Very friendly staff. Prompt service. DR Burns very nice, attentive, professional. Dr Burns was Recommended by a friend, who just had hand surgery .

In both elbows and both hands , surgery went amazingly great, Dr. Burns is down to earth and has helped provide me with full use of both arms and hands , this surgery also relieved much pain on the right side of my neck, all the swelling in my neck is gone also , I had fluid with swelling in neck and it is amazing what all this surgery has done for me , a very blessed staff also at the hospital and his office in sevierville, I was blessed with finding Dr. Burns , truly I thank him so very much !! Dr.Burns also helped my sister with her elbow surgery and she is blessed also !

Dr. Burns is thorough and makes every attempt to get to the source of the issue. He listened to my concerns, and helped me understand my options. He encouraged me to keep him up to date on my progress and come back if any changes. I felt comfortable and confident with his care.

I was very impressed with meeting and talking with Dr Burns. I had a good feeling about him the moment I met him. He seems to have a very positive yet calming nature about him. I also just spoke with Amanda, who is very nice!

Dr. Burns explained my condition very thoroughly and took his time. I did not feel rushed through the appt. He answered my questions. I am very impressed with him. Hope I don't end up needing surgery, but if I do, I know I will be well taken care of.

Dr. Burns has been my doctor for several years. He has helped me through several instances of trigger finger. He did surgery on my left thumb several years ago and will probably do same on the right thumb. He is very caring and kind at all times. Very professional. I hope he doesn’t retire any time soon.

I took a fall and broke my arm. It was a bad break (displaced) & ER doc had warned me it would likely require more than screws to fix. Dr. Burns saw me the day I called. I was seen before, not after, the appointment time. He explained in clear, simple terms what was needed, what to expect, options etc. I was comfortable asking questions. I was scheduled for surgery, had post op prescriptions and papers in my hand and headed home in no time. Couldn't ask for anything better!

Had sprain in back, arm and hand. Dr. Burns gave quick diagnosis and prescribed needed meds. Very positive experience.

Issue with my finger being swollen and very sore. Dr Burns very helpful to get it fixed.

Dr Burns is one a kind! He's genuinely down to earth, kind, compassionate, caring, extremely competent and listens to his patients. I've never felt rushed when visiting him. I would highly recommend him for anyone that needs a fabulous hand surgeon. He is the only hand surgeon in the Knoxville area I would ever go to!!

I came in for pain in my left hand and had 2 prior surgeries on it for carpal tunnel syndrome in NY. Dr. Burns REFUSED to do anything for my hand..no nerve conduction test, no Xray's...nothing!! He told me "Sometimes surgeries take, sometimes they don't. There's nothing I can do for you. I've checked you out. You can leave." I was dumbfounded!! This is my left hand and I'm left handed. I NEED my hand to not be numb or in pain, or swollen. I'm not looking to sue the doctor that did not correct it after 2 surgeries. I just want a doctor that knows how to and is willing to correct the problem in my hand.

In the 1st visit Dr. Burns was amazing! Very caring & suggested carpal tunnel surgery & revision surgery on both hands/wrists! RA has really gotten aggressive so I'm looking forward to having "no pain"!!

Dr. Burns himself is a very professsional, considerate doctor. He was thorough and efficient when helping my husband. The receptionist was a completely different matter. On our first visit, she was short and rude with us. We were 6 minutes late on our second visit due to searching for parking in the garage that was almost full. When my husband walked up to check in, her only comment was, “you’re late”. She called the people in back and told them, “Your 10 o’clock is finally here.” When my husband mentioned the parking situation, she was completely dismissive.

This Dr is the worst Dr I have ever met in my life ? This Dr Clearly didn't listen to a word I said about another Dr who Did my Surgery 18 years ago an he stated in a Note given to my Ex boss lawyer stating I'm still being seen by the Dr wich is a Lie . This Dr did not listen to me when I tiold him where my pain an my wrist was popping . The Dr feels my wrist bone when I told him it was below my wrist an stated he didn't feel an Popping . THis Dr wrote I I Seem to tolerate pain poorly an because I am in pain managment for Chronic pain for my rods an screws in my back . The Dr also made it clear I didn't want the case mananger in the room because I rather talk to the Dr myself them have a Case worker talking for me . I still have pain in my wrist even with my meds my Dr gives me . The Dr gave me a shot in my wrist if I tolerate pain poorly why would the Dr give me another Shot . I will be visiting the Dr office tomorrow an request to talk to Office manager . Poor Dr an Practice Unreal

Dr. Burns took the tie to explain my condition and show it to me in the X-ray. He then explained the procedure and anticipated recovery time.
