Dr. Douglas Edward Stabile

I’ve been a patient of Dr Stabile for many years. His practice is of high standards. He speaks plainly and is very attentive with all his patients. If fact all the drs in this practice are totally awesome as well as the support staff.

Great doctor!

Ok, this review is about 25 years late! When I was 11 and 12 years old, Dr. Stabile gave me the gift of my feet! Barely able to walk and in constant pain and progressing, both feet were reconstructed (a year apart). Those feet have taken me around the world, up mountains, and more. While I have since been diagnosed with an underlying condition that impacts all my joints, connective tissues, and health that surgery years ago gave me so much (and I would be much worse off today without it). One of my favorite stories to tell (and show!) is about my feet. Thank you to Dr. Stabile, and I imagine he is still just as amazing. My feet are a work of art.

I have been a patient of Dr. Stabile since 2002 - he is an amazing, talented, compassionate, and wicked smart man. I am athletic and he has treated several issues to include performing a bunionectomy, treating a triple ligament tear/fracture combo (WITHOUT surgery), Achilles tendonitis, and Morton’s neuroma. He did foot surgery on my 13 year old son - he had short tendons in a couple of toes that was impacting his ability to run. I trust Dr. Stabile wholeheartedly and have recommended him to several friends and family members. Great demeanor, very informative. Takes time to talk to you, explain & answer questions. Doesn’t rush to judgement. Very knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommend for anyone who wants assurance you are in good hands.

Dr Stabile is a great surgeon, an amazing caring physician. I can’t say enough about him. The staff is always amazing!

I don’t know where to begin, I just want to start off by saying God Bless all the doctors including Dr, Stabile. I know it isn’t easy being a doctor but what I do know is we all are Human and we aren’t perfect we are entitled to make an mistake but one thing I can say is my foot doctor has intelligence he’s an doctor that all patients would want no matter if he’s right or wrong over all he’s an wonderful doctor and I commend him for his conragious work. He’s very funny, stern, and down to earth no matter what people say about him I know how wonderful he is he’s been my doctor for 4 years now and I just want to clear some things up about what my husband said now no one knows my doctor like I do and my husband was just a little up set but he didn’t mean no harm. Dr, Stabile really appreciate and loves his patients he wouldn’t tell you nothing wrong and he really cares about us I know he has an good heart. I mean you can talk to him about anything, he’s just an all around good guy and I’m sure his family is very lucky to have him just as much as I appreciate him. Dr, Stabile did my foot surgery last year and everything was fine I healed perfectly and there were no complications at all. Now this go around I had an MRI on my right foot in which was operated on last year with no problem now I need another surgery and my doctor was straight up forward and he read the MRI to me and told me Ms,Williams your going to need another surgery and after that conversation I was very confident by my doctor doing the surgery that I was going to be okay. He really makes you feel comfortable and he’s been in practice over 30 something years I believe but where I’m going with all of this I just want to leave you all who’s thinking about finding an Foot Doctor/ surgent/ podiatrist, always have faith and trust in your doctor just like you do with the lord and learn to understand one another bill an patient and Doctor relationship and learn to understand we all make mistakes but that doesn’t always mean we are a bad person. If you are looking for and foot surgent I would recommend Dr, Stabile at the LakeRidge and Foot And Ankle Surgery Center in Woodbridge,Va and Stafford Va off of Garrisonville Rd, but his main office is in Woodbridge, Va and he’s an understanding doctor he cares about his patients feelings and pain and he would do whatever it takes to make you comfortable and better. You can trust him just like I did and Dr, Stabile if you read this to everyone whom is looking for an Foot doctor he would be your best choice he’s never gaven up on me he always try to be there for his patients and he never gives up I rated him 5 stars but I just want my doctor to know from the heart you are appreciated in my life because I know you are a good man. So I am forever grateful to have you as my doctor and you will always be my friend no matter what. So disregard what negativity people have to say about you I know what your capsule of and I never once judge you character or skill I know you are well experienced and you did an wonderful job on my first surgery and now I’m getting ready to have another one and I’m so glad your the one who’s going to be doing it. You are amazing and I’m lucky to be a patient of yours. So if you all are looking for an Podiatrist and foot surgent he’s the the guy you want to call I’m telling you, you will not regret it and he takes time in explaining in detail about your situation just give him a chance you will learn to love him and appreciate his authority and work. He has taken excellent care of my elderly mom. Very helpful and friendly.

I have gone to him for a bad ankle sprain and he took excellent care of that but more importantly he has been caring for my 93 year old mother who has multiple foot and leg issues and he has helped her be comfortable and she continues to get around thanks to Dr. Stabile.

Be very cautious of going to this practice because Dr. Stabile has shown very poor judgement in putting my 10 year old daughter in a bad position by putting her through unnecessary surgeries with implants that didn't work and had to be removed. She is in more pain now than before, she Is now self conscious of the scars left on her feet, and walks worse now than she did prior to the surgery. A doctor that is so quick to do this to a child would not hesitate to do worse with adults. Go elsewhere.

I had chronic pain in both feet due to bunions, hammer toes and severely mis-aligned toes. Fortunately, I learned about Dr. Douglas Stabile. Over the past year he performed two surgical procedures on each foot. The outcome has been outstanding. I could not be more satisfied. He is a superb surgeon and a most pleasant gentleman.
