Dr. Baer is very kind, calm, and explains everything he's doing. He's great with my kids, takes IHN, and his secretary is very friendly and helpful. Would recommend!

This was my first visit with Dr Baer as I am a newcomer to Corvallis. I have worn glasses now for 11 years. I am very satisfied with the staff I found them to be friendly, accommodating and patient. Dr Baer was wonderful, his many years of practice are apparent in his expertise and his poised demeanor. He gave easy to understand summary of his exam and was very gentle. Best eye doctor I've ever seen. Skilled, knowledgeable, extremely kind, really takes the extra step to care for and about his patients. I cannot recommend highly enough, I drive across the state just to see him, he's worth the trip.

Best eye exam I've ever had, and I've had a lot. Coming from an office where you may spend 20 minutes waiting in an exam chair and 5 minutes with the optometrist, it was refreshing to spend nearly an hour with Dr. Baer carefully performing a thorough exam. Dr. Baer and his staff are awesome! The office has a warm feel to it, and everyone is very kind. I went in for an annual eye exam, and I'd have to say that he's the best eye doctor that I've ever seen. Unlike bigger clinics or hospitals where nurses/doctors treat patients like they're cars in an assembly line, Dr. Baer takes his time to explain and educate about each test that will be conducted. He is thorough, professional, friendly, and polite. The exam itself was the most complete and comprehensive one that I've ever had. No part in the process felt rushed, and after the exam, I had a genuine grasp about the status of my vision. I truly felt that he cared about me as a human/patient rather than a money cow to be milked. I'll definitely return to his office for my next eye exam. Dr. Baer and his staff are awesome!
