Dr. Drew L Nahigyan

This review had nothing to do with the service of Dr Nahigyan who I have been a patient of for many years along with other members of my family. Rather this has to do with a bill I received from his office for a Telehealth visit ,which was a phone call ,not even a video call and couldn't have been even 10 minutes. I was in shock to receive a bill for the 340 dollars I usually pay for an in person visit . I naievely thought it must be an error but upon speaking with both billing and the Drs office manager ,I was told that no it is the correct charge and apparently counts as a regular office visit ,at least in terms of what they charge,but I did not have any vitals checked ,or lungs listened to or any type of physical exam but just a list of questions about how I was doing, which I answered,and was given a date to go for my usual 3 month labs ,which I expect to get the regular bill for because I actually went and had that done as opposed to just talking about it . I have been seeing Drew Nahigyan as my PCP for over 25 years. During that time I have found him to be an excellent, compassionate and scrupulously careful professional . Like the time he called me, outside of hours, because he was concerned about something that had come up on an MRI. A MRI taken because of an accident I had which was well outside the Southcoast system but something he had taken the time to investigate. Also, if I am feeling sick he will always either see me directly the same day or I will meet with his his excellent PA. Personal Health care as good as it comes in this world.
