I was on Marco Island for a two week vacation in August and hurt my back moving a wave runner stuck on the beach. A day after hurting my back I began having terrible back spasms. I have a Chiropractor that I see regularly in Connecticut but I knew I needed help before I could even think about getting on a plane for a long flight home. I called Dr Stephenson's office and spoke to the receptionist and told her my story, she told me to come down right away. The receptionist got me right through with my initial paperwork and into an exam room. Dr. Stephenson quickly evaluated me and then went to work on my back. I have been to several different Chiropractors before but Dr. Stephenson impressed my with his thoroughness and skill at granting me relief from my pain. If it were not for Dr. Stephenson and his staff I would never had been able to endure a long flight home. I find myself wishing that Dr Stephenson could be my regular Chiropractor. Very knowledgeable professional, you feel it instantly when and how he works on you; looks in your eyes when he explains what you have because he knows what you have; and, if he is not 100% sure, - in extreme cases - he is very careful until he gets new radiology results. My husband and I are his patients for the last 5 years (as seasonal visitors). I do recommend him with confidence; experience counts! His staff (wife) is a nice, devoted, ideal office help. Office policies are almost criminal. They charge an outrageous $110 new patient exam fee AFTER you get your adjustment. Claim Medicare does not pay for it. 3 minutes of questions by the doctor is not an exam. Receptionist who is rude and belligerent states the doctor did a complete neurological exam ... 2 pages. Tell me when I show you my insurance that I need to make a payment. Checked with various other chiropractors who never heard of $110 exam fee. Adjustment was worthless still in pain

I think Dr. Stephenson is The Best. Very honest!! And will not waste ure money on Vax D treatment r etc. I did the Vax D treatment with Bonita Chiropractor. It was a waste of big $$$ i dont recommend it and neither does Dr. Stephenson. Dr. Stephenson sent me fir a MRI he doesnt fool around with ure back. He takes it very serious

Dr Stephenson is a very good chiropractor. Office staff not so much !!! Incorrect billing dates, amounts, Checks cashed by other people!! First thing you see when entering the office is a sign that states please turn off cell phones as a courtesy to other patients, yet receptionist walks around talking on Her phone while attending to patients.

Dr.Stephenson and his staff are amazing and very professional. They really helped me with my chronic back pain.
