Too unprofessional n apparently unreliable. Tried to set up an appointment told him my insurance company n he was completely clueless on whom I covered under. N I live in this neighborhood. What a joke. I’ll just go to another dental area

Dr. Cheppa and his staff are great. I had an emergency and was able to get an appointment the next day, even though it was Saturday. Dr. Cheppa was professional, honest and kind. Valerie, who works in the office was lovely and made figuring out my next appointment a breeze.

I just spoke with Dr. Cheppa on the phone because I had questions about my kids upcoming appointments. I found Dr. Cheppa to be very helpful and accommodating. I am looking forward to meeting him and his friendly staff in person next month!

Going to the dentist is never fun but I always look forward to seeing Dr. Cheppa and a super friendly staff every time I go. It's a great place to go to get dental work 11 out of 10

I have been going to Dr. Cheppa since I was little. My family has also been going to him for a long time as well. I have always had great experiences each time I go to him. He makes your cleaning fun and comfortable unlike most other doctor visits. So now my whole family and friends that I refer to him go to see Dr. cheppa.

Dr. Cheppa is fine as a person, I’m sure but as a dentist… Some off color jokes and silliness can be fun but most days he’s surly, annoyed and avoids getting any actual work done. I had a couple “cleanings” from him and his staff and they simply did not get done. He pokes around and looks for cavities for a few seconds while yanking your face around and poof, you’re done! I just went to a new dentist after a couple years with Cheppa and they said the could tell my teeth hadn’t been professionally cleaned or polished in quite some time. If I weren’t an obsessive brushed and flosser, there’s no way I wouldn’t be dealing with a bunch of cavities. Another young patient of his I know, went to him for advice on what to do after 4 teeth had been extracted. They were told by him to just get a partial denture and call it a day. No mention of the possibility of implants or anything other than having a young person wear a denture for the rest of their life. Lazy. If I had to sun it up, Lazy.

Dr. Cheppa and his staff are amazing! He truly cares about your oral health and makes sure you are well taken care of at each visit. One of the best in the city!

Overall positive experience. Dr. Cheppa has a great sense of humor and extremely helpful. They couldn't confirm my appointment ahead of time and I showed up on the wrong date, he was still able to squeeze me in. I went to get my teeth cleaned and checked. All he did was floss my teeth very hard, and put fluoride on my teeth and rinsed them and said I was done. He did not check for cavities or anything of that nature. I was literally out of the chair within 5 minutes. The lady was cursing and slamming doors. It was like he didn’t want to service me. I don’t know if it was because of color or what but they need to do better. I went to get my teeth cleaned and checked. I have been going to Dr. Cheppa for over 30 years and he is the only dentist I have ever had. That should be testimony enough as to his abilities, but it also needs to be said that he conducts himself with professionalism and care. He is always honest about what needs to be done, and I emphasize NEEDS to be done. While some dentists will push for all sorts of treatments and unnecessary add-ons, Dr. Cheppa does what is best for your health and your budget. Dr. Cheppa also invests his time in charitable causes, sharing his skills at low or no cost to care for those who cannot afford basic care, let alone the quality work he provides. His staff is ALWAYS friendly, courteous, and highly skilled. They make you feel welcome and part of the family. So, if you want a no-nonsense dentist who does fantastic work with a nice dose of humor on the side, Dr. Cheppa is for you! Dr. Cheppa and his staff were amazing, especially his assistant Valerie. They exceeded my expectations by far & I am highly satisfied with the ending results. My Veneer, bridge, and caps look amazing! I never thought in a million years that I would be able to get my teeth fixed but the pricing was extremely fair & I was able to do so. I've gotten so many compliments on my smile since, and I've gained much more confidence. He was able to accommodate my work schedule and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. I've been going for regular check ups at Dr. Cheppa's practice for about 2 years. The doctor and the other hygienists are professional and excellent at their work. Good mix of levity and honesty.

Dr. Cheppa is the best dentist I have ever been to. Had a previous dentist absolutely destroy my mouth. Pulled all my upper teeth taking all the bone as well. And then left we with dentures that couldn't fit right and never told me about taking all the bone.Dr Cheppa is the one to tell me what happened and has put me on track to have better dentures as well as taking care of all my lower teeth that became trouble some as well. This is the best dental practice that I have ever been to! From the time I spoke with him on the phone, Dr. Cheppa was very understanding and accommodating. It is nice to be able to smile and laugh in a dental office even though you may not be feeling 100%. I wish I would have went to him 10 years ago!

I love Dr. Cheppa and his staff. Great service and great bedside manor. The passion he has for his job puts me at ease, because I know he and his staff will take great care of my teeth. Him and his staff are very knowledgeable and easygoing. It is a bonus that he is open on Saturday. I'm glad I found my new dentist

For the first time in years, I’ve found a dentist that not only am I comfortable with.. he also doesn’t frighten the life out of me like some Pittsburgh dentists are known to do! Dr. Cheppa and his staff go above and beyond to provide affordable quality essential service, care and compassion to their patients and I couldn’t be more appreciative. Best Dentist Ever

Poor Horrible dentist! Very rude. This man basically kicked me out his office. They claimed they could not verify my insurance. Instead of saying they didn't accept it. I had been living in Wexford PA for a few years and decided to get another dentist for me and my two boys. The drive would have been too much. We are now only about 15 minutes away from his office and all I can say is I didn’t move to be close to Dr. Cheppa BUT THERE IS NO DENTIST I CAN EVER COMPARE TO HIM. He takes his time, always makes my 8 and 16 year old laugh and is honest. I would rate him a 10????
