Mr. Durga Prasad Sunkara

DR Sunkara told me that I have disease in person, not a simple one but hepatitis A and B. He told me that it is because of the infected water and infected needles. After doing my own research on the lab test, I found out that I have antibody, not an antigen. I talked to him about my research and he told me that I it might have caused by disease or vaccination. But the first time he told me I have disease, I was really scared as i heard hepatitis is a life threatening disease. He should know the difference between antigen and antibody. He is the worst doctor I have ever consulted.

This has always been a great experience has been great! The office staff is amazing! I feel listened to and always get what I need.

Dr Sunkara has helped me beyond words with my pain and addiction to pain pills that other doctors were given me he saved me he really cares about his patient’s and there health he’s a Gentleman and a scholar I thought I’d be taking pills for the the rest life thank you doctor Sunkara

Great Doctor and wonderful staff. They truly care for each of their patients. Doctor explains everything so that patient's understand and will answer all questions asked.

Great Doctor. Takes time to explain what is needed for improved health. As my personal Doctor, he has established a annual wellness plan that includes physical and applicable blood work. Fast and efficient at providing referrals when needed. Short wait times. Efficiently run office.

I’ve been a patient of Dr.Sunkara for many years now and I love him! Him & the staff are like family to me. He cares and has always made time for me when ever I have issues or concerns. As long as he is practicing medicine I’ll continue to see him as my doctor.

I switched to Dr. Sunkara a few years ago when my insurance changed. I was reluctant at first mostly because his offices weren’t particularly close to my hometown or place of employment. It turns out, he and his staff provide excellent care and are attentive and helpful with any and all questions and concerns. I don’t mind the distance at all, nor do I miss my old doctor. I have been with dr. Sunkara for almost 3 years and his staff is so sweet. Dr. Has a very good bed side manner. His staff are so friendly. I would recommend him to others.

I think people mostly review when they perceived they've had a bad experience. I read the negative reviews for Dr. Sunkara before booking an appointment and I'm glad I ignored them. He is kind and caring. He also is pretty funny. I moved to Houston and needed a primary care Doctor and I'm so glad I found him. He answered all my questions from anxiety issues to intestinal issues. He also provided me with additional resources and even showed me on my phone how to access those things online. He never seems to be rushing out the room. He even did a breathing exercise with me once when I was deep in my anxiety. The staff is AMAZING and I'm always appreciative of their positivity

Dr. Sunkara has been my PCP for years. I feel very satisfied with the care I receive from him. He always takes the time to listen to me and answer any questions I have. With the health issues I have, I am very thankful to have him as my doctor. I also completely adore his staff. They are very friendly and attentive, never miss any details either. I couldn't be any more pleased with them if I tried. Between Dr. Sunkara and his staff, they make going to see a doctor something to look forward to.

Dr. Sunkara and staff are great. Appointments are kept on schedule and I'm usually done with my appointment with in an hour, Which is great.! He will take the time to answer your question and go over your treatment plan. I'm glad I found him and he is now my dr.

Dr. Sunkara is my PCP. He and his staff are professional and very friendly. After 10 years as his patient I think so highly of him that my son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter are his patients as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sunkara's for about 2 years. He is my Primary Care Physician. He is always very thorough during my visits, answers all of my questions in detail, never makes me feel like he is hurried. He also makes sure that he has all of my reports from my other doctors to make sure that he is well informed in all areas of my medical care. He is also a kind man, easy to talk to, and makes sure that you have his full attention. I am so very glad that I found him!

I searched out a doctor to help me with opiate addiction. I was at the end of my abilities to cope with the addiction, work, and family. After taking some of my information and seeing me in office to talk, he decided to take me as a patient. He may not take every patient that comes to see him, since he doesnt seem in need to take it all, but he takes the ones he knows he can help. My life is mine again. I owe a great deal of gratitude to the staff and Dr. Sunkara.

I am a new patient at Dr Sunkara and am confident I have finally found a Dr I can continue to see. It is rare to find a Dr that has a great balance of patient wait time and time spent on the consultation. Overall a great experience and a breathe of fresh air finding a doctor worth continuing to see after having having several bad experiences with other incompetent Doctors.

My experience with Dr. Sunkara and his staff has been great from the get go. He takes time to explain and monitor everything. It's very evident that he truly cares and has a passion for what he does.
