, Dr Rensimer gave us hope. He was able to save his finger along with the surgeon he referred us to for dead tissue removal. May God continue to bless Dr Rensimer and all of his staff for the great work and great service that they provide to all patients.

I can not thank enough Dr. Rensimer and his staff. He saved me from having a major health problem. You might wait longer than expected the first visit, trust me, is worth it. His knowledge and experience are over the top, he is old school, conservative physician.

The smartest doc in town. Knows medicine and current medical research. A humanitarian in personal life. Not an alarmist. Very good human being.

Absolutely the best physician in his field of expertise .I am categorically stating that he is a doctors doctor. His diagnostic skills are unmatched .He tackles the most challenging cases that others cannot handle. Dr. Rensimer has taken care of myself and my family. I am most grateful to him and his staff. I saw Dr. Rensimer for a foot infection following bunion surgery. He clearly knows what he’s doing and has a gentle manner. His nursing staff is also excellent and very efficient. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Rensimer is a great M.D. He saved not only my husband's leg but his life! After getting 3 different opinions from specialist to amputate his leg. He ran a battery of tests for me and gave me a lot of information, helping me find answers to my concerns and ruling out troubling diagnoses. Dr. Rensimer Is an excellent doctor. I saw him when my pulmonologist was trying to find the etiology of necrotic lesions in my lungs- very scary for me! Dr. Rensimer ran a battery of tests and did a thorough job. Very professional, supportive, informative, and kind. I would highly recommend him.

Rude and condescending.

When I’ve signed in, I’ve asked we can postpone today appointment if I need to wait longer. The lady at the reception said no. I left without seeing doctor after waiting 1 hour 50 min.

My fiancé came in with an issue the staff made him panic and feel much worse. We’re all abt the money, the nurse basically started consulting like she was the doctor and was giggling abt the situation and in her words how bad the situation was. He ended up leaving and calling the Harris county CDC which an expert got on the phone and gave him very rational information and a better approach to his problem and basically told him that lady had no idea what she was talking abt. The expert found him the same procedure for one fourth of the cost and told him where to go. I would not trust an office who has the front staff already consulting you abt your issue while making you feel 100% worse and more concerned abt payment while telling what treatment you already need. I was trying to schedule appointment with Natasha today for Dr. Ransimer Edward because I am concern about the bite of the animal and annual check up. I am shocked with the way the call was handled. She said that people died every day and she does not care. I am shocked !!! I never provide low star feedback. But this poor service kind of service needs to be known! I would not rate this dr with any high scores. I got an appointment to see Dr Renismer in a week. My appointment lasted about an hour and he sent me for tests. I had to call for two weeks to get the blood tests back. The other test I could not get an answer for one month. I called everyday for a week and never got a response. I emailed and still no response. When I finally called and told them to send my results to my Dr. they then called and apologized for not getting back to me. I did my medical for my Saudi visa today. The main nurse helping me was fantastic. She was very friendly and made things easy in a fun way. I also got very specific advise on what vaccinations are mandatory and what is recommended. Thanks for such a convenient experience!

Dr. Rensimer saved my life in 2016 when I was close to death from sepsis caused by another physician. Dr. Rensimer had to start me on 8 antibiotics and take away an antibiotic when he saw I did not have the bacteria that each antibiotic treated. I ended up on 3 antibiotics via IV for 8 weeks. Dr Rensimer was very good about answering our questions in detail. He is a magnificent doctor and he knows it. He's not very friendly with hospital staff. But that's not what I was interested in. He treated me very well, saved my life, taught us a lot about infections and never failed to explain my condition in detail. Now he will be treating our grown grandson who has had pneumonia since April ( I'm writing this in June 2020). Our grandsons infection has gone from his lungs to his blood. He is septic. The hospital that treated him was inadequate. I would gladly go to a doctor that is great and knows what he's doing and is pompous that to an in adequately trained doctor.

Ed is kind, clear, thoughtful, attentive and most importantly understands rabies better than anybody I've encountered in the field. He understands what matters, what doesn't, and what you should and shouldn't do, and gives it to you straight. He's a pleasure to speak with. The doctor is a liar! In his multiple paged preamble that you have to read and sign, he says he will not kick you to the curb like a can. That’s exactly what happened to me. He saw me for one appointment, then decided he didn’t want to accept my insurance on the second visit. They couldn’t get me out of the door fast enough on that visit. He doesn’t care if I’m suffering with some kind of disease, if I’m not making him money then I’m not worth it apparently. Keep your fingers crossed that I don’t die. The new patient paperwork will give you anxiety when you read about everything they will charge you for, from making copies to taking up their time with your requests. I suggest finding a doctor that actually cares, even though that’s becoming harder and harder.

