Visited with my teenage daughter. His treatment was accurate however he, his office staff, and his office policies made us feel like we were just another "number" and all he wanted was our money. Felt like they were glad we were there because they wanted our money now lets get down to business and thanks for paying us. I have never felt this insignificant in a doctor's office, ever. Another family member had an appointment and was charged a cancellation fee for the appointment, granted it was the day, but could not predict the kiddo would wake up sick. Never saw the doctor, never will because being charged for never having a patient record on file is not good for business. His beside manner with a teenage daughter was below average considering he was seeing a teen.

Dr McCarthy always meets my needs in a friendly and professional manner.

Dr McCarthy is the best. My husband and I have both seen him for several years!

The receptionists were rude, for no reason.

After years of being a patient was dropped because I had not been in a while and on Medicare. They would not take me back as I would be considered a new patient and don't take new Medicare patients! Cut me off trying to ask a question - very rude.

Dr Edward McCarthy has been taking care of my skincare problems for many years and I feel very lucky to have him as my doctor. He is kind, very considerate, and explains things to me in a way that I can understand. His staff has always gotten me in to see him in a very short time and if I have an emergency they are very accommodating. I'm very happy with Amarillo Dermatology and reccomend them to everyone wanting an excellent Dermatologist.

Dr. McCarthy takes his time with his patients and gives a very thorough exam. I have all the faith and trust in his medical skills. He is kind and considerate. I feel that he is interested in me as his patient.

Great Doctor! Very professional and thorough! Also very personable!

Dr. McCarthy is a great physician with a comfortable bed-side manner; however, his employees in the office are not as wonderful. The ladies are very rude and short with patients. There is apparently no one in charge (at least that was what I was told when I asked to speak with the Office Manager), and the employees are less than helpful. Not one employee could answer my questions and they didn't seem real concerned with the lack of information or customer service they could provide.

I feel like he didn't take enough time listening to my concerns. He spoke the majority of the appointment and was somewhat condescending to me when I did get to speak. I don't feel like I was diagnosed accurately.
