Nelson Vein was such blessing to me. I had been passed around by other Drs, mis diagnosed and much more so I was very guarded coming in for the first time. Dr. Nelson and her staff are wonderful. The Doctor explained my condition and its proposed treatment succinctly and understandably. The treatments themselves were made as comfortable as possible, Paulaand each session was finished in a reasonable amount of time. Appointments are easy to schedule, and when changes are necessary, the staff is pleasantly accommodating. I am so happy that I chose Dr. Nelson to help me. Should my veins need treatment in the future, I would opt for Dr. Nelson again.

I was referred to Dr. Nelson by a well-respected vascular surgeon who acknowledged that I showed evidence of varicose veins, but knew that my primary focus seemed to be the very dark and defined spider veins that I had been self-conscious of for many years. I was a bit nervous about making an appointment, but after having lost a bit of weight, I thought about how I deserved to do something "good" for myself. First, let me say that the staff could not have been more pleasant and accommodating. Making an appointment was quick and easy and I never had to wait more than five minutes for any appointment, once I arrived. As for Dr. Nelson and her team, I can only say "THANK YOU" -- for educating me on every step of the process to "fix" my legs, and for not simply agreeing to address the spider veins. I never would have known that the procedure that most clinics perform would result in the need for repeat procedures because the underlying, more serious condition of my veins, hadn't been addressed. Now, almost a full year after addressing the root cause of the varicose veins AND the spider veins, my legs still feel great. Dr. Nelsondid an amazing job. I was in my mid 40s at the time of my treatment. Due to bad genes, my legs looked and felt like they were in their 60s. Now they look like they did when I was in my 20s. The aches and tiredness are gone. No more popping ibuprofen to feel better. The ladies at the front desk were thorough in getting insurance approval, scheduling appointments and very patient. I had a great experience with Dr. Nelson and her staff. Everyone is very friendly and courteous. I've lived with varicose veins for quite some time. I had to sit and put my legs up because they were sore and tired, even had trouble sleeping at night. For the past 5 years, I have been dealing with painful, swollen legs. I had previously gone to a few other vascular surgeons but was not satisfied with their treatment approaches. Dr. Nelson and her team offered a simple, non-invasive way to treat my legs and make me finally feel good again! Dr. Nelson and her staff were extremely professional and knowledgable towards my condition. My phlebectomy procedure on both legs was conducted in the office and I was able to go out to dinner afterwards!

Went to dr nelson what a rip off . When I made appointment I asked about my insurance covering my visit, I was assured it would be covered. Dr Nelson did nothing for me except a ultrasound on my legs. Then I got a bill for $677.00 my insurance will not cover this visit. Good thing I did not do the follow up visit that they insisted was necessary.
