Dr. Edward Chandler Mcdavid

A very professional and knowledgeable doctor. Doesn't try to oversell you anything you don't need which is uncommon these days. Entire staff is friendly and helpful. They were very flexible with scheduling and changing my appointment times. As a retired health provider myself, it is always refreshing to see more clinically capable healthcare professionals with a highly personable nature. Would recommend to anyone looking for an excellent primary care physician with extensive general surgery experience.

As far as overall physician quality is concerned, if you're looking for a dime, you've found a diamond. Dr. McDavid is a first rate physician with respect to his medical knowledge, diagnostic acumen, clinical skills, caring and friendly bedside manner. You will ever rarely find a physician with qualities like Dr. McDavid, especially in a small town like Washington County, but if you do, KEEP that physician until he/she retires! Dr. McDavid's staff is wonderful too!. Everyone is always smiling.

He took a lot of time with me, recommended things no other doctors had that really helped, then shortly after my first visit, he diagnosed pneumonia. I was very sick for a long time, and he was always there for me. Much better now, and I'm glad I found this kind and respectful Doctor.
