I just finished my month of radiation treatments at Advocate Radiation Oncology. This place is a first rate medical provider. I have been to a number of various providers, and I do not think I have been to one better. One area I typically see as being an issue is communication. Dr Fitch and team couldn’t be better. I know I will miss a few, but I do want to give shout outs to the two doctors I saw - Dr Fitch and Dr Truong. They both take their time with you, show compassion and are just plain nice! I was referred to Dr Fitch for follow up care after my surgery for breast cancer. Dr Fitch and his amazing team of skilled nurses and technicians guided me throughout my 6 weeks of radiation. I was always greeted warmly, treated promptly and given ongoing encouragement. Dr. Fitch and his team operate with the utmost professionalism and compassion, and were always available to answer my questions

Well I just got finished with my radiation treatments at Advocate radiation oncology Dr Fitch and staff were absolutely the best! Couldn't have asked for a better facility and just the way they treated everybody with such great respect and care it was quite an easy process because of all the wonderful people that work there. I don't believe you can find a doctor or a staff that will provide better service and care.I never got any feelings of being rushed when talking to Dr. Fitch or his staff.They always answered my questions, addressed my concerns and followed through with things they promised to do.

I was referred to Dr. Fitch by my surgeon. He is a warm, compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. Every week I saw Dr. Fitch or one of the other doctors to check my progress. I just finished my radiation on July 31st and rang the bell. The office is very clean. The staff is very caring and friendly. If you are in a position where you need radiation, I would highly recommend Dr. Fitch and Advocate Radiation Oncology.

I rang the bell last Friday! Dr. Fitch and his staff radiation technologists made the experience peaceful and stressfree. He was flexible in scheduling my treatments around a hectic work schedule and he made himself available for questions and concerns no matter the time or day. This diagnosis was a little scary. I can't thank Dr. Fitch, or Dr Truong enough for their professional demeanor and the delicate handling of all of my concerns. For 35 days, the radiation technologists were personable, positive and supportive. I doesn't get any better than this!!!

Dr. Fitch is very caring and his team were wonderful during my cancer treatment too, I will miss seeing them every weekday! They really made this difficult time easier for me, despite the extra problems I had. Jessica and Brandon in particular went out of their way to listen and help me, plus they were rather fun to talk to. I had some great radiology techs too, especially Rosalyn and Jackie. Dr. Fitch is a very caring and supportive doctor who knows his stuff. Using a 3-D radiology approach, and he fried the nerve ends abutting my groin tumor. I was in a wheelchair and begging for someone to put me down when I arrived. Two months later I walked in unassisted completely pain free.

Dr. Fitch is a very compassionate and knowledgeable doctor. He takes the extra time to explain the findings and the treatment plan of choice. His reception staff are pleasant and always greet you with a smile.

The office is clean and modern, the staff are friendly and helpful and the Doctor is knowledgeable warm and friendly. I had 31 radiation treatments and all but one was on time. I would highly recommend this medical facility.

Dr . Fitch was referred to us by Moffitt Cancer Institute. He was incredibly knowledgeable, caring, and put us at ease. Dr Fitch provided outstanding care for me in 2009 when I was diagnosed with colon cancer. When I was diagnosed now with a different kind of cancer, I only wanted Dr Fitch again. He is very compassionate, tells you straight up what to expect during radiation, and maintains communication with you each week. Knowing he was overseeing my care this time too, made the whole experience less scary.

Lovely new office which welcomes the patient with friendly staff. Cold juices and water bottles in waiting room, a large screen with calming panoramic views of picturesque locations around the world. York peppermint patties to reward patients on the way out. Well run office with most appointments taking around 20 minutes. Dr. Fitch listens attentively and answers all questions thoroughly. Promptly returns calls if a problem arises and even has been known to give a reassuring hug at the close of an appointment. Can’t imagine a better experience considering the stressful situation of needing radiation treatment.

I recently underwent radiation treatments for prostrate cancer and Dr. Fitch was everything you could hope for in an oncology specialist. His description of the process and what side effects I could experience was spot on and the practice itself is beautiful and state of the art. If you live in this area, he is your best bet for effective and successful care.

I help my Uncle with his medical care, and took him to his first visit with Dr Fitch. Dr Fitch validated my Uncles concerns, and encouraged both the patient and family members to ask questions. No question was too small. The visit was informative, and gave my Uncle a good picture of what to expect.

