Dr. Edward Lafleur

I've never had a doctor who cared more for his patients. His staff is equally caring and helpful. We couldn't ask for better.

I am deeply grateful for the care, expertise, and dedication of Dr. Edward Lafleur for helping me to live my best life possible. His dedication to diet and the importance of having a healthy gut solved many issues that I had in the past. He also emphasized the importance of daily exercise to support muscle and bone health as I age.

Dr. Edward Lafleur is absolutely awesome! He is very caring, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor. 5 star rating hands down! He will listen to you and work with you to find a solution/diagnosis.

Dr. Ed Lafleur is my family physician and a friend. He takes more time listening rather than talking. He is easy to talk to. Dr Lafleur practices healthcare like he cares about health. Of course he practices medicine. But he doesn’t practice medicine only. That would be too easy for him. He is a true healthcare professional and I am so fortunate to have found him. I wish all doctors were as smart, taught as well, and cared as much!

I highly recommend Dr LaFleur for his knowledge and the time he takes educating me about my health at every session. His approach to health resolved my health issues when no other doctor could. He also has the best side manor!!!!

I was a patient of Dr. Lafleur before he joined the VIPMD, left him for 4 years once he joined MDVIP, and so pleased to have connected back with Dr. Lafleur. He is so compassionate about medicine and specifically about my well being. I must share this story; I had been struggling with internal stomach issues for 8 months. After several months visiting my local gastro physician, then with three procedures with no results and still struggling. I was then referred to Ochsners hospital for help. Two procedure and no results. My FIRST visit with Dr. Lafleur he identified my issue! I have been pain free and enjoying my life. Best decision I've ever made going back with Dr. Lafleur. Dr Ed has change my life in so many ways, from weight lost to diabetes control, and the way I use to look at thing I was doing wrong, like eatting habits.

Dr. Lafleur was responsible for my making changes to my lifestyle and improving my health 'scores' for a healthier me! Besides the fact that I never have to wait in the waiting room to see a doctor.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. LaFleur. From his incredibly positive, relaxed demeanor to his thorough explanations, I cannot say enough positive about him. He found out I enjoyed taking my son hunting and the next year, texted me a picture of he and his daughter, while they were hunting! This is the way medicine should work!

I was referred to Dr Lafleur a little over a year ago while looking for a Dr who could help me improve my health while doing a low carbohydrate high fat eating lifestyle. Since our initial meeting I have been VERY pleased with him. I have learned so much on this journey so far and my health is greatly improved. I have lost 40 lbs and my blood pressure and blood work looks good. With all of the information and dis-information out there it is good and important to find someone that can help you achieve your goals and practice preventative health care as opposed to reactive health care.