I would not recommend anyone to visit this doctor without taking your attorney with you to read and advise you as a patient before signing any of his paper work, the paper work is very extensive and overwhelming as to his fees and how he will be paid regardless if you have insurance or not . The office is more concerned about how and how much they will charge you for everything including their fee for a prescription re-fill than they are about seeing you as a patient and your well being. I became a complicated case this year and finally found Dr. Reinsimer after numerous failed visits with many other doctors. He is knowledgeable, a good listener and was like a detective in finding/treating a diagnosis. Unfortunately there are not many doctors like him-many are too specialized and can only deal with their own body system/problem. His practice seems very busy and I have had some rather long waits, but i do remember that I was probably one of those patients backing the schedule up. Dr. Rensimer always took the time to answer all my questions.

Dr Rensimer is very thorough in his pursuit of what the problems are and how to fix them. He is very honest about what needs to be done and why. He makes sure you understand about your situation. I highly recommend him.

I have known Dr. Rensimer for 29 years. I am alive because of him. He knows a patient will tell you what is wrong by listening. He does not miss a thing. Ask around. This is who the other doctors send their complicated, failing, patients to. He is a very kind and genuine man. Well worth the wait. If you feel something is not going your way with his staff all you need to do is let him know. It will be fixed. A mega credit to his profession and our City.

This guy is not a charmer - he is a doctor. He is a big picture guy - ID docs have to be this way. I don't care about his bedside manner... He saved my Mother's life because he actually listened to her and figured out what was wrong when no one else could. A+

I've been seeing Dr. Rensimer for several years, first for international travel and later also as my internal medicine physician. He listens, is thoughtful and fully explains any diagnosis or medication. He will also go to all ends in order to solve a medical problem. I'm impressed with how much he continues to read and stay on top of the latest medical advances. I agree that sometimes the waits can be long, but worth waiting versus going somewhere else.

Dr Rensimer is the best doctor in his field. He is conservative I’m treatment, listens to all your concerns, looks at all your medical history and makes the best decisions based on your needs. His staff is great. I miss his wife Jane, a nurse who retired. But- he is excellent and I’m thankful for him.

I called for an appointment and got one immediately. Great staff.

Dr. Rensimer and staff are rare find in Houston. Trying to get in to see an I.D. specialist seems to require booking over a month out in advance in Houston. Rensimer's office made it a point to see me right away with the caveat that I might need to wait awhile once I got there. The staff returns calls promptly and the doc made a point to answer all my questions. Much appreciated.

If you can kill a day waiting on this dr. then great. We were there for 2.5 hrs in waiting room and then another hour waiting on dr for 5- 10 min of his time. SO NOT WORTH IT. It also took a week for appt since they rarely answer the phone and keep you on hold forever AND do not return messages.

I have a very complicated health history and I've stumped a lot of medical professionals. Dr. Rensimer gave me hope and knew exactly what to do. I was very ill when I came to him and now I'm back to work full time. He gave me my life back. The wait time is the only negative thing I can say about his office. I know he gives the time and attention to each patient, so this is the nature of the beast. Saying this, I'd rather wait to see him than see anyone else.

I would recommend Dr. Rensimer in a heartbeat. He was so professional and kind he realize my anxiety immediately and placed me at ease. He listened intently to my saga and had looked at my previous records. He knew immediately his next staff. All staff were fabulous and kept me posted as to what our next step was. They were kind and compassionate. The office is somewhat still under construction but is still efficient. Kiki, the first person I spoke with was fabulous. Thank you all!

I had a very serious infection in my left hand which was moving up my arm. Dr. Rensimer systematically diagnosed the disease and gave me the right antibiotic which saved my hand and arm. Dr. Rensimer knows his business when it comes to infectious diseases and I was blessed to get referred to him by Dr. Lopez.

I posted something about their office not getting me a response to my Zika test. I spoke to them yesterday and my emails were not going through. I called yesterday and got a response today. Change to 5 star, my fault. A Hunt
