Excellent doctor. The best I've ever seen. But I'm giving 2 stars because the staff has consistently been rude for the past 10+ years I've been going there. I have never seen such arrogant and rude staff in my life. They act as if they're doing a tremendous favor by working there and accepting my money. It's a shame because the doctor is SO nice but the staff ruins the experience, especially the lady in the front desk.

The only reason I stayed was because Dr Batista is a fine ophthalmologist, and I will always say that. However his practice is managed by rude people lacking empathy. Their driving force is money and it should be patient care. The staff is rude and uncaring as well. After being a patient for a while they refused to make an appointment for me unless I paid a small balance left over after surgery. They refused to make payment arrangements.
