Dr. Edward Nicholas Cohill

My husband had experienced very low hemo and very high blood sugar and had been told by another physician to go immediately to ER, which we did. The BMC ER team (with exception of Cohill) were all professional and caring. Dr. Cohill and came in the room with a pompous, condescending attitude, he propped his arm on a monitor screen and asked "what's your problem". Not what brings you here, today. What can we do for you today or even "let's find out how we can help you" . After explaining our situation and telling him another doctor had given a diagnosis and instructed us to come to ER, he got a surly attitude and even insulted the other doctor's findings. My husband was in dire need of being admitted! But this man, this cold and condescending man sent my husband home to see our PCP. My husband. 76 years old, has heart problems, hemo problems and other health problems. He could have died! I can't say WHY this doctor mismanaged our care as he did but I will tell you.. avoid him!

He should not be allowed to be a doctor . He does not care and treats female patients like dirt. He does not listen and makes it seem to be the patients own fault that they are sick .

TERRIBLE doctor. Very sarcastic and condescending. I have NO CONFIDENCE in the diagnosis I received under his “care” on my recent trip to the ER.

My husband presented in the ER w/ difficulty breathing & chest pain. Blood work, Angio CT, chest x-ray and EKG were performed. Dr. Cohill diagnosed bronchitis. (My husband did not have any cough or congestion). When primary care Dr. learned about the diagnosis of bronchitis he vehemently disagreed. He felt that a visit to a cardiologist was warranted and a few days later we learned that my husband will have to undergo quadruple bypass surgery. The entire cardio diagnosis was missed by Cohill.

Was 2,3 degree burns and told i had a sunburn. After i had been burned by gasoline. Had smoke inhalation lost 80% of lung due to the misdiagnosis.
