Reviews for Dr. Edgar Harold Peacock JR.
Never again! I had a root canal done about a year ago and just had to get it done 2 days ago. Basically, the root canal that Dr. Peacock was SUPPOSE TO DO he didn’t DO! You trust someone with your dental issues and they just get free money basically since he did nothing.

He just stabbed me with the needle & he knew he was hurting me .. worst experience of my life made Me Cry NEVER AGAIN !
Very rough, no compassion, no real medication for pain and no antibiotics to ensure no infection during healing after getting 4 wisdoms pulled...only staff member I give kiddos to is the nice short assistant!
Dr. Peacock is such a gem, his staff however are the rudest and most unprofessional people ever. If it were not for him and really needing my wisdom teeth extracted ASAP, I would go elsewhere.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone go to this practice.
I brought my brother here this morning for an appointment, which was at 9am. Have been here since, and he has not even been seen yet!!! It is now over an hour since the appointment time... What is the purpose of setting an appointment up, if the Doctor himself can't be somewhat punctual. This is ridiculous!!! ????????
has no regards for ur pain. I've had several teeth extracted but never have I been in this much pain after and he left pieces which r bound to cause more problems later :(
They are very unprofessional. They over schedule to the point where people are sitting on the floors and outside. They do not open at the time they say they will open, here it is 7:50am and i am sitting outside the office waiting on someone to come in when i was told that They would open at 7:30am. Most of his staff with the exception of maybe two or three people are very rude. He overall is a good dentist but his staff and practice overall is very poor and unprofessional They are very unprofessional. The worst ever,it didntdgive me much details. I had a tooth pulled felt everything. I was screaming he says be quite I have other patients. He was extremely ruff. I literally had a panic attack. He proceeded and said of I don't pull this last tooth you will not be able to ever come here again. Stay awayyyyyy
I am quite perplexed to how anyone could give this man anything above 1 star. I didn't mind the wait. I also have a high pain endurance but, the way Dr. peacock handled me, had me all shook up. He walked in, very pleasant...with one hand behind his back. He asked me to open my mouth to have a look and that's when he brought the needle he was holding behind his back and started injecting the novacaine. Mind you, they did not swab a topical numbing agent 1st. So, Dr. Peacock caught me off guard and injected....not once, twice but 4 times in rapid fire concession, while I had one foot on the floor and one hand on his chest, trying to push him off. He left for a few minutes and I turned to the nurse and asked, "what the hell is wrong with that man?!?" The procedure was painful and I asked if I could have something for the pain and he said, "of course you want pain meds," in a very sarcastic tone. I had never asked for pain meds for anything....ever.. yet, he just assumed. Anyhoo.... I would never recommend this dentist to my worst enemy and I believe that Dr. Peacock should just retire and save potential clients, from a whole lotta needless pain! One star for the woman who held my hand and apologized for me being in so much pain. Had two impacted lower wisdom teeth extracted. I fasted the night before...did not put me under. Said they didn't have enough time for a sedation consult. Only received multiple shots of Novocaine. Only received pain killers for three days which is fine. Asked about prednisone or something for swelling...said no. I wish I could post pics. Ended up with dry socket...returned to dentist and he gave me NOTHING ...no topical numbing agent, NOTHING..while he dug out the dry socket which was infected. Thus is my one star...for the assistant whose hand I squeezed so hard. Received a bill for entire amount...no explanation (although I had insurance). Sent them my insurance information which they received on the day of my surgery. Received another bill for entire amount..no explanation. I called and they said my insurance couldn't locate me so they billed me. If they had told me that to begin with I would have never sent the information again..would have resolved it on my end. Insurance (which I had) paid it. NIGHTMARE One star for the woman who held my hand and apologized for me being in so much pain. Had two impacted lower wisdom teeth extracted. I went to dr peacock to have a tooth extracted. I have special circumstances and have trigeminal neuralgia as well as tmj. I can not afford to be put to sleep and can not get numb so I had to endure the pain of having the back molar pulled while being able to feel everything. At first everything went well the dr got it out I got relief but ever since then I've had multiple issues. I have now had 4 other surgeries since the tooth has been removed. I have been to er 3 times and had 2 infections all because this one tooth was pulled. Pieces of tooth were left in my mouth which caused first infection I went back to dr expressed the pain I was in and he stated everything looked fine. 3 days later in horrific pain I went back just for him to see there was bone shards were the the tooth had been pulled. He then had to hammer and shave the bone down all while feeling everything.whixh then caused a soft tissue infection. From then I got dry socket twice and had to go back 4 times to have the spot packed. Then more bone came out and we had to do another surgery. Each time enduring more pain and not being able to get numb. In the beginning peacock was very understanding to my pain and not being able to get numb but towards the end here he began treating me as tho I was just trying to get pain meds. I just wanted a single tooth removed and that's pain enough in itself that then turned into more surgery infections and er trips. Believe me no one who lives with pain the way I do on a daily basis would go through this just for some damn pain meds. And the only reason they were needed was bc of the work that was done (mind you all of this came from having the one back molar removed) since then I had my front tooth crack completely at the gum. I tried to schedule to go back but peacock was at conference so they referee us to another oral surgeon and to Barbee across the street we opted to go to Barbee bc it was closer and I had heard she was very understanding and gentle. You see with all this I was terrified to go to another dentist after everything that has happen and the other oral they recommend was just to far so we told the oral we call back to confirm appointment and then went with barbee. Barbee saw us and was so nice but stated to go back to peacock so when we called today the rude ugly receptionist said Dr peacock would only see me on the 28th and that he was mad bc we opted to go to barbee instead of the other oral. She said some rude comments and I proceeded to tell her why we went barbee and that the other oral was to far she then stated she was mad bc we told to Barbee I needed to be sedated and truthfully I do but we can't afford it. I told her that while explaining I can not get numb due to my trigeminal neuralgia. So the receptionist said peacock was mad and I expressed to her why I said I need to be sedated but can't be that I can feel everything done and she screamer at me said I needed to find another dentist and hung up in my face. Dr peacock really helped at first but due to him pulling the tooth and the many other problems and my continued visits due to the problems from him pulling the tooth he began to be ugly to me and treat like I was doing something wrong. I just wanted that one tooth out and to be free of pain not have more caused and still have bone exposed and have some nasty rude receptionist try to tell me how my mouth feels and hang up on me. I was so scared to go get my teeth pulled but as soon as I got there they made me feel so comfortable. The doctor himself did an excellent job, I would have given them 5 stars but my only problem is the waiting. I waited about 2 hours before I was even taken to the back and I had an appointment. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Peacock and his staff. I was scared to death. They spoke to me about what they were going to do. I had no pain, not even with the shot. I will definitely use him again, if I need to.
Horrible! Dr Peacock had 10 other Clients besides me. All scheduled at the same time! We will not be back my time is valuable!
I schedule an appointment with Dr Peacock because a trusted friend recommended him. Came to the appointment you have to ring the bell for a receptionist to come out. Was taken to the back I guess by the dental assistant. I guess she most not be a morning person because she did not speak to me at all until she was ready to tell me the doctor will be with you shortly. Waited in the room for about 30 minutes when the dental assistant came in and said" what did he say you are going to have done", is he going to extract your tooth. I was beyond confused because Dr. Peacock never came in to see me. I told her the surgeon has not seen me yet, she stated " oh and I'm already cleaning up". She then said he will be in shortly. I waited for about another 5 minutes and decided to leave because I did not feel comfortable any more. I schedule an appointment with Dr Peacock because a trusted friend recommended him. The receptionist scheduled at least 5 people for the same time, not to mention the receptionist (Shelley) was very rude, but Dr. Peacock and his dental assistants were very nice and comforting. Would have been a 5 star but thanks to Shelly it's 2.

