Edward A Hatt

Had been going to Dr Hatt for about 6 years, However I only saw him a few times as I always saw the nurse practitioner. I had a physical and Dr Hatt messed up the labs, so I had to go get my blood drawn twice. I wasn't too concerned because I thought my insurance covered it. Little did I know my insurance only covered one blood draw a year. Didn't matter anyway because Dr Hatt did not code it correctly in the first place. I received a bill for each blood draw. I was not going to pay the bills period. He screwed up. I tried numerous times to get this resolved, even my insurance company (BCBS) called his office a few times, I even wrote a letter to his office and not once did his office call me. This went on for months. It wasn't till 4 months later that someone at the hospital took care of it, I will never go back to Dr Hatt. He just blew me off, I'm sure he didn't care about the bills I received as a result of inability to do his job correctly and take responsibility. If he can't get his coding right and take care of a clerical error, how can he take care of my health? There are too many other good doctors around to be treated like this.

He took his time with his questions and monitored my answers to make sure that he understood my physical as well as my mental conditions. I felt he really cares about his patients. He did not look for a temporary solution to band aid my problem, but he took his time and look at all the variables before subscribing any medicines. He is straight shooter and I trust him with his decisions.

This dr. is dangerous!!!! He prescribed Klonopin for friend's refractory RLS & I told him it would probably just make it worse but he took it bc he wouldn't give him anything we suggested that worked!! Horrible affliction got 10x worse, no sleep for days!! Also called Dr. HATT's office 5x talked to nurse, nothing, he was supposed to call in my blood pressure meds, been waiting NINE days!! My heart is racing, the stent in my neck is throbbing, l am afraid l am going to have another stroke, they don't care if you DIE, stay away from this so called "DR" !!!! This dr. is dangerous!!!! Dr. Hatt has been my primary care physician for most of my life; he is not only the best doctor but also a genuinely great person with great integrity.

Great physician. Dr. Hatt has been my doc for many years. Terrific listener, very good interested in my complete health, and he’s smart. I trust him.

Dr Edward Hatt has been my personal physician for longer than I can remember. He has been there for me, trusts me, and listens to me. Dr. Hatt has taken excellent care of my wife and I for twenty years or more. He has gone above and beyond many times over the years, offering his reasoned professional opinions in language I understand. He personalizes his approach to match and meet the peculiarities of my mental processes and roster of concerns. As we age our medical problems multiply, and he is always on track, up-to-date and willing to explore new tests and treatments. As a personal aside, he is as close to a friend as a doctor can be. Dr Hart has a good head on his shoulders. He genuinely listens to his patients and has excellent bedside manners. He respects people and their uniqueness. He is wise both in medical knowledge and in interacting with patients and staff.