Dr. Fitch breathed life back into me after my cancer surgery. I had to receive 4 weeks of radiation 5 days a week, and instead of dreading my appointments there, I looked forward to them. My first visit he told me to take off my mask, and gave me a big hug. Every time I would visit he would start the visit with a hug and huge smile and end the visit the same way. I realized that I was no longer a cancer patient but a cancer survivor. I know he is the reason his staff treats me so well, you can tell everyone there from the receptionist to the radiologists love working there. I am so glad that Dr. Khakpour and Dr. Marple referred me to him. Everywhere you looked in his office there were affirmations that life was good, you would be okay, and you realized your cancer was not the end of your life it was the next chapter. He explained things so easily, so I truly understood why I needed radiation, what the benefits would be and what the impact would be to not do it. After the treatments were over he made sure he explained the reason for the additional chemo pills, and when I told him how sick the first pills made me, he told me if they made me more sick than the benefit of taking them, that maybe they are not necessary discuss it with your oncologist. He explained things to me none of other doctors did, and I am forever grateful to him and his staff for being my partner in fighting the last battle of my cancer.

Dr. Fitch is a compassionate competent physician who cares deeply about his patients’ welfare. He referred me to the appropriate surgeon and followed my progress every step of the way. Now while undergoing radiation treatment, he checks in often and ensures that everything is going according to the plan. His interest in his patients is evident from the moment you meet him. I have no complaints at the office. The girls in the office are my little babies! Dr Dwight has been wonderful. I enjoy coming into the office the staff is very pleasant and funny. And Dr Fitch gives great hugs!

Dr. Fitch is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. I met him last week during a consultation for my mom. Her cancer diagnosis is a huge shock, especially since it has moved to her brain. My mom has been very healthy her whole life. To say this has blindsided us would be an understatement. In the 6 weeks since we found out, very little has been done besides consultations. Last week the results came back that the cancer is in her brain. Dr. Fitch's office got her in immediately. The staff is very nice, the office is beautifully decorated and clean. Dr. Fitch came in and introduced himself and immediately went through her entire diagnosis and treatment options. He was thorough and compassionate and immediately launched into treatment for her brain cancer. Within two days they started radiation. After weeks of waiting on other doctors and medical centers, Dr. Fitch took action immediately. You cannot imagine the relief we feel that he started her treatment so quickly. Dr. Fitch is an amazing Doctor and person. He truly cares about each of his patients and their families. He takes his time to make sure that everything is completely understood. I really appreciate his compassion for others, not only in the medical field but in life as a great mentor. I highly recommend him!!!

Dr Fitch and his staff made a hard medical issue manageable. They were kind and attentive always asking me how I was doing. They daily attended to my medical needs. Their precision was very reassuring. There was no guess work while administering my treatments. The facility was new and clean. I would recommend Dr. Fitch to anyone in need of radiation.

Everyone in the office is professional and friendly. Appointment times are kept, but they are very willing to be flexible if something comes up. Dr. Dwight Fitch takes the time to explain every detail and is very caring. The technicians are also very caring, friendly, and just plain wonderful. They were very gentle with my husband and did a perfect job.

DR FITCH IS ONE OF THE BEST DOCTORS I HAVE EVER HAD. i consider myself a professional patient as i am just going thru my 6th bout of cancer. i have met several doctors since my journey began in 1998. when Dr Fitch entered the room, he apologized for being late and then recited my medical history pretty much chapter, line and verse. he is kind, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding AND he listens! i did get abit emotional a couple of times and he was very comforting and reassuring. there are not enough complimentary words to describe this wonderful doctor. i feel so blessed to have him as one of the leads on my medical team! My wife and I had the pleasure of sitting down with Dr. Fitch for a consultation, related to my prostate cancer diagnosis. We needed to make a decision between surgery or radiation treatment. Dr. Fitch spent at least 20 minutes discussing the pros and cons of the two options. Although Dr. Fitch presented a strong argument for surgery, which would not be done by his practice, my wife and I were so impressed with him, that we decided to move forwarded with the radiation option. Dr. Fitch made it very clear that I have a good chance for success defeating this disease, whichever option I select. My wife and I decided on the radiation option based on a couple factors. The most important being the side effects of the surgery option compared to radiation. The other factor was the professionalism and care shown by Dr. Fitch, during the consultation session. Dr Fitch was recommended to me by my primary care doc after my cancer diagnosis. So pleased with the recommend. He took his time during our first consult and answered all my questions, and then was very caring during my 6 weeks of treatment. Hopefully, I’ll not require any further treatment, but if I do, I’m fully comfortable with being under his care.

Dr. Fitch is a knowledgeable doctor and kind and caring human being. He came highly recommended to me by my surgeon's office and by two friends who were breast cancer patients. In fact, a plastic surgeon I met who worked with his patients noted his outstanding skill and precision with radiation. Cancer treatment is an educational process, not just a technical one. He understands this and is patient, honest, takes the time answer questions and put things in context.

Dr. Fitch treated my dad for esophageal cancer. The cancer was gone within a few months. My dad also had cancerous spots on his liver, but a biopsy was never taken. A year after the initial diagnosis and no spread of the cancer, Dr. Fitch told my dad he only had 3-6 months to live. He hadn't even seen my dad regularly in over 6 months. Does he think he's God? My dad went severely down hill afterwards & died in December. A doctor should speak hope and life over his patients, not be a grim reaper