This was the first time I came to this Dentist for an extraction. Considering the dentists I have used in the past. He numbed me very quickly. After I was numb, he verified first that I was. He as well, extracted the tooth fairy quickly to. Awesome doctor and very personable considering the pain your already having!! Staff is nice as well. Amazing experience. Never had a tooth pulled or anything like that before. Had heard horror stories about wisdom teeth and one of mine was very complicated. He did a stand up job that had almost NO swelling and was up and moving the same night without issues. Would recommend him to anyone! I don't usually write reviews but him and his staff deserved one! I was really nervous about having one of my wisdom teeth extracted without sedation (being put to sleep). Dr. Peacock had it out within about 2 minutes and it wasn't even painful. This was the best dentist experience of my life and I will definitely refer him to all of my family and friends. He really knows what he is doing to have it done that quick and easy. Dr. Peacock performed my the extraction of my four wisdom teeth. Nobody else would touch them because of my insurance, but he and his staff made sure that my insurance provided a pre-authorization and they handled everything for me. Dr. Peacock also diagnosed issues with my gum that my dentist had overlooked. Very qualified and very friendly!

I called the office today and the lady was the most unprofessional individual I think I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. "Hold on" was what I got and I was on hold for 5 minutes. I finally hung up and will not call back.
He is very caring. Very professional.
Had all my upper teeth pulled, no pain at all. I feel that with all that work and have no pain is amazing, THANKS DOC
Amazing doctor. The office worked with me through all of my complications with a smile. Love Dr. Peacock. He just makes you feel at ease. Would recommend him to anyone.
He works fast and painlessly!!!! I went in terrified and came out ready to go back to have something else done. Him and his staff were the true definition of caring- they listened and spent time explaining things. Thank God for Dr. Peacock and his team.

Waited 2 1/2 HOURS to be seen. They make you ring a door bell and sit down. After waiting one hour I rang it again and she said sorry I didn't here you the first time.... WTH. But Dr. Peacock was GREAT!
Very professional staff, and Dr Peacock is very good at what he does. I would definitely recommend this office to anyone who needs a top notch oral surgeon.
I have never been to a oral surgeon that works so fast. Before I could even ask if he had one tooth out he had already taken out all three. I would recommend him to anybody.
