Dr. Middlebrooks is very patient answering questions and addresses all concerns. I would send my loved ones to him in a heartbeat.

Answers all questions before and after surgery.

Have been seeing Dr Middlebrooks for 10 years. He has done L4-L5 fusion, L5-S1 Micro dis e tiny and will perform L3-L4 Fusion this month. I find him to be extremely knowledgeable, highly trained and skilled and is willing to take whatever time necessary to explain why procedures are needed and answer any questions I might have. I highly recommend Dr. Middlebrooks,

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My aunt has been suffering with severe back pain and sciatica, to the point of barely being able to walk. After considerable time spent trying to get in for appointments, she finally set her surgery for 3-22-22. Late in the afternoon of 3-21-22, while hiding behind his nurse, he cancelled her surgery! He wouldn't speak with her directly, and the excuse given was he "has" to go out of town and he doesn't want to do her surgery and then leave. He should not have scheduled her, he should have planned better, he should have arranged for another surgeon to perform the surgery. He should/could have arranged for another attending surgeon to follow up post-surgically. This woman is suffering. He should have been more professional. I was not surprised when I encountered his arrogant attitude, it comes with the profession, but his inability to empathize and allow his patient to suffer. We will be looking for another specialist.

Dr. Middlebrooks took a conservative approach when I came to him in severe pain. He ordered an MRI and I jumped on it and it to him asap. Once he saw the large herniated disc he got me back in and scheduled for surgery the next week. I was a little nervous because of the reviews, but the treatment I got far exceeded my expectations. Who would have thought you could have a fusion on an outpatient basis. Awesome team, excellent care on-site and followed up with several calls. The pain down my arm was gone when I came to. So glad I went to Dr. Middlebrooks and his excellent staff!

Sorry Dr. .......that I suggest you never use.. his staff left me in the examination room and went home... he was treating me yet he didn’t know what he was treating me for..... he ordered test that his staff forgot to order.....I am in more pain than when I saw him

If you make the mistake I did and stick with him. You will feel my pain of being treated like cattle with price tags hanging on my head. He doesn’t listen to patients and as soon as he steps in he walks right out. I never got a true exam from him. After making the mistake I went to a real doctor who sat down with me and listened. After listening to me he did not one, not two, but many physical tests on me. The real doctor also looked over all my pictures and found many concerns.

I saw the Middlebrooks Team about my back and was pleased with their courtesy and the knowledge they shared concerning the pain I was experiencing. I have since gone to therapy and my back no longer hurts. Thank you for your help!

Dr. Middlebrooks failed to read my MRI. Luckily I got a copy and saw readily that I had kidney cancer! This immediately followed my visit to learn the results of my MRI where he stated to my husband and I that I was fine.....that the lesions on my kidney were not significant. If he had read the last line of the first page into the second page of the MRI report, he would have readily seen the cancerous lesion. A quick phone call to my urologist and an immediate scan confirmed the MRI report.

He order Physical Therapy on my shoulder without even looking at the MRI report. Otherwise he would have seen even in the report it said there was a tear. Fortunately for me, I had a copy of the report and got a second opinion.
