Very few Doctors will treat you like an intelligent individual and actually be proactive. Dr. Giove and his staff have built a great culture. I hate getting sick, but I always look forward to seeing Dr. Giove.

I was a patient of Dr. Giove for approximately 15 years. Overall the doctors I saw he was the most amazing. Thanks to Dr. Giove I was diagnosed early enough with breast cancer that my treatment involved only surgery and radiation and I am now cancer free.

Dr. Giove is our family physician and we are very happy with the medical service he provides to us. Dr. Giove is always available to us, even at the last minute, and he practices with a holistic - honest/direct approach. His staff is wonderful, you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Giove has been my primary care doctor for 16 years. He has a wonderful bedside manner, and very professional. The staff is always courteous and caring which is very much needed when you're not feeling good.

I was minutes late for an appointment and was turned away after a 45 minute drive. No one had the decency to call or text me this so-called policy. Never heard it before. Very knowledgeable, listens and the very best bed side manner.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Giove since 2014. He is thorough, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Giove welcomes questions and offers understandable explanations. The office is spotless and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. We don't mind driving from Summerville to see him.

Would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I recommended my mother to see him after reading such good reviews. I really wanted her to have a second opinion as all her current medications haven't been working for some time. This man told my mother that it was pretty much in her head.. If you have any mental health concerns I say you will have better luck elsewhere.

Great experience so far with Dr. Giove. My husband and I both see him and we are very happy with his experience and background. His wife is also very helpful and works in the office . His office is a great addition to Daniel Island.

I highly recommend Dr. Giove. I saw him for years when he was in practice with Palmetto Primary Care Physicians and when he joined Roper St. Francis Physician Partners in 2017, I transferred my records to his new practice so I could continue seeing him. When Dr. Giove left Roper St. Francis Physician Partners and started his own practice in Daniel Island, I stopped seeing him since I wanted a doctor closer to Summerville. Over the last 2 years while seeing another doctor(s), I have been so disappointed in the lack of individualized quality of care I received and decided to drive down to Daniel Island and see him at his new practice. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Giove. He is laid back, remembers you, and treats you as an individual. He takes the time to listen and provides quality personalized care. I’ve seen Dr.Giove for a long time and having someone who actually stops to listen and really talk with me about my health has made all of the difference in my life.

I was a patient for roughly 17 years and I have never had a Dr that was so wonderful. I live in Summerville and am contemplating following him!

I saw Dr. Giove for the first time today. We relocated from Northern VA to SC for work. He was very nice and professional. He managed to get a dislocated rib back into place (I have hyper mobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) and gave me a cortisone shot for my shoulder. Very professional and caring. Beautiful new office. I live on Daniel Island and plan on living here for many years to come and was looking for a family doctor close to home to help manage my care and help with preventative medicine. It took me 7 yrs since moving here to find a suitable Primary physician which he is. Best by far I have found. It would be considerate by the practice to let us know where he moved on to as I too am under his care.

Dr. Giove is an excellent doctor. I received a letter saying that he is no longer with this service. I called Roper St. Francis and was told they don't know of his new practice location. Does anyone know where his new office is located?

I have been a patient of Dr. Giove for 12 years. He represents the standards of what every doctor should strive to achieve. He is knowledgeable, confident and caring.

I chose Dr Giove as my primary care physician when I came back into the Roper system because of a positive experience getting to know him when I worked for a Hospice in the area. I have been very pleased as Dr Giove always addresses my needs and is very thorough in every aspect of my care. I would highly recommend him to others.

Dr. Giove has been my primary doctor for 13 years, including diagnosing an artery blockage - 95% blocked -- thus he saved me from having a heart attack, and most likely saved my life. He gets to the bottom of the issues and offers solutions. He is now my wife's primary doctor -- and I only recommend the best to my wife!

Dr.Giove is one of the best doctors I’ve had since living in SC. He listens and really try’s to understand what it is that may concern you as a patient. Along with a little humor, that never hurts, he makes you feel comfortable while in his care.

Dr. Giove has been my primary doctor for over 10 years. He is without question the doctor that we all hope to find: understanding, open, friendly, available, knowledgeable, trustworthy and I could go on listing traits. I have recommended him to both friends and co-workers without ever having to doubt that they would be satisfied with his services. If I had to choose from all the doctors around, I would choose Dr. Giove without question.

He is the Best very sharp. take good care of me I would not change him. I will stay with him until the end. He is the best, His nurse is very good. both them take good care of. I would fallow him were ever he goes.

Dt.Giove is one of the best care i ever had

Dr. Giove is HIGHLY skilled, believe me. After 24 years of Military Medicine, I retired, and chose him as my PCM. Many an issue was and is still being resolved, he is what I consider a Dr. that cares for the well being of his patients. I recommend him to everyone I know.
